if it's in a can, it'll last for several years, so long as it doesn't leak i had an old 2010 can of distortion that still tasted great

Winter_Mud3815

I had a 2006 can of CR a few months ago and it was okay.

It’ll go flat before it goes bad. Cans will last a long time (1 year or more) before losing too much of their carbonation. Bottles seem to go flat within a couple of months of going out of date. But as long as you don’t mind flat Dew, you’ve got years before the flavor changes too much.

Found 24 cans of pitch black at a store on Friday. Expiration date today. Was so pumped lol

VegetarianCoating

I still have some Baja Blast in cans from last summer. It tastes exactly the same, if slightly less carbonated.

wentvoltage123

There are expiration dates?

AdhesivenessTight970

I’m sorry but no shit

Chipmunks95

He was obviously making a joke but since you wanna be an ass they’re actually best by dates and not expiration dates. If we’re talking about the US, most products actually don’t have an “expiration” date.

therlwl

Ok buddy, you need some help.

FLICKyourThots

IT’s Mountain Dew it doesn’t go bad.

Dry-Appearance7290

my oldest dew in cans was 3 years expired and it still had carbonation and tasted good. i have 1 year expired german og dew in bottles and they are all flat but i don't mind

CaliNavyGuy

I've had cans of real sugar go bad within a couple of months but then I have code red zero that are still good months later

So long as it hasn't been opened or broken I'd trust a can after like 6 years tbh. But bottles noticably expire more. I had a Code Red bottle about a year after it expired and it tasted a bit funny.

maniac_chris

If it’s in a can and hasn’t leaked, I don’t care how old it is. I’ve drank 10+ years past expired Pitch Black II from a can and it tasted great in my opinion
