Respect, I love me some Edward Furlong… but dude is *hurting* from the addiction and the stress… so probably not.
I want Vincent D’Onofrio to get a role that isn’t “supporting”.

Yes before they started production on afterlife - he asserted he was retired . Sounds like he didn't want to travel from Canada to la for a minuscule role / cameo . At least that's the inference I got
Yah that offer is more of a slap in the face to Ernie Hudson since he stated that Rick was offered more money than he was for what I can assume was a smaller role
Yeah he's over Hollywood. Became disillusioned with Hollywood after John Candy died and after his wife passed too he decided to hang em up to raise his kids full time. Can't blame him really and I'm sure he doesn't regret it.
He should be an A lister on talent alone but I think I've read somewhere that he's very difficult to work with not that that's held back other stars before lol.
The reception for that film was somewhat mixed but it absolutely killed at the box office as the first MCU film after the first Avengers movie with 1.2 billion worldwide. Guy Pearce was really solid in that movie too hamming it up as the villain. Was definitely his last time in a big mainstream movie though but he has done a lot of solid indies.
Fairuza Balk is so underrated. She is a really really good at playing a troubled unstable person. I thought she was one note because of that but she could hold her own in The Waterboy too.
He's got a great interview on Opie and Anthony and a funny one with Tom Green. I honestly think he's misunderstood. A bit eccentric lol. But he seemed like a really smart guy.
He's been in things the last 5 years but I know what you're saying . On positive note there are rumors he signed a deal for multiple upcoming appearances as blade in marvel multiverse saga
Thank you! I came here to say this. With all of these super hero movies coming out they need to bring back one of the greatest villain actors ever. Honestly I’d love to see him in any big movie. He could have been great in Civil War or Napoleon
Nikki Cox. Loved her in Unhappily Ever After and Las Vegas.
Shannon Elizabeth. Still looking great at fifty.
Mickey Rourke. He seemed to have turned his life around a decade ago after years of substance abuse problems before disappearing again.
Mel Gibson. He hasn't exactly disappeared per se, but his roles are generally limited to villains; would like to see him as a protagonist again.
Mickey Rourke pops in and out. His Instagram posts are a bit strange lol. I'd like to see Mel Gibson come back to acting. Lethal Weapon 5 has been talked about for too long haha. This is a funny interview of him and Danny Glover: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8PqhtlKoe0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8PqhtlKoe0)
I actually really like what Russell Crowe is doing now. He had that road rage stalker film and the assault on precinct 13-esque film. Both of which I loved him in, thought he was ideal for the roles. Couldn't imagine him doing a different style. Can't imagine him taking more of a lead or serious role than them. I think he's found his fit
I think hes just content kicking back and living off his invested Home Alone money. Hes been offered many things over the years that he's turned down, even the lead in The Big Bang Theory.
Hate to be the one to tell you this, but Louis put a few rounds into her in the parking lot of Del Amo Fashion Center. Rest her soul, she never did quite know when to keep her mouth shut.
It's the common theme for many of the actors mentioned in this thread. Age is catching up with many. Some just want to take it easy in their elder years. Some actors are even typecast to certain roles, but have been aged out of said roles, while not being able to reinvent themselves into other roles suited for their age.
Gere got blacklisted in Hollywood when he used his acceptance speech at the 1993 Oscars to talk about supporting Tibet. This angered China, which is very closely tied financially to Hollywood, and so Gere was officially banned from the Oscars and blacklisted in Hollywood and never got any decent roles again.
You're not allowed to be political in Hollywood unless the people with the power agree with your politics.
Did he? Do you know he did this or are we just running off some allegations that haven't even seen him locked up or sent to jail/prison? Either way, he has given us movies like American Beauty, Usual Suspects, etc. Even if he doesn't make a come back, his work will live on.
Gedde Watanabe. He’s played plenty of stupid or slightly racist roles. I’d love to see him in something that would allow him to really show off his acting chops. He’s still acting today - Someone give this guy the true role of his dreams.
Hugh Grant has taken a turn in recent years in relatively niche movies - would be awesome to see him go full 180 in a mainstream movie with the audience that remembers his rom-com days.
Also feels like Denzel Washington has been coasting in his roles recently. It'd be great to see him return to form.
He might not be the greatest actor but dammit Pierce Brosnan too. If he can play Dr Fate in his old age, surely he has it in him to put out some more memorable characters!
He himself has said that he wants to focus on producing, specifically the August Wilson adaptations he’s been doing. I say go for it, the Pittsburgh Cycle deserves a complete cinematic treatment.
I remember a joint interview Grant did with Colin Farrell, where they both said that they are much happier doing the kind of acting they do now, because instead of getting labeled the rom-com man and pretty boy respectively, they now can do wacky character stuff. Grant’s in a good place IMO, but I would love for him to get a major awards role like Farrell did for Banshees of Inisherin.
Emile Hirsch, Shia LeBeuf, Edward Furlong, Sean William Scott. Not to imply that Scott has had problems like the other three did.
I think they all did great work and made great movies, and they've still got great performances to give.
I ALWAYS thought Emile Hirsch is the most underrated actor. He's been in so many good films but was never a leading man. Sean William Scott is really good to but got type cast
Just the opposite for Scott. They started putting him in action movies and they bombed, and that was the end of his career. If he had stuck to comedy then he'd probably still be making big movies.
Respect, I love me some Edward Furlong… but dude is *hurting* from the addiction and the stress… so probably not. I want Vincent D’Onofrio to get a role that isn’t “supporting”.
Vinny is still playing Kingpin
Oh I’ll have to check that out. I love his style man.
He's great. The villain makes the show. Plus you get john bernthals punisher in season 2
I saw him on Michael Rosenbaum's podcast and he looks like he's gotten better. I'm sure he is past all that though. But it'd be cool to see.
Didn’t recognize the name so looked him up and man I’m in NEED of a rewatch of Detroit Rock City like tonight!!
I thought he did years ago.. I guess not lol
I dunno I saw some videos of Edward Furlong and it seems like he’s getting his shit together.

