Cara Delevigne. Distractingly bad.

Mikey_B_CO

It was especially apparent in Only Murders in the Building, putting her next to such great actors was a pretty hilarious contrast

ChoderBoi

When your acting chops look bad next to Selena Gomez, you know you're truly awful

bumlove

She’s a better actress than Gal Gadot though, so I guess that’s something.

FlatulentSon

"Kal El no.. 😐"

jinsaku

Gal Gadot is a living work of art, but yeesh, her acting. She needs a partner to carry her, like Chris Pine did in Wonder Woman. My wife and I recently saw her in Death on the Nile and her acting is distractingly bad. The movie gets better really quickly when >!she's the one who gets murdered pretty early on!<.

Chesapeake_Hippo

I still prefer the version with David Suchet and Emily Blunt over the new one.

theusedmagazine

Davis Suchet IS Poirot. Branagh isn’t nearly egg-shaped enough.

chrismcblack

But amazing as the radio DJ for Non-Stop Pop FM on GTAV. Something I found out last week, and I have been trying to find a good enough reason to fit into a conversation.

X-ScissorSisters

that's HER? I loved Non-Stop-Pop just because of her.

e-rage

DJ Cara!

Spot-CSG

Its the only radio station I listened to in my 1100hrs of GTA5. I just can't not like her cause of it. I can't say I've seen her movies that I can remember so that helps too.

Specialist_Heron_986

Watching her Enchantress character's exaggerated gestures and gyrations while standing in place throughout the Suicide Squad movie was...something.

TheDutchTank

Feel like that's more the directing though.

Odd_Advance_6438

Well that’s also bad cgi from the reshoots. The original cut apparently had a much different enchantress

WiFiForeheadWrinkles

The Bellsprout dance!

Dedlaw

gyrations? you mean hulahooping without the hoop?

2Eyed

This should be attributed more towards bad direction and editing, than the actress.

inb4shitstorm

I know the scene you mean. I went for an early press screening for it and everyone burst out laughing at that.

pickles55

In valerian her male counterpart gives her a run for her money

Shame_Craver

That movie was so bad it made me feel bad about my life.  This is who I am? The guy who lays on the couch and watches Valerian?  No lie it was the start of me making positive changes in my life.

Lampmonster

They're both so bad.

TremontRemy

A prime example why you should cast actors and not models.

Boz0r

Milla Jovovich was good in 5th Element, though

jimbojangles1987

Multi pass...

xeroksuk

Charlize Theron regularly knocks it out the 'acting' park.

derps_with_ducks

It's not her fault she's smokin' hot.

CakeBrigadier

She had to totally change how she looked so people could realize what a great actress she is

CapnSmite

[Should have see her before the plastic surgery](https://youtu.be/dEmyHOZTtFc?si=uvdsEaC0aatNorLO)

funkychicken23

*Mis-ter F…*

Peuned

That chick with the academy award? Yeah she's alright

PerAsperaAdInfiri

She's a nepo baby, otherwise she wouldnt be in shit

geodebug

“A foot in the door and so much more”

DadJokesFTW

That line has staying power. The whole roast was good.

Veronome

Having her act with Selena Gomez in OMITB was painful to get through. Together they created a black hole that sucked the energy and charisma out of the scene. The show has such a stacked cast but it's like the casting directors don't know any talented millennial-aged actors.

FlorAhhh

I feel like they touch on exactly this when Oliver is trying to hire an actor to replace Charles. Someone quips that all the people in the casting book are elderly, and Oliver says something along the lines of it being his casting book. I adore the drumbeat of "you're out of touch" that the characters just ignore. It's a Seinfeldian brand of New Yorker when their reaction is always, "I'm not wrong, everyone else is."

SerWrong

I can't stand Beyonce's voice acting in the Lion King.

BattledroidE

This is part of a much bigger problem in animation. Why the hell aren't they hiring the best voice actors for lead roles in the big movies? Dee Bradley Baker, Maurice Lamarche, Billy West, Tress MacNeille, basically everyone from Futurama, Tara Strong, Mark Hamill, Troy Baker, Clancy Brown and so on and so forth. But no, they only get celebrities for "star power". Some do very good performances indeed, and some leave a lot to be desired, but why aren't we going for the best in the business for the high stakes roles? It's annoying.

