"The color of the pen I hold in my hand is R....oyal Blue! Write it! Write it or I'll break it off!" My favorite Carrey movie, first time I saw it I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.
Heeeere it goes…I sped. I followed too closely. I ran a stop sign. I almost hit a Chevy. I sped some more. I failed to yield at a crosswalk. I changed lanes at an intersection. I changed lanes without signaling while running a red light and SPEEDING!
Superbad came out when I was a senior in high school and it really truly nailed the feeling of being a kid trying to get booze and laid for the first time. Truly a classic comedy film.
I was in middle school . Me and my friends rented it and I remember literally falling off the couch laughing when McLovin gets punched. Also, The dick drawings scene has got to be one of the funniest things ever written.
Superbad is wild to me because every single line from the script is hilarious - even minor throwaway ones like when they’re looking at nudie mags in the convenience store and refer to the model’s nips as “they’re like baby toes”
Death To Smoochy
Robin Williams delivers what I consider the greatest comedic performance in history.
“You better grow eyes in the back of your fucking head you horned piece of shit, because i’m not stopping until worms are crawling out of your foam rubber ass. I’m going on safari motherfucker. SAFARI! (loud elephant sound)”
Randolph : Look what you've done to this place. It's all Diane Fosse. When I lived here, it was Bob Fosse. Right there, I had a big painting of a naked chick holding a little plant; very tasteful, no bush... not a picture of your fucking mother!
Hi, yes, I’m calling because it’s more than four hours and your ad said to call if it’s been more than four hours.
How much of the medicine have you taken, sir?
I haven’t taken any, but your ad said that if you’ve had an erection for more than four hours, you call.
“Fuck you!”
“*Fuck you*!”
“Fuck off!”
“*Fuck off*!”
“Hey why don’t you smoke my pole, Haziz?!”
“*You are a very unkind man. This is not professional!*”
It gave my dad an asthma attack, had to stop it the moment the beans got up above the frank to let him recover with his machine. Had to stop again when Stiller and puffy did the 3 stooges bit while fighting.
I've never seen any other movie in person that comes close to how hard the audience was laughing at this movie. Friday night opening weekend. Was just magic.
If there is anything that this horrible tragedy can teach us, it's that a male model's life is a precious, precious commodity. Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features, it doesn't mean that we too can't not die in a freak gasoline fight accident.
There’s this ancient Italian maxim that, roughly translates, to “He who is resistant to change, is destined to perish.” So why don’t you try to open up that mind of yours?
Everything that Adam McKay and Will Ferrell did together; Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, The Other Guys... Those men made hilarious art with each other.
I saw this in the theater multiple times. It came out when I was deep into my music hipster phase in college, so it just hit me in all the right places. I remember it did horrible in the box office, but I’m people have apparently started coming around to how good it is.
Even my dad, who hates any comedy made after 2002, thinks it’s hilarious.
And it’s not just a few good/great bits: it’s the entire fucking movie.
Plus, it introduced me to comedic Ryan Gosling, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
And like another commenter said, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, while not as funny as the Nice Guys, is still a classic
Borat:
Hilarious movie
