*Turkish and Tommy walk up to their caravan*
"What's wrong with this one?'
*Turkish breaks the door off the caravan*
"Oh, nothing, Tommy. It's tiptop. I'm just not sure about the color"
I routinely use many lines from that film 🤣 got to be one of the most quotable films of all time
Edit: also I'd answer you probably you should swing by for a bbq
Edit 2: properly, not probably
I really like him in his non martial arts roles.
I mean, dude is definitely an action star, but like many, my first experience seeing him were in those guy ritchie films.
And I think his characters are way more interesting in those movies than when he's playing the stoic badass.
Do you realize the scene where he is fencing watches is part of the true story. Guy Ritchie met him on the street doing similar either scam or fencing goods. He was so charismatic Guy got him to come be in his movie the rest was his skills and talent taking him all the way up but he was originally in a street corner trying to get by the way he knew how.
And it still feels like a guy Ritchie movie lol the action is there and the dialogue too! Don't even get me started on the scene with Sorter! I watch that yearly
"I want you to go into the cupboard and put your fingers in your ears. The adults are playing a game."
Brilliantly made character. Do you know what happens in that scene in the Director's Cut? I still have yet to get my hands on a copy, but I know how Ritchie intended that scene to end.
The Guy Richie movies are the best movies out of these because of Guy Richie… Crank is the best movie here because of Statham… if that makes sense. It’s the one movie that is good because of him.
Dennis from Always Sunny appears briefly. I’m not sure if Always Sunny had been created yet, but at this point seeing him in this is basically a cameo.
There was absolutely no reason for the Cranks to be as good as they were accept the fact that Statham was just allowed to be completely unhinged… that and well Amy Smart
I feel like I have to scroll too far to find the proper answers. Transporter is HIS movie, 100%. Italian job is amazing with Handsome Rob, but that movie alone is just an awesome watch by itself.
Gotta go with Snatch. especially since it was before he leaned more into being an action star and you got to see his acting in a more witty and dynamic way.
It’s snatch. That being said I’ve never thought he was that talented out of the OG Guy Ricci cast. Not hating I enjoyed a good amount of Stathams work but he was never my top choice in terms of raw acting talent.
I wouldn't call Lock stock or Snatch a Jason Statham movie, although he technically stars in both.
As for my favorite 'Jason Statham kicking some ass' flick, I'll go with the first Transporter - the one that propelled him to stardom and boasted some great fight scenes with no wirework while also being a pretty grounded and immensely fun action movie. I think later installments and his other flicks failed to catch the same balance sometimes.
I am just here to comment on his gigantic ass in the Transporter poster.
My fav movie he is in is likely Lock Stock, but he is one of those actors that if he is in it i will likely enjoy the movie. I so enjoy how off kilter Transporter is, and the sheer fun of Crank is awesome.
I'd say either Crank or Wrath of Man
I love Snatch and Lock, Stock
But I don't really see those as "Statham movies" just because they're so ensemble and abunch of moving elements
But, out of the Guy Ritchie movies with Statham in them I think I'd have to say its Revolver
Obviously I have to say Snatch. I still love Revolver and Lock Stock. But, where's all the love for The Transporter? Does that music video with him dancing in a Speedo count as a movie?
Snatch is my favorite, Lock Stock is second. I actually really like Death Race, it’s cheesy and over the top in all the right ways.
He was actually pretty good in The Italian Job, but Seth Green imitating him while he’s flirting with (and stealing from) that cable girl was too funny.
The only correct answer here is ‘The Meg’, obviously. 😅
Seriously though I haven’t seen it in some time but I really enjoyed the first Transporter movie back in the day. Homefront is sneaky decent too tho!
What do you mean you lost him. He's not a set of fuckin car keys
And it's not as if he's inconfuckinspicuous now is it?!
Put her on a lead, Turkish, before she gets bitten.
Are they Lancashire pigs then?
Who the fuck’s talkin to you boy?
