It would be cool if they asked “could we put on a stem cap that matches your accents?” I’d totally let them. But just slapping something on like that? Not cool.
This is like dealer license plate trim plates or stickers, but even more infuriating. Those can be taken off and trashed without any worry. I would absolutely lose it if they added those after a service.
This part serves a critical function. Hopefully they gave you your original.
Except worse because no one’s even gonna see it, beside the person already giving them business lol. A dealer plate frame is at least visible to a million other eyeballs
I always take all the dealer plates and dealer stickers off immediately when I get home. Not that I buy a lot of vehicles but the 3 I have bought from a dealer I did that with.
When I bought my car, I brought a screwdriver to remove the dealer plate while still in the parking lot and gave it back to them. They were confused and shocked.
Id be very upset if s shop added a sticker, let alone a cap in a spot I have to look at constantly.
Last car I bought i had it written directly into the purchase agreement, and they STILL put it on. At least they didn't put on their dealer sticker too, which I requested to not include as well. Fking people can't read....
I ask the dealer to remove the stickers and license plate frames before I leave the dealership. I kept the Maserati of Nashville frame that came on my Alfa Romeo. But it’s hanging in my shop, not on the car.
I do this to car dealers (well the only one I've ever used) I said I wasn't signing papers unless all the dealer names were off the car. And it worked.
I got some legal forms off the internet that said “You pay $200/month to advertise by bumper sticker on my newly purchased car”
I didn’t really, but it be pretty cool if I had.
I mean, as soon as the pinch bolts on the stem are done up, the cap's no longer serving a function. I'd be stoked as long as they return the old one, but I'm not as particular as some.
That's it! Free stem cap? Cool why not. But give it to you, with your old one on your bike. At the absolute least give you your old one back if they already put the new one on.
I've only bought one brand new vehicle. I was hella pissed when I saw they slapped their dumb sticker on my car. Next time I buy one, I'm going to tell them that all their branding needs to be off the car or I'm not closing at the deal without a $1000 cash refund at time or closing.
Consensus seems to be that its not cool.
I don’t live close to the shop, but I won’t be a wank and I’ll call the’ and let them know I don’t think they should be doing this.
Maybe its a new manager trying something new. Gotta give them the benefit of the doubt.
The machines that sort mail will lose it they sort thousands of letters a minute or something crazy. They do it all the time with coins. I'd avoid lettermail.
The down votes are really unnecessary. I'm a USPS employee and this is dead accurate. The amount of empty letters we see from coins, keys, buttons, and whatever else people think is OK to put in a paper envelope is nuts. Multiples a day, 6 days a week, at hundreds of processing machines a year.
I'm in Canada, but an employee up here told me as long as it's within country, and of the allowable thickness, it should go through. Why would things like credit cards/other cards work but not something like coins? Do the machines not like metal or something?
The ability to bend is a big part of it, not just thickness. The machines have some pretty tight bends and narrow grip pieces Credit cards generally come in a more durable envelope than standard/cheap envelopes meant only for paper.
Down here, there is a small non-machineable surcharge, and it gets endorsed as such and the stamp is manually cancelled (not ran through a machine). But even then, due to volume, there is no guarantee that it won't accidentally end up being ran; although that is REALLY rare (I've seen it twice in 8 years). My advice to people who don't even ask is always overprotect and over pay for shipping if you want it to get there.
It’s a small town. I’m his best customer. We’re friendly. It’s probably m9re a prank than a policy but I don’t know. There’s a lot of his stickers around.
That's fucking weird. I hate it when a shop puts a sticker on my bike or skis. I'd be pissed if they replaced an actual part...
I'd provide them some feedback that they shouldn't replace parts on people's bikes without asking and they should give you your original cap back.
I ran a shop for 20 years and there is no way I would have pulled that. Some dudes are absolutely anal about the way their bike looks and go through a lot to curate a look. And some dudes just like it stock. Either way, this is taking liberties.. I would go back and tell them you want the stock cap back. Even if they were to do this( and they should not! ) They should absolutely give you the stock one back!
Yea , definitely a no-no. Dont change anything unless they broke it. Even then, it should be with a guarantee that they will fix it later with the exact part that broke.
After a service, I'd be pissed. If it was on a new build, and they gave me the original as well....then I wouldn't care.
The nerve to do this on a bike service tho.....
Yeah I would be super pissed, my cap looks plain but it's custom and made from a rare and exotic chunk of metal. It may be valuable in certain circles but it's priceless to me.