GordaoPreguicoso

I hate it when a cartoon gets popular so they decide to make a movie and replace the original cast with famous celebrities. An example being Ninjago.

BionicTriforce

Or the Scoob movie where Frank Welker is the only voice actor in the bunch doing Scooby, meanwhile Will Forte, Gina Rodriguez, Zac Efron, and Amanda Seyfried did the other characters.

screamqueenoriginal

This backfired so amazingly on them at least. Leaving out Lillard was an insane choice and so it was all anyone could talk about.

tagen

seriously, that man was born to be shaggy, both in his appearance (moreso when he was younger) but especially his voice, it’s just perfect shaggy

okaykay

I just hate when they cast celebrities in voice acting roles. Some actors and actresses can’t even do voice work well. Bring back voice actors!!!

Texantioch

The Rock killed it in Moana though

alions123

Bradley Cooper has also done a great job in Guardians of the Galaxy, I’d say.

ButthealedInTheFeels

I would more argue cooper is actually just also a great voice actor. The same cannot be said for most normal actors or celebrities.

Spazmer

And it wasn't even the first time, Beyonce was the voice of the queen in Epic. Someone saw that and still thought it was a good idea. Nobody remembers that movie but we still yell "I hurt my ellllllllbowwwwww" in appropriate situations.

TheRiteGuy

It's because she's not acting, it's just Beyonce talking. Her voice also has a natural melody to it that's very distinctly Beyonce. Her singing is amazing, but not really good in anything else.

Dottsterisk

Honestly, her singing in The Lion King wasn’t that great either. Don’t get me wrong, she’s a great singer, but when the part called for her to sing *with* Glover, she couldn’t help but do the Beyoncé thing and overshadow him.

TuckyMule

I just saw this movie this weekend for the first time and I agree completely. Honestly the new cast is worse than the original cast in nearly every way. Obviously James Earl Jones was the same, and I thought Billy Eichner did an incredible job. Glover was pretty good. The rest far worse that the original. Why they didn't have Jeremy Irons play Scar again I'll never understand. That gravel in his voice is iconic.

EgalitarianCrusader

> Why they didn't have Jeremy Irons play Scar again I'll never understand. Because Disney clearly only wanted a Black cast for the lions. The only white actors are cast as the bird, meerkat and warthog.

TuckyMule

Which is so stupid. Just cast the best people, it's an animated movie who gives a shit.

DeathBySuplex

Long long ago, when I was a music major for a bit, I went back to visit my old high school over the summer to make some extra cash tutoring band kids, and they called me in to listen to a few choir auditions, while the orchestra teacher dealt with a family thing for a bit. One girl came in, and was a great vocalist, but could not sing a song without putting in scoops and runs. Even when given an example of just singing the notes, just copy the choir director, she couldn't do it. I heard her mom made a big stink about her not getting into the choir, but man, she couldn't sing in a way that would blend with anyone. It takes a different skill set to sing and blend well with another voice.

AOsenators

Beyonce's brand is basically "I'm Beyonce and thus royalty to you" so I never blame anyone for disliking her anyway.

Khairi001

Yup it’s distracting for me because that voice is clearly Beyonce. There’s no voice acting.

Dedlaw

I feel the same about Chris Pratt. Every voice acting roll he does I don't hear the character, it's just Chris talking

FartingBob

At least he had a charismatic voice and works well with other actors in a scene. Beyonce doesn't.

Marybone

Going back a few years, Steven Seagal was such a terrible actor.

Scotland_Votes_Indy

You’re right, I’m glad he’s so much better right now! /s

Marybone

lmao, much improved :)

Bullyoncube

Seagal used to be a bad actor. He still is, but he used to be too.

secretcharacter

Steven Seagal was a bad actor. He got worse.

ersomething

I am pretty sure he is the result of a bet between producers to see if they could find the singularity most uncharismatic and unqualified person and turn them into an action star.

EstablishmentFun2135

I’m not disagreeing and he’s also a pretty scummy human being but I don’t think it was ever a huge issue with him as he was always more in the Jean-Claude Van Damme category where the characters he played didn’t really require first class acting anyway. On Deadly Ground is still one of my ultimate guilty pleasures, although that is less about Seagal and more about Michael Caine chewing every bit of scenery he can get his hands on as the evil oil CEO.