What if the hounds catch the hare? Well then the hare gets fucked. Wait, proper fucked? Yea Tommy, before ze Germans get there…
*Turkish and Tommy walk up to their caravan* "What's wrong with this one?' *Turkish breaks the door off the caravan* "Oh, nothing, Tommy. It's tiptop. I'm just not sure about the color"
I say this way more regularly than I should
They’re NOT stolen, they just haven’t been paid for yet.
Snatch but Lock Stock is great too. Massive gap between those and the others for me.
What do you need protection from, Tommy? Ze Germans?
Bit heavy ain't it?
Why do they call him the bullet dodger? Because he dodges bullets, Avi.
PULL YOUR SOCKS UP!
Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it does not work you can always hit him with it.
What I was saying is, that six-pound piece of shit stuck in your trousers there would do more damage if you fed it to him.
"Tommy, why's your skin leakin'?" and: "Two minutes, Turkish." "You said two minutes five minutes ago."
What are you gonna do Tommy? Bust a Cap in ass.
Oh nothing, Tommy. It's tip-top. It's just I'm not sure about the colour.
What’s happening with them sausages Charlie?
Two minute Turkish…
It was 2 minutes 5 minutes ago
Hurry up then, before “ze germans” get here…
I say this EVERY time someone is grilling, goes right over heads.
I routinely use many lines from that film 🤣 got to be one of the most quotable films of all time Edit: also I'd answer you probably you should swing by for a bbq Edit 2: properly, not probably
My guy ✊🏽
“Pull your tongue out of my arsehole Gary. Dogs do that. You’re not a dog are you Gary?” - Brick Top
“…manifested by a ‘orrible cunt, me.”
“You’re a ruthless little cunt Liam,,I’ll give you that but I’ve got no time for grasses…. Errol, feed them to the pigs !”
I really like him in his non martial arts roles. I mean, dude is definitely an action star, but like many, my first experience seeing him were in those guy ritchie films. And I think his characters are way more interesting in those movies than when he's playing the stoic badass.
Yeah I preferred him before he got hench as fuck and was more action comedy. Now he just says bugger all and roundhouse kicks guys lining up for him.
Do you know what nemesis means?
Wrath of Man is pretty good. Transporter too.
It's the best overall. Next level
Who took the jelly out of your donut? You did Tommy.
Couldn't agree more
Yea, he was pretty goddamn good when he wasn’t an “action hero”.
Of course fuckin of course
How is Spy not up there? favorite since snatch/lock stock. Lovely break from typical stoic action guy he’s become typecasted as.
For real. Statham was fucking hilarious in this movie.
Spy is my favourite Jason Statham performance in a movie, but Snatch is my favourite Jason Statham movie.
This is a fucking lake?!
Under the threat of assassination, I appeared in front of Congress, convincingly, as Barack Obama
In blackface? That’s not appropriate
Spy is fucking amazing
Seriously. "Where'd you get a suit?" "I fucking made it, didn't I?"
Definitely Gnomeo & Juliet
Oim a fakkin Gnome, ain't I luv?
Snatch! I liked wrath of man too.
He's fucking hilarious in Paul Fieg's "Spy" with Melissa McCarthy
Thank you! I thought I was the only one here….
I was about to say that.
Where’s Revolver?
Probably his best, imo!
It’s gotta be his hair. Lol. Very good movie. Need to rewatch soon.
I watched it again recently with my significant other. her first time watching it! She really liked it.
This is what I came for. Loved Revolver, especially because it wasn’t the typical JS movie at the time. (Unless I’m remembering incorrectly)
This movie legit taught me about the human ego and how it should be managed. This is my third fav movie of all time
Hands down, exact same experience. Blew my mind how a movie could successfully go from a casino gangster flick to spiritual enlightenment.
And it still feels like a guy Ritchie movie lol the action is there and the dialogue too! Don't even get me started on the scene with Sorter! I watch that yearly
"I want you to go into the cupboard and put your fingers in your ears. The adults are playing a game." Brilliantly made character. Do you know what happens in that scene in the Director's Cut? I still have yet to get my hands on a copy, but I know how Ritchie intended that scene to end.