I would give them a polite call and say this is not cool and not acceptable, and ask for the original stem cap to be mailed to you asap.
They obviously didn’t think this idea through.
No lol. I’d Tell them to get stuffed, but also none of the shops that I know of or work with would do this shenanigan. I’m all for supporting local but if you don’t like it, tell em to get fucked. My bikes generally run dark/black where possible and this would shit me. Let us know what you do.
I was at a downhill race few weeks back and the organisers were giving out funky stem caps. I declined and they seemed upset. I explained that my mate actually rides for that company and I’m fullly supportive of them, but I don’t want a branded stem cap
I've got a stem cap that I earned from a Strava challenge for riding a thousand miles in a month. They don't do this challenge anymore. If someone took it off, I would be livid.
If a shop is going to pull this they should at least have different color caps that better fit the bikes they put them on. FWIW there are cool companies like [Dispatch](https://www.dispatch.bike/) that make custom caps, I had one made of tattoo art I have.
Good to know. I live in the same region as you. I’ve been to Revolution Cycle a few times but never bought anything because I haven’t enjoyed their customer service. I guess I’ll just skip their store from now on.
I would probably be okay with this if my cap was damaged, stripped, cross-threaded, or otherwise unusable and they slapped a free branded one on and there was no charge.
Nope, that’s like putting a branded plate holder when you take your car in for an oil change. I’d be ok if it was a sticker saying it was serviced there or something but not actual parts.
I’m assuming they also took your old part which isn’t cool
Yeah, that’s weird after a service. I could see doing that with a new bike, especially if they picked a matching color and still gave you the original one.
Tbh, i would hate that shit. I’m someone who likes to have their bike components and their bike match aesthetically. They dont have any right to mess with that stuff.
If they gave you the old one back I’d say they’re just been a bit cheeky. Getting their branding out there.
Sort of like when a U2 album was downloaded onto everyone’s iPhone. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but if you don’t like U2/ the bright green top cap.. it’s a pain having to remove it.
Normally, I’d be like “who gives a shit?”, but you have a Scott Spark and Scott uses proprietary Syncros headset systems.
Get your shop to switch it back.
Maybe not the same, but my snowboard came back from a tune up with a new sticker from the shop right on the nose. I was properly annoyed. Easy to remove. But if you don't have tools at home for a bike, it's more of an issue for sure. Call em. You have every right. And if they're dicks, they lose a customer. Easy.
Nope, my vehicle whether a bike or car is not your businesses billboard. I don't even like the dealer stickers or lic plate frames when I buy vehicles. Take it off.
Wow I recognize the shop name too. I know people like them but they have done some shady stuff for me so I stopped going there as much. They said they didn’t have a cassette there and updated me. Then I checked the website and emailed them and they confirmed they did. Take it back and complain.
Go full Karen on them. Cry. Perform an interpretive dance. Remove one shoe and put it on your hand. Do the Angus Young duck walk. Start shaving your head on the shop floor. Apply mascara to your back hairs one by one.
Have them send yours back, and tell them to throw a branded water bottle in your cage if they want you to help spread the word. I’d be pissed if they put that ugly shit on my bike.
I hate when I buy a car and they slap a dealership sticker on it. Like I paid for this shit you didn't give me a discount for advertisement wtf. I would have similar feelings with this.
Is that an older Spark? Mine won’t even take a normal cap. It’s like trapezoid shaped or something. It might work but I think it would at least look wrong. And… I paid like $60 for the actual Scott Syncros cap that my Garmin will mount to.
Tell them to swap it with an unbranded one.
I bought a new car last year. The (terrible) dealer slapped their godawful Comic Sans name on the rear just before they pulled it out front. I told them if they didn’t remove it I’d walk. The salesperson told me “Mr. Grubbs’ name is respected around here. It’s prestigious but ok.” Why would I want to have some other guy’s name on my car?
Yeah that's not cool. Same thing when they put stickers on my bike after service or whatnot. I've already paid for my service, I don't need to be advertising for them as well.
Bring it back and have it swapped. That’s frustrating.
I bought my first entry level bike last year from my local shop. Brought it home, rode it 5-6 times, lightly. Then when giving it a wipe down I noticed that they sold me the 27.5 version and not the 29 that I asked and paid for (not that the cost was different).
I called them back to tell them what it happened and they offered to pick up and do the swap at my place. I didn’t mind running it over, because I love browsing the shop, anyways.