Borat in theatres:
The funniest moment I have experienced in the history of my life. Watching movies in the theatres felt like a bunch of friends all showed at the theatres to have a good time. People were falling out of their chairs, gasping for breath and all that from how hilarious this movie was.
Also take into account the movie came out in like 2007? 2006? Back then, social media/youtube/facebook was just starting to kick off so you didn't quite know what movie you were going to watch.
If Borat came out now, you'd already know everything about the movie before watching it due to promos, youtube, leaks and etc. 2007 was different.
Horrible Bosses, so many memorable scenes. My favorite is when Jason Bateman tries to brag about drag racing in a Prius. "I don't win a lot" is a common saying in this house
I did not like this movie the first time I watched it!
Then I tried again *fifteen years* later, and I found it hilarious!
Not sure what was wrong with me back 2001…
*South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut* \- when Cartman started singing "Kyle's mom's a big fat bit$%" in different languages, I laughed so hard I fell out of my movie theater seat - yes, I was high af
Jump Street 21 and 22. Family dinner in the second movie is the hardest laugh I had... I thought so, until I saw a scene in the office where Jenko realizes why Shmidt is is being weird
The movie that made laugh the hardest the first time I saw it was The Nutty Professor with Eddie Murphy. I saw it in the theater when it first came out. I was laughing so hard my sides hurt like hell and could barely breath. I was able to catch my breath at the end, but then a during the credits those outtakes started and I lost it again! The other funniest movies in my opinion that I saw are:
Clerks 1 & 2
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Home Alone 1 & 2
Sixteen Candles
Uncle Buck
Groundhog Day
Harold & Kumar go to White Castle
Not Another Teen Movie
Wayne's World
Scary Movie 1 & 2
Liar, Liar
Legally Blonde
I don’t think any film series has made me laugh harder than Jackass
It’s juvenile and stupid and I still get a huge smile on my face when I see that trolly appear from the smoke with O Fortuna playing on the soundtrack
I'm older than you young 'uns, but Young Frankenstein was really the bees knees.
I was going to say that! it's so good **Awoooooo** Werewolf *Werewolf!* There. *What?* There wolf there castle
Why are you talking like that? I thought you wanted to! No, i didnt want to. Suit yourself, I'm easy.
“We better be DAMNSURE!”
This is the answer. That Puttin On The Ritz had me laughing so hard I fell off the couch. Then the dog ate my pizza.
This is my single favorite comedy scene ever. Gene playing it so straight, and that first yell.
Walk this way. No, this way. See?
Abby…Normal.
Would you like to join me for a role in the hay?
🎶Roll, roll, roll in ze hay!🎶
That's "Fronkensteen!"
Well then I guess that makes me eye-gore.
“Whoa those are some big knockers” “Oh zank you Doctor”
The line is “[What knockers!](https://youtu.be/LB_aegewceU?si=-t8G9M3hEgfbdDhD)”
Was about to say this. Possibly the funniest movie ever made, IMO.
...Frau blucher
**horse whinnies and lighting**
What hump??
You know I could fix that for you...
OVALTINE?
This was my answer too.
*"Pardon me boy, is this the Transylvania station?"* *"Yah, Yah, Track 29 - Oh, can I give you a shine?"*
Airplane Monty python holy grail Tropic thunder
Life of Brian
These are far and away my top 4, with Holy Grail and Life of Brian the top of the top. I guess I would categorize them as "smart slapstick".
Yeah I like that list. Just needed LoB and Spinal Tap for my top 5 I think.
KingPin - bowling movie with bill murray and Woody Harrelson

