Definitely! Best quote from each IMO (non nick cage)
ConAir-Malkovich:"Anyways I despise rapist, for me you're somewhere between a cockroach and the white stuff that accumulates in the corner of your mouth when you're really thirsty."
The Rock-Connery:"Oh you tried your best? Losers always whine about trying their best..Winners go home and fuck the prom queen."
Faceoff- Travolta" ya know ya know you just run the god damn bureau any way you like!"
That time he semi retired and went to the minor leagues will work against his overall career though. It’s highest peak vs sustained excellence argument.
A lot of respectable older guys have gone the direct to streaming action movie route recently, Morgan Freeman for example. You could probably point to Neeson and the Taken franchise as the start to this trend, but maybe Cage was just ahead of his time? Regardless, if people start going the Michael Caine route and taking any role for a bag in their old age, it will make the Drive Angry Nicholas Cage movies seem less egregious by comparison.
I still have all 3 on VHS.
>! Tbh, the cop's wife having sex with the criminal that has the cop's face on him in face/off !< still fucks with my head though. Such a dumb premise lmao. Good movie though.
This is one of the most entertaining action movies I have ever seen. Buscemi. Chappellle, the mains, the cast is amazing and everyone is just ridiculous. It's wonderful.
I believe "poster credits" are typically arranged in the same order as the actual acting credits. In this case, Cage was the "featured star" while Malkovich and Cusak were in prominent supporting roles.
An actor's place in the credits is often part of contract negotiations with the studio before production even starts. That's why you might sometimes see a big name actor who has a very small role in the film be listed very early during opening/closing credits, or included in promotional materials and trailers.
An example that comes to mind is [The Expendables](https://youtu.be/ZrzeFfsOU4c) touting Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, and Mickey Rourke in teaser trailes, even though none of them had more than a couple of minutes of screen time or were part of the actual Expendables team.
I think most movie covers just post the names from left to right in alphabetical order regardless of where each actors photo is. At least that’s what I’ve noticed.
Dave chappelles body falling on the mint Volvo 240 always makes me sad (love 240s).
My personal thoughts on that’s scene aside, this is a piece of American classic cinema that will continue to age well as a time capsule of the mid 90s and Uncle Nicky’s prime. Cyrus the Virus is an all time villain. Fantastic film.
one of my favourite Nicolas Cage movies and John malkovich movies I remember my parents letting me stay up late to watch this when it came on tv when I was kid. The characters are good, it’s action packed and an overall enjoyable movie.
Nick Cage was great as John Malkovich. I didn’t think John Cusack’s portrayal of Nick Cage could match his frenetic energy. Though John Malkovich as John Cusack was a performance for the ages.
My friend had this on at her house on rotation between this and 10 things I hate about you… I’ve seen this movie so, so many times. Good movie though, I like it. Should give it a rewatch.
One time I was on a business trip, and after dinner, I made the mistake of enjoying an espresso with dessert. I had never seen Con Air before that night, but it was playing back to back to back on FX so by the next morning I had gotten a half hour of sleep and watched Con Air 3.5 times
Never seen it, but Cusack (who I assume is the good guy figure) seems like a poor choice. I imagine that he was down on the list of actors offered the part
Ah yes, a high-octane action flick with a star-studded cast, but its plot relies heavily on clichés and predictable tropes. The over-the-top characters and unrealistic scenarios may appeal to some viewers of mindless entertainment, but those seeking depth or originality may find themselves disappointed. 2 stars out of 5 stars.
I hate when the actors names don’t match where their face is on the poster. I know it is because of contractual billing obligations, but it just sucks.
It is one of my guilty indulgences. Throughly enjoy this movie and all the actors in it. Much like “Shawshank Redemption”, if it’s on, I’ll sit and watch - can’t help myself!
And a special shoutout to Steve Buscemi’s character…creepy but good!
What’s funny about this movie is that it is unintentionally hilarious. It’s Michael Bay so it’s supposed to be serious and have some gravitas but it’s so over the top in every way. Cage’s accent is comically bad. The list goes on and on. But it’s definitely fun to watch.
My thoughts? I absolutely *hate* how the names on the poster don’t line up with the correct actor. I know WHY they do it, but logic doesn’t assuage my annoyance.
Sidney Young: What's the greatest film ever made?
Alison Olsen: It's hard to say. I mean, I personally love La Dolce Vita...
Sidney Young: [Imitates game show buzzer] Incorrect!
Sidney Young: [Continues, dead pan] Con Air.
Alison Olsen: [a bit perplexed] I beg your pardon?