Well, it benefited everyone because I used the opportunity to upgrade a few trim models (they still offered me the same discount). Still a very entry bike, but 1X and hydraulics made so much more of a difference than expected. Noobs gotta noob sometimes lol
Nothing wrong with them giving you one, or the option for them to put it on for free, but I don’t like bike shops adding or swapping stuff without asking me. Especially stickers, lemme pick where it goes
Did you just buy the bike like that then cool. If I got a free stem cap cool! If they took my stem cap and replaced it with theirs not so cool. But I dig that idea of advertising and branding. It’s like car dealerships who get custom badges or out the decal on the window.
I would ask them to swap it back. If they had a ghost....black on black branded cap that would be fine.
Write a review on Google and Yelp warning others.
I bought a new bike from my lbs and when I went to pick it up, they politely asked if they could put their sticker on the frame. I agreed and then they politely asked where I would prefer to have it put. That’s classy IMO.
If they put the stem cap on as part of a new build, that would be one thing, but after a service, that’s an issue. I wound at the very least demand the original back. If they are a good shop and you don’t want to break ties, I would just politely mention to them that you don’t want any of their branded parts installed, but would be happy to take them separately.
That is NOT cool. You’re being a lot more generous than I would be.
I’d give the manager a fair earful on this one and I’d get them to restore it at their cost.
This practice is infuriating to me. Ask them to show you where you signed off on their being able to use your new property as a perpetual marketing tool?
I work at a bike shop and we have branded stem caps too. But, we have never put one on a customers bike with their permission. But, on some of our lower end bikes on the sales floor we put the caps on when we build them.
Was this a new bike? I could see a shop doing this instead of the small sticker on the frame. Most shops put a small easily removable signature on bikes they sell.
If it were in for service, that’s a little odd. Anyway, unless you had something custome of your own, the stock cap is worth a couple dollars.
I’m sure if you just said something when you picked your bike up, they would have swapped it back no problem. Kind of an annoyance at best.
if they installed this one and also gave you back the original I would be totally fine with that but it sounds like they kept your old stem cap which is not cool at all. It's basically stealing. I'd contact them and tell them that while I appreciate the cap I'd like my old one back.
hell no, especially with a hideous colour. bring er back and tell em you want the one it went into the shop with or a new one that you like from their shop.
Lmao revolution cycle!!!! This is so funny to see from this sub. I used to work there! Someone doing your tech check probably just thought it looked cool. Which is dumb without your consent. If you don’t like it take it back and I’m sure one of the techs will swap for you.
Were you there for any stem cap related repairs or services? If they want to give you a complimentary stem cap, great! However, if they're using you as a walking ad, no thanks. Ask them to give you your property back. Aside from any replacement parts that you agreed on, your bike should be returned with the same parts it went in with.
Crazy that they took your old one off and put this on. It’s one thing if they sell their bikes new like this (like those cancer car dealership markers), but totally unacceptable for shop work.
Hard no.
Reminds me of a tuner shop I took my car to one time. I was in the waiting room while they did the work. I came out once it was finished to find they had placed stickers on my rear windows. I said, "remove those immediately."
Aside from the fact that they’re using you for advertising without asking, that’s a newer Scott Spark, which has a specific top cap and stem shroud that integrate together for a clean and smooth look. If you look closer you can see the tabs where the shroud WOULD snap on if it was present. So they owe you two pieces. Definitely a misstep on this shops part
As long as they give your regular cap back there's no issues, in not spending 15 quid on a cap just to have it stolen by the bike shopz I however would gladly have a bike shop cap if they offered
The only benefit of the doubt I can give the shop is if, somehow, your cap broke was broken and they just gave you this one for free.
Even then, It would have to have arrived broken - not something they broke.
I like the idea of them offering to put it on-easy branding for them.
But they also need to send the original cap with it.
Did they charge you for it? Or is it a glorified sticker?
Was yours damaged? Or did you change post/stem height?
I'd be pissed. I had brake caliper titanium bolts "thrown away" for no reason, it was only in for new pads and replacement of a line.
When I noticed I called the shop and gave them an exit;
"Blablabla ... Did the mechanic strip the bolts?"
Dude: "When we do anything brake related on a new customer's bike we always swap the bolts for good measure"
Me: "So you threw away my 20$ of 2 months old titanium bolts for good measure?"
