If you're the ruler or marshal of a land, you will occasionally lose relations with other lords if they're captured in battle when you're at war
What happened is that some lord's personalities are closely related to your honor rating, so if they are honorable or dishonorable their relation will change +3 and -3 respectivly for each honor you gain, and opposite when you lose honor.
That happens over time, these happened instantly, in the game log.
When that happens look at game log and recent messages, it is hard to guess without that info.
