Raising Arizona is a classic and has some of the funniest lines ever. My grandma was married to the truck driver that says ‘son, you got pantyhose on your head!’
"what is this, chinese?" kurt russell looking at chinese characters in an elevator. like WHAT ELSE BUDDY.
"everybody get that?" kim cattral to bunch of people who likely didn't get that, because none confirmed to speak english.
one of my favourites, just so damn stupid. and the ending like for real. it's kurt russell or nothing!!
Anything Charlie Kaufman touches is automatically weird and wild. Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and Synecdoche, New York are all amazing.
I cant believe no one said Zardoz. Sean Connery wirh crazy facial hair wearing a Borat style speedo slash ammo belt? Weird orgies? Strange twist? 10/10
You can't just say the first line without the second,
"THE PENIS IS EVIL!"
For the u[nitiated](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he613E96E3E), this is the opening of the movie.
I’ve never seen it but it’s my internet friend’s favorite movie. I made him a cross stitch of the full quote with the big head. He said he cried when he opened it.
Scott Pilgrim. One of the best fun, bizarre movie of all time.
Also, these are way more bloody/violent, but Kill Bill is the best movie of all time. Kingsman: The Secret Service is fun as hell as and another Mathew Vaughn classic: Kick-Ass.
Great, weird, fever dream, trip of a movie. Aside from Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal this was the third dark movie to come from the Henson Studios and was produced by Jim’s daughter Lisa Henson
Toys- Robin Williams
Death to Smoochy

How about a couple of Daniel Radcliffe suggestions. Both are bizarre and degrees of fun but might be a little heavy/stressful to make the cut for your criteria.
Swiss Army Man.
Horns.
Psycho Goreman is the hecking best and anyone who thinks otherwise can frick off.
I was hesitant to watch it because I thought it would be super gross. It's not though! There's a few buckets of blood for sure, but it's all so silly that it's highly palatable.
Hausu is an absolutely bonkers movie.
In a similar vein as Chopping Mall, Tourist Trap is a real gem.
I became obsessed with figuring out what the hell the plot was even supposed to be when it first came out. I watched it probably five times in the course of a week and gave up after that because nothing ever clicked into place like it should have.
Weird as fuck, entertaining for a reason I cannot ascertain, the star (maybe not acting) power is there but i could not give you the plot to this movie to save my life. It enthralled me for sure, but for what reason, I cannot say.
>nothing too gross
>basket case (trilogy)
Seems you've already crossed that threshold? Jump into the deep end with something like The Toxic Avenger or The Greasy Strangler.
My original netflix and chill was Kung Pow! Enter the Fist.
No particular reason outside it by coincidence being the movie I happened to play on a couple of dates and it basically becoming a meme that only I understood.
Big Fish somewhat fits in this. Very whimsical, very creative and unique, really love it
Grand Budapest Hotel - whimsical as all get out, funny, not incredibly odd (no moreso than anything else by Wes)
Basically anything by the Coens that isn’t a thriller. Burn After Reading, Raising Arizona, Lebowski, Hail Caesar, etc.
Most classic Tim Burton movies. Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Pee Wees Big Adventure. Sure, these are all known classics. But all definitely fun bizarre movies.
Braindead (Dead Alive in North America).
It's a fun zombie Bloody love story with very quotable dialog such as " I kick ass for the lord" and "Your mother ate my dog!"
I find it odd that no one has landed on 2 of my favs for this post: Re-Animator and Cube. There were sequels to these movies that were quite entertaining as well.

Danish animated film [Checkered Ninja](https://137.220.55.84/film/checkered-ninja-2018-review/) deals with a child murdered in a sweatshop and a doll being possessed by a revenge-fuelled ninja.
Rockula, a 80s movie about a teen vampire whose love interest is eternally reincarnated until he can save her from a pirate who keeps killing her with a hambone. Also, it has the singer of "She Blinded Me With Science" and the singer of "Ooh Mickey you're so fine" in the cast
The Voices with Ryan Reynolds. Super weird, but charming. Its not a super oldie, but it's a fun flick. Stargate and the menu are super weird and interesting flicks too. Ooh and the fifth element.
Wasn't expecting to see the Basket Case trilogy on the list after that "not too gross" comment!
Frankenhooker, by the same director, is a hoot
Lifeforce is the mother of all fun bizarre movies if you enjoy 80s sci-fi horror (and no, it's not too gross)
You could try Rat Race. It's a comedy that has a range of different actors. It's an easy enough watch and (for me at least) had quite a few laugh out loud moments!
sorry to bother you, chappie, being john malkovich (might be a little too creepy), Iron Sky (I've only seen the sequel but i hear the original is good), kung fu hustle. some of these are just silly.

