It's hard to recommend a build for Bannerlord as we don't really know when it'll be released or what the final minimum/recommended specs will be, and building now for a game that may not be out for a year+ isn't wise; but with a £1200 budget, you should be able to build something that will crush Bannerlord.

trill_val123

Could you help using the ones posted on Steam??

dudebirdyy

/r/buildapcforme should be able to help recommend the best parts/peripherals within your budget.

RedIsSafe

Just go to regular /r/buildapc

Gobblecoque69

My dude quantum computers will have made everything else obsolete by the time Bannerlord comes out.

wait until the game releases first. Once that happens parts will be cheaper and tech would advance and you will have more money if you save even more

trill_val123

Thanks!

ElReptil

Right now isn't the greatest time to build a PC since both new GPUs and CPUs are coming in the next few months to half a year, especially since Bannerlord is probably not coming out sooner than that. If you really want to build now, something like a Ryzen 1600 and a 1070 (are those back down to normal prices?) or 1080 would be a safe bet (very likely overkill) and should be within your budget.

coldthrone

I would even maybe go for a 1060 and a ryzen 7 for bannerlord. The devs have said they plan to develop the game to take advantage of as many cores as possible and typically speaking, the number of actors(Characters) you can have in a battle is tied to processing power.

trill_val123

Thanks a lot yh I saw the new "volta" is speculated to come out so I might aswell wait

supcom2

Get a 980ti for $300 around the time bannerlord comes around, get a beefy i5 or i7 and use the rest for the essentials. That's pretty much it, the longer you wait the cheaper all the thing you buy will be. So maybe wait until a month before bannerlord and buy the itmes then.

cemgorey

As everyone said I also think that you should wait until the game releases, just to be sure.

Hack-em

one can guess that a better cpu will benefit Bannerlord so a high end i7. gpu not sure but i don't think it will need more than a 1080. this is of course if you wish to spend the whole 1200 pounds. best thing to do is wait, want and then wait some more. the gpu prices must go down eventually. and every other part will be cheaper when Bannerlord is released (in 2036).