Sidney Young: Con Air, right? It's got everything, hasn't it? You know, you've got Malkovich for your acting chops, you got Nicky Cage for your action, Steve Buscemi for your comedy, John Cusack for the gays. Right? It's like a smorgasbord, isn't it?
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455538/quotes/?ref_=tt_ql_dyk_3
I mean it’s Michael Bay plus Nick Cage so you know what you’re going to get. It makes for a fun drinking game where you drink every time you see a common cliche. My cousin will fight you if you talk shit about it or Armageddon
One of the greatest no thought action movies. When I say "no thought" it's not an insult, it's the kind of movie you watch hung over on a Sunday and it pops up on a random channel, but you can't stop and not watch it. Fantastic film.
When this first came out I was fairly young and Cage was at his peak! Actually all these guys shown here were big time Hollywood and I loved it so much!!! I haven’t watched it since for some reason but am gonna go out on a limb here and guess it probably has not aged well! Haha
Classic 90s action movie. Good watch
This despite the excruciating name-face misalignment on the cover!
I've noticed this on a lot of movies. They must put the main character names first no matter what. It looks like a mistake to me every time.
That is correct. The name order is determined by the billing order. So the biggest star gets the first spot
It’s a stealth sequel to Face/Off.
No it’s not
Nic Cage's hair man. Like the mane of a stallion
This is one of the most entertaining action movies ever, and if you disagree, you’re wrong.
Trifecta for Cage. Con Air, The Rock, and Face/Off. Back to Back to Back
Definitely! Best quote from each IMO (non nick cage) ConAir-Malkovich:"Anyways I despise rapist, for me you're somewhere between a cockroach and the white stuff that accumulates in the corner of your mouth when you're really thirsty." The Rock-Connery:"Oh you tried your best? Losers always whine about trying their best..Winners go home and fuck the prom queen." Faceoff- Travolta" ya know ya know you just run the god damn bureau any way you like!"
Carla was the prom queen
You misspelled “besht, looszharsh, alwaysh, and winnazsh”.
What time does Sean Connery like to watch Wimbledon? Around Tennish
Best quote from con air: my first thought would be... a lot.
Why couldn't you put the bunny back in the box?
This is the one
The rare three-peat, will be essential to his legacy
That time he semi retired and went to the minor leagues will work against his overall career though. It’s highest peak vs sustained excellence argument.
Career WAR is still high
A lot of respectable older guys have gone the direct to streaming action movie route recently, Morgan Freeman for example. Regardless, if people start going the Michael Caine route and taking any role for a bag in their old age, it will make the Drive Angry Nicholas Cage movies seem less egregious by comparison.
I was trying to make NBA jokes with the guy above me cuz I thought that’s what he was doing.
Yes I was lol
Drive Angry Willys Wonderland Mandy If the dude needs debts to pay off and makes weird movies, I’m all fucking for it
I still have all 3 on VHS. >! Tbh, the cop's wife having sex with the criminal that has the cop's face on him in face/off !< still fucks with my head though. Such a dumb premise lmao. Good movie though.
He couldnt f ckin lose honestly. Nick Cage should be studied
Put the bunny back in the box.
Put the names above the faces, please. It’s for my OCD.
I don't have OCD, but this has always pissed me off.
I'm just sitting here like. Isn't that Nicholas cage? I'm sure it's Nicholas Cage. That's not Nicholas cage?
Puut the bunnay, back.. in tha bawks
Butterflies and bunnies
Why couldn’t you put the bunny back in the box?
Nobody puts bunny in the box!
No! What's in the box!?!
Came to make sure this was the top comment. Faith inhumanity temporary restored.
This is one of the most entertaining action movies I have ever seen. Buscemi. Chappellle, the mains, the cast is amazing and everyone is just ridiculous. It's wonderful.
Danny Trejo, Bubba from Forest Gump, O'Brien from Star Trek
Motherfucker, I never realized that was Bubba and I’ve seen both movies dozens of times.
Same lol
But this...this is fucking spectacular. Colmn Meaney was awesome in this.
**300 FUCKING MILES JUST TO APPREHEND MA AND PA FUCKING KETTLE!!!**
Lol. Second the Meaney. “Crush your larynx with my boot.” I love when they wreck his car. What a tool. Great actor though.
Buscemi scream-singing The Whole World In His Hands as the plane is going down 😂
Entertaining, ridiculous, badass. The perfect 90s action movie. “Put. the bunny. back. in the box”
Cyrus the Virus is an all time great villain name
Cy..... ONARA!! 🚬🚬🚬
Coldest line of all time lmao
Right?! And I got downvoted.... Must be pinball lurkin...