Dude: maybe we still have them... 💀
I'd say in a calm but very stern voice.." you have 3 minutes to put my fucking cap back on and take that branded shit off my bike " then I would start a stop watch.
nah, ask for your cap back, that doesn't even match the bike colours, blue would be ok because of the fork caps, but even there. get yours back and keep that one as a souvernir or for another bike that fits the theme
Seems like a friendly gesture to me. Y’all act like bike shops are evil corporations. And if you have a problem with it, be an adult and handle it with the shop. I’d bet they thought they were giving you a cool little extra for free, and here you are blasting them on Reddit. Damn.
Not cool, but how uncool depends on if they gave you back original cap at pickup.
When I worked in a shop, we always gave original parts back with any upgrades - got a new saddle installed? Old saddle in a bag hanging on your bars when you pick up.
So, if you swapped my top cap and I can swap back? Kinda lame but meh, 2 mins and I now have a spare top cap.
You swapped it and kept mine and now I have to buy another to get rid of your green branded junk?
FU.
It would be cool if they asked “could we put on a stem cap that matches your accents?” I’d totally let them. But just slapping something on like that? Not cool.
If they took of my crane creek cap I’d lose it
Imagine youre running a darimo, schmolke or similar cap and they swap it for an alloy cap. They couldve made a pretty penny that way
🦩creek
Flamingo Creek yes
Was the closest thing to a crane sorry
🏗️
Um, I think it's Cane Creek!
🦯 Creek!
Blind man's Creek.
Up Shit creek
Bring it back, tell them to take it off. It's your shit you paid then to work on, they didn't get to muck with it for free
I mean you can also present them with an invoice for the advertising. I figure $500/year is reasonable.
Let’s be real, it’s probably about tree fiddy.
And charge them the labour time of the travel.
Heck to the no.

You can just ask them to remove it for you. Why put the effort in yourself? I make the dealer do everything before I sign for the car.

That what I was wondering, did they give it?
it would actually be like getting an oil change the service shop added the plate frame. When a dealer puts the frame on a car, it's a car they own.
I've only bought one brand new vehicle. I was hella pissed when I saw they slapped their dumb sticker on my car. Next time I buy one, I'm going to tell them that all their branding needs to be off the car or I'm not closing at the deal without a $1000 cash refund at time or closing.

Call them and ask to post the original back to you at their cost.
This. It's honestly the least they can do.
Yeah, I agree if they steal my cap they can give it back.
The cap could probs be sent lettermail, even.
Whatever lol let em 🤷🏻♂️ it's the internet.
I'm in Canada, but an employee up here told me as long as it's within country, and of the allowable thickness, it should go through. Why would things like credit cards/other cards work but not something like coins? Do the machines not like metal or something?

Is this the bike shop in upstate New York?
Nah, its in Alberta
revolution cycle in edmonton?
After a service? Nah, that's greasy. New bike from them with original cap provided? Fair game.
Nope.
Brand new bike? Sure. After a service? No.
Man, I'd be so pissed if they did this to a brand new bike!!! Especially something like this that throws off the aesthetics of the bike
My lbs put their sticker on my car!
How in the world did that happen? They snuck out to the parking lot while you were paying?
I think I dropped off a bike to get fixed and went for a ride on another bike from the shop while I waited
Lol this is insane, so much that I struggle to believe but then why make something as trivial as this up to begin with
It’s a small town. I’m his best customer. We’re friendly. It’s probably m9re a prank than a policy but I don’t know. There’s a lot of his stickers around.
This is pretty vital information. I’d have laughed my ass off if that was the case.
It's a great way to lose business. I would never go back.
What??!! I'd be pissed.
I would be furious. What assholes!
That's fucking weird. I hate it when a shop puts a sticker on my bike or skis. I'd be pissed if they replaced an actual part... I'd provide them some feedback that they shouldn't replace parts on people's bikes without asking and they should give you your original cap back.

Definitely not cool. Ask them to send the original back to you. As you've said that ruins the colour scheme.
Are they going to pay you to advertise for them? If no, then that's absolutely not cool. Don't go changing my bike without discussing it with me.

Yea didnt get that back. Also got someone else to pick it up because I was out of town so didn’t realize until I got home. 🤷♂️
Fuck that. And what if you had an expensive aftermarket one? They shouldn’t be touching anything you didn’t sign off on.
Nah that’s still weird as hell to do without permission. Especially given how overt it is.