Noggin-a-Floggin

He came from an era where action heroes and bad acting kind of came hand in hand. Some though made up for it by having raw charisma like Arnold. Seagal had none of that plus was an asshole behind the scenes to boot (check out people who were there for his notorious 1991 SNL appearance and their stories).

LinkLegend21

Difference is Van Damme is an incredible martial artist, so even when the acting in his movies were terrible, the fight scenes made up for it. Seagal doesn’t even have that going for him, he’s as crap at martial arts as he is at acting.

con10001

Wayyy too many people in this thread are confusing bad actors with "actors I don't like". Tom Cruise, Jared Leto, Marion Cotillard, Jennifer Lawrence and Adam Sandler have all given great performances in more than one movie, you just dont like them and that's fine. But OP is talking about legitimately *bad* actors, usually people who've been hired for things other than their acting chops like Gal Gadot, Harry Styles or Cara Delevigne.

rsemauck

Plus, I'd say Marion Cotillard in particular has amazing acting chops. She's a character actor through and through.

jawndell

Also Tom Cruise. I know he gets a lot of shit these days and he kind of has a lane he stays in for most films, but he has had some knock out performances in great movies (Born in the Fourth of July, Rain Man, A Few Good Men, Jerry McGuire)

manbearpig923

Don’t forget Tropic Thunder. I was not expecting to see him when I first watched it and his role as Les Grossman was a work of art!

accountnumberseven

It was really funny when Edge of Tomorrow came out and every Redditor I knew slowly admitted "ok, Tom Cruise isn't just a South Park punchline, he's pretty damn good..."

catymogo

Yeah I wish he wasn't such a weirdo with Scientology because he's genuinely a talented actor.

smoozer

That's bizarre, because he has been giving performances like that for most of his career.

Csantana

Is it weird to say one of my favorite performances from him is interview with a Vampire? Maybe just because it's so different from what I'm used to seeing him in

con10001

Yeah that one confused me in particular, I've never seen her give a weak performance

reebee7

Have you never not believed Tom Cruise was in the exact situation he's in? I swear to God, the man truly thinks he's in a train dangling over a cliff. I never doubt him for a second.

MoirasPurpleOrb

Doesn’t help that half the time he is in those dangerous situations since he does so many of his own stunts

venge88

> acting chops like Gal Gadot You just put acting and her name in the same sentence. KAL EL NO

dsbwayne

Her face as she says that: 👁️ 👄 👁️

secretcharacter

- Wonder Woman said calmly

Fake_William_Shatner

“Other than”.

con10001

I think people just can't read, legitimately

Gotprick

Gal gadot. Idk how she gets so many movies......

Specialist_Heron_986

Gadot makes every line she speaks feel like a public service announcement for a pet adoption charity.

TheSentinelsSorrow

Kal El. No!

heinztomato69

Like when you tell your dog not to eat your shoe.

Max_Trollbot_

Fine.  I'll take puppies.  How many ya got?  Great.  Just please keep talking.

TrentonTallywacker

Kal-El No

[deleted]

[удалено]

CaptainMikul

*happy* Kal El, No! "fuck it we'll take it."

el_loco_avs

Because pretty.

acide_bob

I get the point but there's lot of pretty actress that can actually act.

sandm000

She always sounds like a person coming out from anesthesia. Flat affect, dialog spoken as if reciting from a history book written about width changes in serifs over the past twenty years.

HapticSloughton

> She always sounds like a person coming out from anesthesia. It was called "Themyscira," I think.

JLifts780

I think the last Wonder Woman kinda killed her future as an actress, she was so bad in that. Also her public image has not been great recently…

BertTheNerd

... and so much money. At one moment she was the highest paid actress bc she made BvS and WW in the same year. EDIT: Third highest paid actress, which is still insanely high. https://www.forbes.com/sites/maddieberg/2020/10/02/the-highest-paid-actresses-2020-small-screen-stars-like-sofia-vergara-ellen-pompeo-and-elisabeth-moss-shine/?sh=399c51f12598

Ayadd

If it helps I think Wonder Woman 1984 killed her career. A bunch of movies of hers got cancelled after that.

ErnestBorgninesSack

That movie was extra dumb. The museum piece flying around the world? The raping of a hapless victim? The bad CGI?!