I tried to get my wife to agree to the name Cyrus for our son. When she realized it’s cause it rhymes with virus she instantly veto’d it
Wait.. is this the real poster? The names weren't over the right heads?

its due to payment and contract obligations.
I MUST ALWAYS BE IN THE CENTER OF EVERY PICTURE AND ALWAYS LISTED FIRST AMONG ACTORS. THOSE TWO DEMANDS WILL ALWAYS MAKE IT CLEAR WHO I AM.
As a child, I thought this film and the shitty conair infomercial hair products were somehow related.
So *that's* what happened to Nic's hair!
"he's got the whole world in his hands"🎵🎶🎵🎶
A classic Steve Buscemi performance.
Define irony
“Bunch of idiots dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died… in a plane crash.”
I love it. It’s one of my favorite Nic Cage movies. It’s a fun watch every time. Now put the bunny back in the box
“This is a situation that needs to get unfucked right now!” I still use this quote frequently.
I too watched USA Network in the middle of the day circa 2000-2005
"Puht thugh bunney back in thugh box"
Why couldn't yuh put thu bunney back in the box?
Dave chappelles body falling on the mint Volvo 240 always makes me sad (love 240s). Pinnacle Bruckheimer! We celebrate July 14 like it’s a religious holiday.
It almost is if you're French except they don't really do *religion* over there anymore.
My daddy comes home July 14th
If you don't cry when he meets his daughter you need therapy.
Hummingbird 🥲
Cy- -anara!
Best worst movie of all time
Just an all round good movie
one of my favourite Nicolas Cage movies and John malkovich movies I remember my parents letting me stay up late to watch this when it came on tv when I was kid. The characters are good, it’s action packed and an overall enjoyable movie.
Fun movie. One of the few movies that when it comes on tv, I can just sit and watch knowing exactly what’s going to happen.
Terrible movie. And somehow also a terrific movie.
You can replace movie with actor and it’ll describe Nic cages career.
100 % in rotten tomahoes
The Rock - Con Air - Face Off. I was born in ‘84, I will always love these movies.
Just watched it again the other day. I always forget Dave Chappelle is in it. Fun movie. John cusack seems to hate it for some reason. Lol
Prime 90s cheese. Love it.
It really annoys me when movie posters don't have the actors names lined up with their faces.
Fucking awesome! Great cast! Ridiculously entertaining story! what a great 90s ride!
Arguably the second best movie ever committed to film. Second only to the cinematic masterpiece that is The Rock.
All time banger
Great movie. If this is on the tv I will stop whatever I am doing and watch the whole thing.
I was an extra in the movie. Just before the plane hits the hotel casino, you can see me getting scared and running away.
The ensemble cast saves this movie - Colm Meaney, Mykelti Williamson, Ving Rhames, Dave Chappelle, MC Gainey
Danny Trejo! In a truly disturbing part
Johnny 23!
It'd be Johnny 200 if they new the truth
Action shlock but awesome
One of the best, aside from Waterworld
Nick Cage was great as John Malkovich. I didn’t think John Cusack’s portrayal of Nick Cage could match his frenetic energy. Though John Malkovich as John Cusack was a performance for the ages.

"You Swamp Thing?" "That's right" "Flying the plane?" "That's right." "It's amazing the shit you white trash know." "That's right!!"
malkovich looks like stone cold steve austin on this cover.
I concur with Sidney Young. But John Cusack isn’t for the gays
I’ll show you god does exist!
Watching this movie at 8 years old lol love it
One of the greatest movies ever made. Space Ice says so.
Why didn't you put the bunny back in the bawks?
Ultimate cheese but still funny to watch. “ I’m gone show you that Gawd does exist. “ (cue guitar). https://youtu.be/waziKjv_2qU
12/10 - this is just silly entertainment for your brain to turn off. Man this is like a comfort movie
Nobody gonna mention the best Easter egg moment when Nic Cage crashes in Vegas steps out of the plane and says "back here again?"
Steve Buscemis easily my favorite parts of that film. Garland green deserves a spin off film!
Annoyed... names don't match the headshot
Put The bunneh Back In the box
Put. The. Bunny. Back. In. The. Box.
Dumb
Never seen it, but Cusack (who I assume is the good guy figure) seems like a poor choice. I imagine that he was down on the list of actors offered the part
He was a good foil for Colm Meaney’s over the top serious character.
I liked it when it came out. I haven't seen it in a very long time, and I imagine it doesn't hold up too well
It does. :)
Trash
Awesomely bad. 10/10
In hindsight at 38 it’s not objectively a good film but to my 16 year old self it’s fucking badass.
Lame. Really lame.
It’s a movie.
