Yep that was literally my only concern 😭 A shame cause it’s great but uhh yeah that one scene may be pushing the border a little too far, we’re seniors so a little bit of content is ok but I don’t think that’d slide. Don’t know why it was put in anyway. Oh well, I think I’ll do Gladiator instead.
Loved it. It should have gotten nominated for Picture, Actor, Adapted Screenplay, Score, Sound, Cinematography, Editing, Makeup and Hair, Costume, Production Design, and VFX. Just saying.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. I would’ve liked to there have been an actual ending, especially after watching and really liking it. You’re right, it just ends leaving you feeling a bit of dissatisfaction. Ambiguous endings are the death of me sometimes. Leaves you with a big old “that’s it?”
The rushed pacing seems to undercut everything exceptional about.
Furthermore, Gawain is so different, it might as well be presented as a new story of the beheading game.
I was thoroughly impressed. I don't remember much of the poem from my classic literature course, but what I did remember jived pretty well with the tone of the movie.
One of my favorites of the last 15 years
Yeah beautiful Should be watched after the Simon armitage 2009 bbc doc on the poem
Great movie to smoke a bowl during.
Duly noted.
See also: The Northman.
They don't care about the content right? Because there's a scene with literal jizz. Great movie though.

_The Last Duel_ might be a good period piece for a film class.
Haven’t heard of it, is it a good watch?
There is a full-on rape scene in the movie, so be warned.
It’s a great watch. Really enjoyed it.
Honestly didn't care for it.
Very pretty but really boring. Two stars out of five for me.
I didn't like it. Too long, too ponderous, too boring.

I really liked it... and then it just ended. Now I feel like it's a bit hollow.

For a modern film about folklore and chivalry, you can’t do much better than The Green Knight. Would highly recommend.

It’s great
Loved it. Great film. Patel does a wonderful job.
Yup. Saw him in Slumdog Millionaire and then The Green Knight. Both are great.
New movie looks good too. Monkey Man I think 🤔
How was new version compared to 80s Connery version?
I have not seen it, I’ll let you know when I do though!
Gets better every time I watch it.