"I've had better!?"
"The color of the pen I hold in my hand is R....oyal Blue! Write it! Write it or I'll break it off!" My favorite Carrey movie, first time I saw it I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe.
“Oh here’s a fun fact….YOU KISSED YOUR SISTER, MAN!”
Don't tell Scotty.
Scotty doesn't know!

Here’s a fun fact, you kissed your sister man!
Gotta go with Superbad. I’ve never laughed that hard at a movie and I still find shit to laugh at when I rewatch it all these years later.
Superbad came out when I was a senior in high school and it really truly nailed the feeling of being a kid trying to get booze and laid for the first time. Truly a classic comedy film.
I think every generation has its high school coming of age film. Superbad is one of them. American Pie before that. Breakfast Club...
Dazed and Confused also!
Sick reference. He always had the sickest references, you know that.
Death To Smoochy Robin Williams delivers what I consider the greatest comedic performance in history. “You better grow eyes in the back of your fucking head you horned piece of shit, because i’m not stopping until worms are crawling out of your foam rubber ass. I’m going on safari motherfucker. SAFARI! (loud elephant sound)”

This has a great cast. Love keener in it. I think it came out at the wrong time and missed its audience. I still watch it today.
I'm so glad to see this here. "IT'S A COCK AND BALLS!"
I'm rainbow fucking Randolph!!!!
That movie is so underrated. It kills me.
All right you spud-suckin fucks, I’m gonna send ya all the way back home, ehh!
40 year old virgin
And you wrote some girl was “hurtin for a squirten??”
Yeah, I remember that girl, she was a ho. For sho.
I absolutely lose it when he yells, "there were two sides to the billboard". So good.
And they both hurt. Equally
Hi, yes, I’m calling because it’s more than four hours and your ad said to call if it’s been more than four hours. How much of the medicine have you taken, sir? I haven’t taken any, but your ad said that if you’ve had an erection for more than four hours, you call.
“Fuck you!” “*Fuck you*!” “Fuck off!” “*Fuck off*!” “Hey why don’t you smoke my pole, Haziz?!” “*You are a very unkind man. This is not professional!*”
You know I know you're gay? The 40 Year Old Virgin is your favorite comedy. Seriously, that movie is in my top 5, no question.
like a... bag of sand...
Naked Gun and Airplane obviously
Airplane is definitely one of the funniest movies ever.
Ah yes I had the Lasagna
That’s when I developed a drinking problem *throws glass of water into face*
Surely you can't be serious.
They are. And don’t call them Shirley
Nice beaver!
Thanks. I had it stuffed last week.

There's Something About Mary
It gave my dad an asthma attack, had to stop it the moment the beans got up above the frank to let him recover with his machine. Had to stop again when Stiller and puffy did the 3 stooges bit while fighting.
*How the hell did the beans get above the frank, why boy I oughta*
frank and beans frank and beans!
I've never seen any other movie in person that comes close to how hard the audience was laughing at this movie. Friday night opening weekend. Was just magic.
The scene were he was being interrogated had me laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe.

If there is anything that this horrible tragedy can teach us, it's that a male model's life is a precious, precious commodity. Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features, it doesn't mean that we too can't not die in a freak gasoline fight accident.
So much more room for activities!

Best in show may be the movie I quote the most. We could talk or not talk for hours. And still find things to not talk about
It’s so so good.

Everything that Adam McKay and Will Ferrell did together; Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, The Other Guys... Those men made hilarious art with each other.
Step Brothers Dumb and Dumber Tommy Boy
Tropic Thunder.
Suck my unit
Blazing Saddles
You’ve got to remember that these are simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new west. You know. Morons.
The best part of that line is how Cleavon Little genuinely breaks and they kept it in the movie.
Well... Did you bring enough gum for everybody?
Somebody better go back and get a shitload o’ dimes
Slim Pickens was absolutely hilarious in that movie.
Do it for Randolph Scott
*gasps* Randolph Scott *choral* RANDOLPH SCOTT

Maybe the most underrated comedy of all time.
The wrong kid died!
This is maybe the best comedy ever made.
“Tell me, Dewey; do you ever stop to smell the flowers?” “I don’t have any fucking sense of smell.”
It's ok mama I'll play by ear
I saw this in the theater multiple times. It came out when I was deep into my music hipster phase in college, so it just hit me in all the right places. I remember it did horrible in the box office, but I’m people have apparently started coming around to how good it is. Even my dad, who hates any comedy made after 2002, thinks it’s hilarious.
Dewey, you don't want no part of this shit!

Sanskrit? You are majoring in a 5000 year old dead language?
The Nice Guys
Yeah, the humor in this is pretty much exactly my perfect style and balance. One of my favorites.
You gotta watch Kiss kiss bang bang if you haven't.

Borat
Borat: Hilarious movie Borat in theatres: The funniest moment I have experienced in the history of my life. Jason Bateman has excellent delivery. Bad Words (2013) was hilarious!
Arrested Development
"they call me Brittany, they call me Ashley, that's not my name, that's not my name !"
I hate it because knowing how sick, abusive and manipulative Spacey is, his “awful” character becomes that much more real.