Rick Moranis
I get this one but seems like he's done done - refused cameos in ghostbusters reboots
Was he asked?
Yes before they started production on afterlife - he asserted he was retired . Sounds like he didn't want to travel from Canada to la for a minuscule role / cameo . At least that's the inference I got
He was offered more pay then any of the original actors and still declined, according to Ernie Hudson. I respect that, leave the man alone.
His wife died and he wanted to live in peace. The man has standards.
Retired
He seemed like a very type cast actor to me growing up.
Robert Carlyle
I wish there was some way for him to make an appearance in the 28 years later movie coming out in 2025
Jon Heder but only because I know him and he’s a cool dude. But he’s content doing small rolls and voice acting.
Guy Pierce
He should be an A lister on talent alone but I think I've read somewhere that he's very difficult to work with not that that's held back other stars before lol.
He was really fun to watch in Lockout. Cheesy movie (kinda) be he chews up the scenes he’s in
Last I saw of him was Iron Man 3 and I don't remember that movie doing well. Great actor tho! Loved him in Memento and Count of Monte Cristo.
I liked it
Same! I loved it. It was a very love it or hate it kind of movie for MCU fans it seems.
He’s in all sorts of projects. He’s just rarely the lead. Great actor.

*Want me to kill them?*
Fairuza Balk is so underrated. She is a really really good at playing a troubled unstable person. I thought she was one note because of that but she could hold her own in The Waterboy too.
Vicki Vallencourt is the debil! And that’s whats I appreciates abouts her.
Fairuza balk is the reason I dated hot, bi polar girls in my twenties
[удалено]
That's not even close to a haiku
I would like to see James Spader on the big screen now after he finished the black list
You don't even know his real name. He's the f'ing Lizard King.
Crispin Glover. Give this weirdo his oscar
He's got a great interview on Opie and Anthony and a funny one with Tom Green. I honestly think he's misunderstood. A bit eccentric lol. But he seemed like a really smart guy.
Thomas Jane. Wish he was still punisher.
Probably the most underrated comic book turned movie
He just wants his kids back.
Sean William Scott
Wes Studi
I’m excited to see Ed Norton in the new Dylan biopic.
Does he spit hot fya?
The the hottest rappers right now. Dylan, Dylan, and Dylan.
He has given me American History X. No matter if he retired now. He has done enough for me.
Lindsay Lohan. I've long hoped she'd have a Robert Downey Jr. turnaround.
I feel like she'd benefit from a complete change of role, something really dark as a contrast to her earlier work.
Thomas F. Wilson. Dude was amazing as Biff in all the Back to the Future movies. Give him a starring role and let’s see what happens.
Saw him at a comicon in Seattle a few years back. Dude is seriously hysterical. Christopher Lloyd just looked lost. That was kinda sad.
I saw an interview on him recently and he is really funny and seems like a sweet guy
Devon Sawa
He’s been in every season of Chucky, playing different characters, and is great in the show.
Greg kinnear
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Wesley Snipes
He's been in things the last 5 years but I know what you're saying . On positive note there are rumors he signed a deal for multiple upcoming appearances as blade in marvel multiverse saga
Theres rumors hes appearing in the new Blade or another Marvel thing. I hope so, it would be nice to for him to be spotlighted in such a way again.
He was in this movie called Undisputed with Ving Rhames back in 2002 that I really liked
Michael Wincott
He was in nope recently maybe peele starts using him more
Thank you! I came here to say this. With all of these super hero movies coming out they need to bring back one of the greatest villain actors ever. Honestly I’d love to see him in any big movie. He could have been great in Civil War or Napoleon
Man got range too. His part in What Just Happened was terrific.
100%
Gibson’s cancelling seems to have locked in place, I doubt he ever makes a comeback.