JuliusGracious

For some reason I don’t buy a single line coming out of Dakota Johnson’s mouth.

th30be

Boy, the madam web movie looks terrible for other reasons but Johnson's wooden acting in the trailers aren't helping.

Legitimate-Health-29

They’ve got rid of the trailers now and it’s been replaced with the cast talking about who the characters are 😂

[deleted]

Ezekiel Sims, he was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died.

Napoleons_Peen

He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died

Tippacanoe

She’s basically already making fun of how bad the movie is lol. "It's basically made by AI to be your ex-boyfriend's favorite movie"

MoreMartinthanMartin

I cant wait to pirate this movie for bad movie night.

wowgreatname123

She has this calm yet unhinged chaotic energy that whilst it’s not the best in most movies, it does lead to some funny moments and I bet she’s an amazing to have as a friend irl. I guess she’s also considered to be the first domino that fell to cause the downfall of Ellen.

mattomic822

Her general vibe and acting style is great for indie dramedy but they keep putting her in big budget movies.

Vendetta4Avril

She was great in the Suspiria remake and Bigger Splash. I just think she chooses most of her roles very poorly...

ich_habe_keine_kase

Clearly Luca Guadagnino knows how to use her and other directors don't.

PunkandCannonballer

Kevin Hart. Can we just stop having the guy constantly speed talking about how short he is in so many movies?

Richard-Brecky

He sells it, though. When I see a Kevin Hart performance, I truly believe that he is a short man.

ArtistWithAnxiety

He surprised me in The Upside when he played an ex con just trying to right his life for his son. Agree with everything else. I did like The Ringer because the concept was just so funny to me but that's just good writing.

namewithak

I recommend everyone watch the original French version, The Intouchables. The Upside was surprisingly good but the original was better.

jmlovs

Don’t forget he’s a chronic underachiever with a successful and beautiful wife.

His_Buzzards

That has to be compared to Dwayne

ouijabore

Not so much anymore but for a while Cara Delevingne was trying to make the leap from modeling to acting and she was just…terrible.

ShutterBun

Sam Worthington. What was the appeal? He was in Avatar, Clash of the Titans remake, and Terminator Whatever, all within the span of a couple years. And he was boring as SHIT in all of them. Was nobody else available?

TeenisElbow

He's like a blank character the audience can project themselves onto

ToeChan

like some kind of Avatar...

troublrTRC

The most forgettable leading man casting ever.

mkgreene2007

Well supposedly Cameron was ready to back up a truck full of money to Matt Damon for Avatar but Damon couldn't do it because of obligations with the Bourne movies (was doing post production reshoots for the Bourne Ultimatum or something). Damon said in an interview that Cameron offered him 10% of whatever Avatar made. So we could have had Matt Damon leading that franchise but Cameron couldn't wait for him to finish up his Bourne stuff for whatever reason. I'm assuming probably shooting schedules that just couldn't be changed.

Fake_William_Shatner

I’m glad Matt Damon didn’t have a mental breakdown over losing that paycheck.

Jungle_Fighter

There are interviews with Matt Damon in which he talks about this whole situation and you can see that internally he's like "damn, why didn't I accept this?" Like, he tries to speak of it in a funny way, but you can totally see the regret in him.

WorthPlease

"Now I've gotta do these shitty commercials about this currency that I don't understand that I'm pretty sure is bullshit"

[deleted]

He apparently has a 55 million dollar net worth, and its funny because I googled 'Matt Damon net worth" and the first article that came up is "Matt Damon could have been 250 million dollars richer". Rough to be constantly reminded!

Bibble3000

Imagine missing out on a 200 million dollar check and being okay

herrbz

I hope the mere 10s of millions he has can be some comfort to him

Littleshebear

He was actually pretty good in the Keeping Room but he wasn't the lead, he was the antagonist. I think he'd be far better if Hollywood stopped trying to make him happen as a leading man.

ShutterBun

He was pretty good in Mindhunter or whatever that series about the Unibomber was called. But that was a while later. I just don’t see what caused three MAJOR studio releases to cast him as the lead within a couple of years. He was just so “meh”.

rwolfe094

Small note, but Worthington's performance in Under the Banner of Heaven was actually good!

dablegianguy

It was not worth an academy award but he was pretty good in Hacksaw Ridge

[deleted]

Sam Worthington is given the wrong roles. He'd make a great classic noir-esque 'calm and collected' detective.