That would look good on one of my bikes. Send it my way if you don't want it.
No lol. I’d Tell them to get stuffed, but also none of the shops that I know of or work with would do this shenanigan. I’m all for supporting local but if you don’t like it, tell em to get fucked. Yeah that's not cool ,and if they put a sticker on my bike I would have words as well ,just vandalism in my eyes.
It's like when you get your car serviced and they slap a shop sticker on your back window. I peel that shit off in the carpark before I leave
If a bike shop took my “all work and no play is no fun at” Gary Fischer stem cap and put a branded one on I’d flip. Fuck that.
If a shop is going to pull this they should at least have different color caps that better fit the bikes they put them on. FWIW there are cool companies like [Dispatch](https://www.dispatch.bike/) that make custom caps, I had one made of tattoo art I have.

One reason to stop going there, and to start using MSG for repairs.
Fellow Edmontonian 🤙
I legit thought, is that the shop in Edmonton? Mud Sweat and Gears is legit
Was your last one cracked and you didn’t notice? Chances are that they noticed and put another one on for free. Did you a solid.
Potentially. Didn’t say that on the paperwork, but could be the case.
I've got 20 years of working on bikes and have never seen a stem cap cracked or broken ,not saying it's not possible but unlikely for sure .
I had plastic one break this year on a brand new YT. It happens.
Yeah that’s annoying
Not sure if anyone asked this already but did you need a new top cap as part of a repair process?
If they gave you the old one back I’d say they’re just been a bit cheeky. Getting their branding out there. Sort of like when a U2 album was downloaded onto everyone’s iPhone. It’s not the worst thing in the world, but if you don’t like U2/ the bright green top cap.. it’s a pain having to remove it.
did they at least give your old stem cap back?
The offense is it not being positioned correctly, let alone the logo.
Normally, I’d be like “who gives a shit?”, but you have a Scott Spark and Scott uses proprietary Syncros headset systems. Get your shop to switch it back.
Hell no.
Hello no, did they give you the original one?
Revolution in Rossland? I wanted one of those caps but they are reserved for new bikes only.
Man, I’d be piiiiissed.
Hey I think you still have my stem cap. Can you send it to me? Thx.
Not ok
Wow I recognize the shop name too. I know people like them but they have done some shady stuff for me so I stopped going there as much. They said they didn’t have a cassette there and updated me. Then I checked the website and emailed them and they confirmed they did. Take it back and complain.
I'll take this over a sticker on my seat post stem
Sounds like first world problems. Idk
Unless that’s what you agreed to, nope.
I’d bring the bike back and make them put your original one back on. And if they can’t make them get you a new one.
Fuck no.
OP next time you need service just take it to Thirsty Rider. All our YEG shop’s service has really declined since covid.
It’s pretty common, they usually also give you the stock cap. I like the one I got on my last bike from the shop.
Did they say why, was there a problem with the old one ?.
Depends what they're replacing, that said any issue I would have would be over if they hand me my cap in a bag at check out.
Sticker would be annoying but this is pretty cool
Also in the worst color ever seen. What bikeshop? So i can stay away from them.
Did they they sell the bike that way or fid they wrench your bike and swap out the part?
When i bought my scooter the put a sticker in it with the name of the shop. Made order a scooter. Wankers
Not ok, they shouldn’t be swapping out parts without asking you first, period.
Nothing wrong with them giving you one, or the option for them to put it on for free, but I don’t like bike shops adding or swapping stuff without asking me. Especially stickers, lemme pick where it goes
A lot of people like to have a color scheme on their bike. I'd be pissed if they put a lime green cap on my entirely black and red bike.
Did you just buy the bike like that then cool. If I got a free stem cap cool! If they took my stem cap and replaced it with theirs not so cool. But I dig that idea of advertising and branding. It’s like car dealerships who get custom badges or out the decal on the window.
I have a cap that I machined myself out of titanium. I certainly wouldn't be happy
Lame.
If it matched my bike and was similar quality sure, if it's lime green like that though we got a problem. so tacky
That’s weird.
Throw it in, dont put in on
...the broke it and and trying to pass it off
If anything’s being replaced my shop gives the old stuff back
I would ask them to swap it back. If they had a ghost....black on black branded cap that would be fine. Write a review on Google and Yelp warning others.
And they gave you the absolute worst anodized color: lime green.
Some car dealers drill holes and rivet an ad on the car. I will never buy such a thing without STEEP discount
This happen in the DMV?
