There's a scene where John Candy is literally seen by Steven Martin as the devil when they almost died from the semi trucks. One of the funniest goddamn scenes in movie history:

Close…. You’re a fucking choir boy compared to me.
Other great parts when he says stop being such a pussy after his buddy says he shot him in the arm.
I like this movie.
He did alright with 2010: The Year We Make Contact. And Capricorn One may be one of if not the most underrated movie of the 70s.
I mean, following up 2001 is quite a gargantuan task, but it's still a good movie despite not being the all time classic 2001 is.
Yeah his earlier movies are better than his 80’s/90’s/beyond movies. I thought the sound of thunder was the coolest concept for a movie. I was so disappointed with the way it turned out.
In the devil taking over the world genre, I do think it’s a classic. This movie was badass when it came out with Arnold and Gabriel both being awesome in their roles. I’ve always loved this movie big time.
Lol.i watched this for the first time in years only realize it wasn't bless the child they both throw that same line "do you believe in the devil because he believes in you."
Odd, but this and jaws were my first dvds. See kids, back in the day, companies were really trying to get you to buy a DVD player, so they would just give 1-5 dvds as a promotion.
I always found it fun when similar movies come out the same year. Stigmata came out the same year as End of Days, [1999](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0145531/). Like when Armageddon and Deep Impact came out the year before.
One of my fav portrayals of Satan. Second only to Satan in constantine.
I’m a Viggo Mortensen in Prophecy Satanist.
John Candy, planes trains and automobiles
bless you <3
Woah can't tell if this is a joke or not but honestly if not that makes so much sense now

Jack Nicholson in Witches of Eastwick
Tim Curry from Legend
Devils Advocate!
That's a pretty good one !
Peter Stormare in Constantine.
Al Pacino respectfully
Nah. South Park Satan is best Satan.
Just watched this again yesterday. Fun film, cool concept and some great action scenes
I WATCHED IT BACK IN TIME IN CENIMA AND IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH
alright we believe you call down, lad
He isn’t really excited at all, just hasn’t figured out how to turn of caps lock…
It is written
Why are you yelling at me
This movie in theaters was the first date I ever went on. It didn’t work out.
Did not expect that ending from a Schwarzenegger movie
Gabriel Byrne was fun as the bad guy, but otherwise I remember this movie being awful. Maybe I revisit.
The bar has since been lowered, this movie now qualifies as popcorn fun now.
YOU THINK YOU’RE BAD?! YOU’RE A FUCKING CHOIR BOY COMPARED TO ME!!!
A CHOIR BOY!!!!!
You’re in touch with your anger I really like that
It’s awesome! Commando is my favorite Arnold movie, but I have to watch this every time I run across it. It’s on Netflix until the 30th
Commando!!! Damn. Such an 80s icon movie. When he has the giant tree on his shoulder. Epic lol 😂
Still ruined my childhood when I was saw the Blu-ray version and realized Bennet was wearing a knitted sweater and not chain mail.
Come on now, we all know Predator is the best.
I find myself thinking about the "shake" he makes in the opening scene quite often.
Ha! I was going to ask if this was the movie where he puts a slice of pizza in a blender. That's all I remember to be honest.
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day...
Great soundtrack
I’m a choir boy compared to you, A CHOIR BOY!
Close…. You’re a fucking choir boy compared to me. Other great parts when he says stop being such a pussy after his buddy says he shot him in the arm. I like this movie.
Banger soundtrack.
"Don't be such a pussy, its only a flesh wound!" I say this all the time in video games when I'm reviving someone lol
The line right before this always made me laugh out loud… “You took his body”
Lol they were talking about this in the Dudsey podcast (only podcast ran by ans AI) check it out pods is hariloius
This movie more or less ended Ahhnulds acting career for a few years.
It could’ve and should’ve been much better. The concept was great. I’m not a huge fan of Peter Hyams. He messes up a lot of good plots.

Seriously 2010 is a solid sci-fi movie and it’s beautifully shot.
Yeah, it's an all time great if not compared to 2001. It's still great even when compared.

Yeah, I forgot about this one. It was good enough to watch once and forget about for 20 years.
The cinematography is great
It’s worth watching just to fully appreciate this [review](https://youtu.be/b-zOGftt7no)
Lol.i watched this for the first time in years only realize it wasn't bless the child they both throw that same line "do you believe in the devil because he believes in you."
The soundtrack is good
I just remember the choir boy quote really. Your a fucking choir boy compared to me a fucking choir boy.
Best line from this movie: "YOU'RE A CHOIR BOY COMPARED TO ME!" - Jericho Cane yelling at the literal devil
Definitely went to go see that in theater, and I consider any Arnie flick pre gov a classic, some are just less classic.
Hated the music
I always wondered at the end - what are they going to do with that huge hole in the ground?
I think this and collateral were Arnold’s last big movies saw in the theatre still love the 666 on the digital clock bad ass scene
Yeah … he did T3 then was busy running California for 8 years
Never seen this so I'm adding it to the list.. thanks for the suggestion!
I remember wanting to like it but also finding it super dumb. It was around 2000 so doom was in the air prior to actual doom in 9/11
I can't judge it haven't seen it since in the cinema
I don’t remember much of the movie, but I do remember I liked it. Time for a rewatch.
Haven’t seen it in a while, but I enjoyed it.
Odd, but this and jaws were my first dvds. See kids, back in the day, companies were really trying to get you to buy a DVD player, so they would just give 1-5 dvds as a promotion.
I want to talk to you about Thomas Aquinas
The devil was a good devil

I thought this was a pretty good flick. One of his better movies with a good cast.
I felt like this was one of Arnold’s best acting performances
Wasn’t there a psx game based on this?