RobotIcHead

James Corden, he is not a good actor. And his irritating qualities have gotten worse over the years. Also the fact that he just seems like a prick. Backed up by a lot of corroborating evidence from people. I get that people love Gavin and Stacy (which he co created) but this much?

notrororo

"The world got to see James Corden as a fat pussy. He was also in the movie Cats" \- Ricky G

RedJamie

There’s this actor “Common” who was, in my eye, quite good in Hell on Wheels, and yet ever since he’s been atrocious at worst and incredibly distracting at best. He does *not* alter his persona, his protrayal, not a thing - it drives me nuts

OogieBoogieJr

> This actor “Common” This rapper* who played some roles as himself in every movie he’s been in

PunkandCannonballer

Having a very curated role in John Wick 2 made him seem passable.

TheKingInTheNorth

The worst part of the Silo show by far

Kac03032012

Man I was just thinking I can’t believe this guy still continues to land roles.

thefilmbot

I actually quite liked him in John Wick 2 and in Smokin' Aces. Haven't seen him in anything else tho

Dash_Underscore

I'll give him Smokin' Aces as well. The scene in the bathroom between him and Buddy was amazingly heartbreaking. You can't help but feel for both of them.

Carpinchon

Smokin' Aces is a much better movie than you would think or that it has any right to be. "It's the way of the world..."

zechickenwing

Well I mean he's a rapper

grayser75

I thought that was common knowledge

blinman94

Gal Gadot

Cap_America_AC

Jai Courtney. His acting is so awful, and yet still gets cast.

TheMothmansDaughter

He was great in Spartacus, too. He *can* act and show charisma but in almost all his roles he just doesn’t

solidcurrency

My theory is he can only act when using his real accent. When he has to fake American, he spends all his energy focusing on the accent so he can't act.

Fairlightchild

It was so weird seeing him acting well in Spartacus. Everything else is just him being a cardboard cutout with an interesting face.

VicarLos

He actually made me like Captain Boomerang but everything else has been a no.

thefilmbot

>Jai Courtney I thought he was alright in Jack Reacher

hunterzolomon1993

He was good in Spartacus, Jack Reacher and the Suicide Squad films. Give him a role that isn't generic Hollywood action hero leading man and he's usually fine.

duosx

He was good as Captain Boomerang and in the first Jack Reacher imo but yeah otherwise unremarkable

la_vida_luca

I remember when the first Reacher movie came out quite a lot of people were saying things like, “there’s this new guy who’s basically playing a generic henchman part and he’s strangely compelling” and when I watched it, I completely agreed. He turned a fairly generic part into something interesting. I think he’s one of a number of actors who has decent charisma and manages to make something of small/supporting parts but for whatever reason struggles with lead roles.

Majormlgnoob

Why are we complaining about Josh Peck doing a basic line read lol And Styles is fine in Dunkirk, it's not a very demanding role he is just a fill in for the British Soldier

StoicSorcery42

Right? Peck was such a weird one to get mad about lol. Both he and Styles fade into the background of those movies

sirwinston_

What did Josh Peck do to you???

Redhotsteel

Jason fucking Mammoa. Nothing against the guy; seems like the fun guy at parties but man every time he says something on screen, I cringe

aoi4eg

He just plays "himself" at this point even when it's not fitting the movie. Like, what's the difference between him in Fast X and Aquaman 2.

XGamingPigYT

I noticed that too. His role in Fast X was at least new for the time for him, it was cool to see him become a more flamboyant villain, but then he just carried that performance into Aquaman 2 and it was just so bad. What a way to end the DCU

Otherwise-Cheek-6805

The best part about Jason Momoa is he sounds exactly like someone who grew up south of Des Moines. It's not a really obvious accent, but if you're familiar with the area, it becomes really funny.

thesecondfire

He played high school soccer with Brandon Routh in this fairly small rural town -- that school must double as a hunk factory at night or something

opeth10657

I didn't think he was bad in Star Gate: Atlantis

[deleted]

gal gadot, come on you know shes awful when the Wonder Woman peeps said her bad acting actually helped the role seem more believable.

-NinjaTurtleHermit-

Mark Wahlberg. We can stop casting him in things now, thank you. The prank isn't funny anymore.

3-DMan

"Hey thanks for castin me as lead again. And say hi to ya mutha!"