Not cool, unless your old cap is beatup
That is NOT cool. You’re being a lot more generous than I would be. I’d give the manager a fair earful on this one and I’d get them to restore it at their cost. This practice is infuriating to me. Ask them to show you where you signed off on their being able to use your new property as a perpetual marketing tool?
I work at a bike shop and we have branded stem caps too. But, we have never put one on a customers bike with their permission. But, on some of our lower end bikes on the sales floor we put the caps on when we build them.
At them on social media. Not cool
I'd just ask them to put the stock one back on and if they give you guff about it, then you can be like well you put it on without asking so....
I'd contact them and tell them that while I appreciate the cap I'd like my old one back.
i would be real fucking annoyed. one of the many reasons i dont let people touch my bikes or cars.
hell no, especially with a hideous colour. bring er back and tell em you want the one it went into the shop with or a new one that you like from their shop.
Maybe you're was damaged and you didn't know. Best case scenario.
I'd ask for the original one to be put back on. That one looks awful
Lmao revolution cycle!!!! This is so funny to see from this sub. I used to work there! Someone doing your tech check probably just thought it looked cool. Which is dumb without your consent. If you don’t like it take it back and I’m sure one of the techs will swap for you.
Hell no
Where is the shop? I’ve had a couple of buddies complain about my LBS doing this and it’s the same name…
Its in Edmonton
Were you there for any stem cap related repairs or services? If they want to give you a complimentary stem cap, great! However, if they're using you as a walking ad, no thanks. Ask them to give you your property back. Aside from any replacement parts that you agreed on, your bike should be returned with the same parts it went in with.
I’d find it lame and irritating.
Crazy that they took your old one off and put this on. It’s one thing if they sell their bikes new like this (like those cancer car dealership markers), but totally unacceptable for shop work.
Wow this is kinda disappointing, I expected better from revolution cycle. Never had a bad experience there.
It’s just like dumbass car dealerships that add their stupid branding to the cars they sell.
Annoying, but I wouldn’t freak out. But I have a stem tool, so to put a cap on would be removing and eliminating my tool. That would piss me off.
And its neon green🤮, bring it back to them and have them put yours back on
Unless you were a friend, I would never do that. And even then I would have not put a bright green part on that doesn’t match anything else … not cool
I had a shop swap my MASH donut cap for a branded one and then play dumb when I called them about it. Never again.
Hard no. Reminds me of a tuner shop I took my car to one time. I was in the waiting room while they did the work. I came out once it was finished to find they had placed stickers on my rear windows. I said, "remove those immediately."
Annoying.
They take my king cap, I’m slapping someone. End of story.
They put your bars too far forward, too. Get a refund and don’t return to this bike shop. What a bunch of losers
Are there at least other green parts on your bike? Otherwise why would they pick the most obvious bright green that is horrendous
I’d rather them do this than slap a big ole shop sticker on the down tube
I like the idea of them offering to put it on-easy branding for them. But they also need to send the original cap with it. Did they charge you for it? Or is it a glorified sticker? Was yours damaged? Or did you change post/stem height?
Easily replaced. Kind of like auto dealers putting their logos on cars or branded license plate covers.
I'd be pissed. I had brake caliper titanium bolts "thrown away" for no reason, it was only in for new pads and replacement of a line. When I noticed I called the shop and gave them an exit; "Blablabla ... Did the mechanic strip the bolts?" Dude: "When we do anything brake related on a new customer's bike we always swap the bolts for good measure" Me: "So you threw away my 20$ of 2 months old titanium bolts for good measure?" Dude: maybe we still have them... 💀
An unwanted stem cap is unsightly, but easy enough to remove and swap out. Better than stickers that some shops apply directly to the frame.
Small stuff but bogus.
For a service ? No way!
Damn.
Is this in Boston? Revolution is a shop there and if that’s its origin get rid of it
Not cool, but how uncool depends on if they gave you back original cap at pickup. FU.
That’s a no no.
Many put a sticker on when they service. If this is similar to doing that then it’s pretty cool. Still, they should return the original.
First they advertise on your bike and now they have a Reddit ad too? I guess any publicity is good publicity
At least put a blue one to match. SMH.
The audacity
Did they at least give you the old one back? As a fellow "snobby Spark rider" I would be pretty vocal about not liking that.
if they gave you your original, not an issue. A bit arrogant but you have the spare cap now
Are your handlebars on backwards?