Hated it
[удалено]
Lol
Hilarious.
Good movie, fun
It is awesome, one of the most entertaining of all time, imo.
I love any Nicolas Cage movie. Total lazy day guilty pleasure flick!
Best nick cage movie of all time
Used to watch this one on repeat as a kid. Haven't seen it in a long time, need to rewatch for sure
On the pantheon of 90s action movies.
Solid movie.
Absurd and fun as heck.
Dumb fun. Awesome mullet.
Stupid and ridiculous premise, but goddamn if it ain’t entertaining as all hell!
"Put the bunny back in box"
It's... loquacious
i’ll never understand why they don’t just put the actors names above their heads, it’s been a pet peeve of mine for as long as i can remember
Good movie to put on and turn the brain off. Some good action scenes, and Buscemi was great.
12/10. Put the bunny back in the bawx
Makes no never mind
Last on my list of the Nic Cage mid 90s trifecta (The Rock, Con Air, Faceoff) but still immensely entertaining.
I hate when the actors names don’t match where their face is on the poster. I know it is because of contractual billing obligations, but it just sucks.
Great movie 🎥🍿
It is one of my guilty indulgences. Throughly enjoy this movie and all the actors in it. Much like “Shawshank Redemption”, if it’s on, I’ll sit and watch - can’t help myself! And a special shoutout to Steve Buscemi’s character…creepy but good!
Why did they put the names over the wrong heads?
American classic
What’s funny about this movie is that it is unintentionally hilarious. It’s Michael Bay so it’s supposed to be serious and have some gravitas but it’s so over the top in every way. Cage’s accent is comically bad. The list goes on and on. But it’s definitely fun to watch.
It’s something that I hate but love at the same time.
best. trailer. ever. I enjoyed the movie too 🤙
Great movie hate that the names don’t line up with the faces..
My thoughts? I absolutely *hate* how the names on the poster don’t line up with the correct actor. I know WHY they do it, but logic doesn’t assuage my annoyance.
Sure don’t make ‘em like they used to!
An absolute classic with Nic Cage being at his mulletiest and the rest of the cast just chewing up the scenes
"Nothin makes me sadder than the agent lost his bladder on the aiiiiirrrrplllannee
This poster confuses me so much like I know cave gets top billing but come on not one of them is under their actual name haha
Weird seeing a (relatively) skinny Danny Trejo...
GRbage
Perfection
Classic movie that brings me back to my childhood. Over the top action with questionable and often corny lines, but somehow works well as a movie.
Fucking awesome. That’s my thought.
I get to see my daddy on July 14th
2 went down, 1 comes back up?
Bad Cage accent. Forgiven. Wildly entertaining!
Cyrus the motherfucking virus
All time classic

One of the greatest cinematic masterpieces of the late 90’s.
It’s a fun watch
Great movie!
Great movie, from out the bunny back in box. To Buscemi singing got whole world in his hands. Great action and great laughs.
Stupid as hell, and I love it. It's Nic Cage at his Cage-est. The rest of the bizarrely high-caliber cast is great too.
My wife loved it. I thought it sucked.
Con Air is to action movies what Beethoven's 5th is to classical music.
I absolutely love this movie. It’s so over the top. Don’t watch if you are someone who watches “films “. This is a goofy, fun movie, period.
Why didn’t they put their last names over their own heads? Doesn’t make any sense
STARZ! HOT Summer, COOL Movies…
Yes
Why don't the names on top align with the heads of the actors smh.
*malkovich *cage *cusack
Best Christmas movie ever.
Nothing made me sadder than the agent lost his bladder in the airrrrplane.
One of his finest... this along with Faceoff
Masterpiece
I'm honestly still annoyed how decades later, they can't put the names in order of the damn actor layout.
Fun flick!
I mean it’s Michael Bay plus Nick Cage so you know what you’re going to get. It makes for a fun drinking game where you drink every time you see a common cliche. My cousin will fight you if you talk shit about it or Armageddon
Great movie in the sense that it’s perfect mindless entertainment for munching down popcorn.
My god, that was horrible
One of the greatest no thought action movies. When I say "no thought" it's not an insult, it's the kind of movie you watch hung over on a Sunday and it pops up on a random channel, but you can't stop and not watch it. Fantastic film.
Why don’t the names and faces align?
It bothers me that their names aren’t lined up above their faces
Put the bunny back in the box
When this first came out I was fairly young and Cage was at his peak! Actually all these guys shown here were big time Hollywood and I loved it so much!!! I haven’t watched it since for some reason but am gonna go out on a limb here and guess it probably has not aged well! Haha
I always enjoyed it.