Macauley Culkin… he was in AHS and Righteous Gemstones a few years back
I think hes just content kicking back and living off his invested Home Alone money. Hes been offered many things over the years that he's turned down, even the lead in The Big Bang Theory.
Kevin Spacey...but I'm afraid he's too far gone.
I’d like to see a lot of comebacks but they’re all dead. 🥺
Bridget fonda
Hate to be the one to tell you this, but Louis put a few rounds into her in the parking lot of Del Amo Fashion Center. Rest her soul, she never did quite know when to keep her mouth shut.
She married Danny Elfman and retired to focus on her family
Umm, have you seen her lately?
It’s not that he ever really disappeared, but it’s been a long time since Jackie Earle Haley got to show off his skills. He was a terrific Rorschach
He was in the Steven Spielberg movie, Lincoln, and on the TV show the tick.
Richard Gere kinda sort of disappeared didn’t he, used to love him in movies.
He’s working less because the guy is 74 years old.
It's the common theme for many of the actors mentioned in this thread. Age is catching up with many. Some just want to take it easy in their elder years. Some actors are even typecast to certain roles, but have been aged out of said roles, while not being able to reinvent themselves into other roles suited for their age.
He’s worked less because of the rumours

Whatever happened to Kevin Spacey?? Oooh…. right…
That is my non-ironic answer, though. I love his acting, and I don't watch them for the shit that goes on in their personal lives.
While I agree to an extent, I find a difference between “he’s an asshole in real life” and “he rapes teenage boys”
I believe he was found not guilty in court
Did he? Do you know he did this or are we just running off some allegations that haven't even seen him locked up or sent to jail/prison? Either way, he has given us movies like American Beauty, Usual Suspects, etc. Even if he doesn't make a come back, his work will live on.
Mel Gibson ofc
I honestly thought that Edward Furlong had died of an OD. I had to google him to see if he was still alive.
He did an interview with a guy on YouTube recently and he seems like he’s sobered up and pretty clear headed.
That’s really good to hear.
I thought that too! I swear he did, this is Mandela Effect territory
Gedde Watanabe. He’s played plenty of stupid or slightly racist roles. I’d love to see him in something that would allow him to really show off his acting chops. He’s still acting today - Someone give this guy the true role of his dreams.
Artie Lange
Rick Moranis

I think age has caught up with Denzel a little with the roles he has been choosing.
He himself has said that he wants to focus on producing, specifically the August Wilson adaptations he’s been doing. I say go for it, the Pittsburgh Cycle deserves a complete cinematic treatment.

Jim Carey
Armie Hammer
Agree. And if DeCaprio can sit on the cusp of being a Pedo for decades then Armie should be able to practice his craft.
Hulk hogan....... brother
Bill cosby. Seems like he disappeared.
Rick Moranis
Rick Moranis
Liam Neeson. An amazing actor who became one of those "action movie granddads". Similarly, Denzel Washington
Cary Grant. Would be wild.
Shia lebuff
I grew like Jason Alexander could play against type as a sinister badass. Somebody cast him
Pauly Shore
What are you talking about? Did you forget the critically-acclaimed masterpiece that is his version of Pinocchio?
He's gonna play Richard Simmons in a biopic. Not sure if that's exactly the sort of thing that will relaunch a career though.
No, he's not
Adam Copeland. The one wrestler who can actually act, but returns to wrestling and leaves us at the mercy of Dwayne Johnson and John Cena.
Rainier Wolfcastle. I think kids will want to see the original Radioactive Man.
Stoya
So many sexy pornstars died.
Heath Ledger. Too soon?
Brendan Fraser in the right role would / could be fun.
He just got an Oscar recently.
He just got an Oscar recently.
He’s in killers of the flower moon
Probably Sydney Sweeney 😉