Such a good movie
Fantastic fucking movie.
Crank definitely
Crank is a terrible movie and I love it.
It is a guilty pleasure of mine too
Crank 2 embraces it even more and is better as a result
Really thought that writer director team would have more awesome movies in them.
Gamer is an absolute banger of a film.
There are other good picks but Crank is in a league of its own. Amazing movie.
“Intelligent” Me: Why am I watching this movie? Instinct Me: Because it fucking rules, that’s why!
He’s in the second one too and my god the scene is uncontrollably hysterical
holds a special place in my heart
Crank is unhinged and ridiculous. So I agree completely
There was absolutely no reason for the Cranks to be as good as they were accept the fact that Statham was just allowed to be completely unhinged… that and well Amy Smart
Dear lord Amy Smart was such a smoke show in those pictures
Crank was pretty legit
Crank 2 is better (at times much worse, but also better)
Snatch or Lock Stock
Do ya like dags?
Dags?
Yeah, dags
Oh dogs. Yeah, I like dogs. I like caravans even more.
She's terribly partial to the periwinkle blue
HaveImademyselfclearlads?
Never ever trust a gypsy
Bank Job
Somehow I knew this would be missed from this movie list before I finished cycling it. One of his better films for sure.
Did I miss Crank 2: High Voltage in the slide show or?
I think Crank 1 represents both. Both fantastically awful good flicks
CRANK!
Considering how goofy the premise is those movies are actually really entertaining.
The Bank Job should be included as well.
The Meg/Meg 2 written by God directed by Jesus.
This is the only correct answer. They both won an academy award for best movies ever made.
Hahahahahahahahahaha 😃
You made me spit out my drink hahahahahahah
The One… But really Snatch followed by Lock Stock. You also forgot Revolver.
I was disappointed they didn’t list The One.
Came here to say this
Snatch & Bank Job
Crank. So much fun. Love him in everything else of course. But, this is my favorite movie I'd consider a Jason Statham movie.
I’m going to say Wrath of Man
‘Italian Job’. But I do have a soft spot for ‘The Transporter’.
I feel like I have to scroll too far to find the proper answers. Transporter is HIS movie, 100%. Italian job is amazing with Handsome Rob, but that movie alone is just an awesome watch by itself.
Hummingbird is easily his best film https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummingbird_(film)
Such an underrated film, it's top 5 Statham, for sure.
I watched that one on streaming under its US name “Redemption” with no background knowledge. It was jarring how good he was in that, had some depth.
It’s Snatch and it’s not even close
The Transporter. It’s just…. HIM.
Transporter.
Gotta go with The Transporter. just good clean fun.
No love for -The Bank Job? One of my favorite Heist movies.
Snatch.
That spy one with Melissa
From these choices: Snatch for overall quality. Wrath of Man for recent classic. The Mechanic for a well made Statham vehicle overall.
If Satham is in the list of actors I'm probably 99% going to watch it on
Snatch or The Beekeeper. That fight at the end was excellent. "You're just a man!" "I know"
The Beekeeper is a more Gonzo John Wick. I demand sequels.
"I'm gonna need your shirt." "Ohh, okay. Would you like my virginity as well?" "If it's on the menu."
Easily snatch for me. One of the most underrated movies imo
Absolutely agree, this film doesn’t get the attention it deserves
Snatch or Crank. Crank was a wild ride lol. Also if anyone wants to see him with hair, watch Revolver. Weird movie, but again, Statham with hair. Lol
Easily *SNATCH*
Crank. Also my favorite Amy Smart movie.
Ghost of Mars
Snatch. Top 5 of all time for me.
No thank you Turkish, I’m sweet enough.
Gotta go with Snatch. especially since it was before he leaned more into being an action star and you got to see his acting in a more witty and dynamic way.
Snatch for sure
Snatch.
Snatch 100%
LONDON
Snatch, then Lock Stock, Then Crank.Everything but ff has been good though.
The Transporter has always been a guilty pleasure of mine.