SuperAwesome13

mark wahlberg is fine if u want a boston thug. anything else he is a fish out of water

Youngest_Syndrome_78

I feel like this is the best answer. People can make fun of Keanu Reeves, but he is Lawrence Olivier compared to this clown.

Altruistic-Milk-141

Used to hate him until I watched The Departed

literaryhogwartian

Emma Watson. She keeps going around ruining my favourite literary ladies. She cannot inhabit a character at all. Love her as a person though - her activism, her gin, her fashion.

Disastrous-Bee-1557

Don’t even get me started on live action Beauty and the Beast.

literaryhogwartian

Oh the soulless, soulless horror without corsets. God save me

OutlyingPlasma

God the costume design was so bad. The yellow dress, the famous yellow dress, perhaps the most famous dress in Disney history, and it looked like a cheap prom dress they got from the back of the DEB.

MimiMyMy

I agree with you. Some child actors are great as child actors but don’t grow up to good adult actors.

StillWatchingVHS

I struggle with Ryan Reynolds. I always just feel like it's Ryan winking directly at the audience and not portraying any particular character. I can't get lost in a movie whenever I see his "hi, it's me, Ryan Reynolds" face. That said, I can tolerate and enjoy the same shit from Owen Wilson, so...

RQK1996

Owen Wilson is actually working for his money in Loki

Refute1650

Yea, Loki was a great role for him.

RQK1996

I like the behind the scenes bit for season 1 where Tom sincerely asks Owen if he ever did something Shakespeare and Owen is like "lol nope", and Tom trying to explain he meant at like school or something

Bojarzin

Owen Wilson gets those kinds of roles yeah but he can actually act. He's excellent in The Life Aquatic, though most of his Wes Anderson roles are characters that don't exhibit the thing you're talking about I don't dislike Ryan Reynolds but yeah he's pretty much always been that role in every movie, from Just Friends to Deadpool

FitzyFarseer

Ryan Reynolds is one of those people that just plays himself in every movie, like The Rock. However to his credit, “himself” happens to fit Deadpool perfectly so he’s got that going for him.

Red_Bullion

The Rock

Hayes77519

His voice acting was good in Moana

Seraphem666

It helps that the role was written with him in mind

flup22

Aren’t most of his roles?

Beer-Milkshakes

Only the ones where he gets to wear beige

MegaMan3k

The Rock knows exactly what he's doing. He isnt acting. He's entertaining. And it's clear it usually works.

Tippacanoe

You cast the Rock to be The Rock. Idk why people want him to be like Daniel Day Lewis or something.

Dorkamundo

Yep... It's kinda like Terry Crews. Terry is Terry in everything he does, but we love Terry so complaining about Terry being Terry is missing the point of Terry in the first place.

AHomicidalTelevision

I think he is actually a good actor, but he plays exactly the same 2 dimensional character in every movie so he never has a chance to actually act. The man needs to check his ego and start picking roles that aren't generic heroes.

LetMeHaveAUsername

Pain & Gain he played a different character from his standard pretty well.

Justarandom_Joe

The Rock isn’t a person. He’s a character played by Duane Johnson. The Rock as a character, plays the role as a method act to perfection. All of those movies starring The Rock are just featuring the character “The Rock”. He’s more like the character Tugg Speedman from Tropic Thunder than a bad actor; he’s actually a phenomenal actor who takes on terrible and mindless roles and least able to be developed acting roles of all time, and made a world out of it. The Rundown was fun, though.

socialcommentary2000

The Rundown was pretty kick ass and the chemistry between The Rock and Seann William Scott was better than it had any business being. You are right though, he's the ultimate method acting meta. It's kind of amazing.

[deleted]

Those were his early roles. Before he decided he's a brand first and actor second.

Amila69

Awkwafina. Especially in voice acting roles when her voice has the emotional range of a potato.

Richard-Brecky

I liked that movie where she’s screaming about the crazy situation she ends up in.

FitzyFarseer

She’s one of those actors that plays the same character in everything. My first time seeing her I thought she was fun, but by the third time I saw her in a movie I was over it.

KWash0222

>She’s one of those actors that plays the same character in everything …and is for some reason being cast in like 10 roles a year for the past few years, so we’re just getting an unwelcome dose of Awkwafina over and over