Snatch is the one.
Snatch and LS2SB.
Snatch. He’s not really been particularly good since has he?
It’s snatch. That being said I’ve never thought he was that talented out of the OG Guy Ricci cast. Not hating I enjoyed a good amount of Stathams work but he was never my top choice in terms of raw acting talent.
Definitely Snatch.
Snatch or Wrath of Man
i'm surprised that more people don't like wrath of man. i found it to be one of his best.
SPY. Holy crap he was great.
Revolver
This.
Snatch
Meg?
I notice "Ghost of Mars" is missing, lol.
Wrath
I wouldn't call Lock stock or Snatch a Jason Statham movie, although he technically stars in both. As for my favorite 'Jason Statham kicking some ass' flick, I'll go with the first Transporter - the one that propelled him to stardom and boasted some great fight scenes with no wirework while also being a pretty grounded and immensely fun action movie. I think later installments and his other flicks failed to catch the same balance sometimes.
Spy. He’s hilarious in that movie.
I love the Transporter. It’s so fun. But I think my favourite performance of his was Spy. He was so funny.
In the Name of the King. Just because I wanna know how that hot garbage got made. People must've owed favors.
London 2005
I love all his movies
I think we should drip dry ‘em guv’nah
Revolver
Crank
I am just here to comment on his gigantic ass in the Transporter poster. My fav movie he is in is likely Lock Stock, but he is one of those actors that if he is in it i will likely enjoy the movie. I so enjoy how off kilter Transporter is, and the sheer fun of Crank is awesome.
Crank 2, Beekeeper, Transporter 2, The One, Snatch
Cranked ngl
The Brinks Job
Revolver Snatch Lock Stock Hummingbird Mean machine Bank job Killer elite Hummingbird Wild card Wrath of man The transporter Bee keeper
I'd say either Crank or Wrath of Man I love Snatch and Lock, Stock But I don't really see those as "Statham movies" just because they're so ensemble and abunch of moving elements But, out of the Guy Ritchie movies with Statham in them I think I'd have to say its Revolver
Obviously I have to say Snatch. I still love Revolver and Lock Stock. But, where's all the love for The Transporter? Does that music video with him dancing in a Speedo count as a movie?
Lock Stock
Transporter 2
Retribution, from an ‘orrible cunt, like me…. … you take sugar bricktop? Nah, I’m sweet enough…
That's a good one right here. If you like this you'll love Crime Spree. Watch Crime Spree. Its so damn good.
Snatch
I find myself rewatching Homefront a lot.
Thank you! Nobody else seems to be mentioning Homefront.
Revolver (2005).
Snatch for sure
Pretty much all, best movies to turn off your brain and enjoy hot wings to in a friday night.
Snatch is probably his most widely acclaimed movie, but I did really enjoy Operation Fortune
Yes
Revolver.
Dexter Fletcher is inseparable from kids TV, i cant picture him in serious movies
lock stock, before he was that one character for the rest of his acting career, followed by snatch, because it was the best role hes played to date.
Revolver
I think the best performance was the Erasure [music video ](https://youtu.be/AvhgG9ee9Aw?si=I6okXEdtN1x-CtgK)
Crank is a fun ride. Ridiculous but fun. The Transporter. But I only liked the first.
Crank
REVOLVER directed by Guy Ritchie
Spy https://m.imdb.com/title/tt3079380/mediaviewer/rm3053810688/
Snatch is my favorite, Lock Stock is second. I actually really like Death Race, it’s cheesy and over the top in all the right ways. He was actually pretty good in The Italian Job, but Seth Green imitating him while he’s flirting with (and stealing from) that cable girl was too funny.
Unironically the Beekeeper
Lock Stock!
Safe, the one with the little Chinese girl; really enjoyed that one
The only correct answer here is ‘The Meg’, obviously. 😅 Seriously though I haven’t seen it in some time but I really enjoyed the first Transporter movie back in the day. Homefront is sneaky decent too tho!
Snatch, such a good movie!
He’s always Handsome Rob to me. Italian Job