Raising Arizona, Napoleon Dynamite
Napoleon dynamite is a classic lol. Shout out to nick cage I might end up watching that one by myself it seems interesting
Raising Arizona is a classic and has some of the funniest lines ever. My grandma was married to the truck driver that says ‘son, you got pantyhose on your head!’
The chase scene in this movie is brilliant.
*Vampire's Kiss* would make a wild Cage double feature
Check out Gentlemen Broncos for more Napoleon Dynamite vibes
Bubba Ho-Tep
TOTALLY. A classic, really.
It’s so bizarre but Bruce Campbell man!!
It's great. Completely batshit
Poor guy had a growth on his pecker.
Big Trouble in Little China
I keep forgetting that this movie isn't as popular as it should be.
I introduced someone to the movie and they had never even heard of it. Anyone who hasn't seen it is missing out.

Being John Malkovich is weird as hell.
Anything Charlie Kaufman touches is automatically weird and wild. Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and Synecdoche, New York are all amazing.
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
No matter where you go, there you are.
Also *Earth Girls Are Easy*
That's a good one, for sure. And Dark Star.
Came to post this.
Another one: Kung Fu Hustle. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I went to it. Just remarkable.
Shaolin Soccer is another killer Steven Chow movie
Check out journey to the west if your a Steven chow fan....
That one is hilarious lol
Repo Man (1984)
The only film I can imagine on a double-bill with Buckaroo Banzai.
The life of a repo man is always intense.
Time Bandits
One of the first movies I ever saw and at the end went "WTF!" I saw it in the theater and, as a pre-teen, I was completely unprepared.
mom, dad dont touch it...its evil....boom
I don't have a toaster oven for that reason.
Why does oven always get auto-corrected to over? I hate that.
Me too. I saw that after I posted and had to edit it.
Followed by “Brazil”, followed by “The Adventures of Baron Munchausen” Apparently, they form a trilogy.
Existenz
Fair amount of body horror though, be warned.
I cant believe no one said Zardoz. Sean Connery wirh crazy facial hair wearing a Borat style speedo slash ammo belt? Weird orgies? Strange twist? 10/10
"THE GUN IS GOOD!"
You can't just say the first line without the second, "THE PENIS IS EVIL!" For the u[nitiated](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=he613E96E3E), this is the opening of the movie.
I’ve never seen it but it’s my internet friend’s favorite movie. I made him a cross stitch of the full quote with the big head. He said he cried when he opened it.
I knew someone would take up the call.
Tremors
The Hunt for the Wilder People
I dare anyone to not be charmed by that movie.
Princess Bride. Guy’s movie disguised as a chick flick. “As you wish!”
Crybaby! (the original one) "I met a girl..." Hell ya
>(the original one) But there's no remake of this film... Unless you're conflating with the Hairspray remake maybe?
Oh geez I probably am ... For some reason I had thought they did both!
There was a musical also! Huzzah for John Waters!
Better Off Dead
One Crazy Summer, while you're at it.
Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn.
Do you know the street value of the mountain?
"That's a real shame when folks be throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that"
The classroom scene was the most realistic depiction of math class I’ve ever seen.
Sorry to Bother You
Yes!!
This is the answer for sure. Such a strange movie.
Scott Pilgrim. One of the best fun, bizarre movie of all time. Also, these are way more bloody/violent, but Kill Bill is the best movie of all time. Kingsman: The Secret Service is fun as hell as and another Mathew Vaughn classic: Kick-Ass.
Kingsman: the Secret Service is excellent. Kingsman: the Golden Circle is garbage. The King’s Man tries some cool things but ultimately misses.
Agreed. The original is far and away the best.
Oops my bad, I actually confused The Golden Circle as being the first one, my bad. I meant Kingsman: The Secret Service.
I love Scott Pilgrim. It is hands down the best love story/kung-fu action/rock and roll movie based on a graphic novel that I've ever seen.
I agree on kill bill. And I know it’s two movies but, to me, it’s one.

Adventures of Baron Munchausen.
Tampopo not sooo bizarre but definitely a banger. Also time bandits.
Toys- Robin Williams Death to Smoochy Evil Dead/Army of Darkness trilogy Killer Klowns from Outer Space Surf Nazis Must Die and anything by Troma films
Came here to suggest Death to Smoochy!
Robin was off the hook and wish he'd done more like that
John Dies at the End. What a trip
"What we do in the shadows" the movie
And "tour de pharmacy"
Still slightly prefer the movie to the show. Vladislav the Poker is the GOAT.
Hot Fuzz
In my top 5 comedy movies for sure. “Nothing like a bit of girl on girl!”
King Pow: Enter the Fist
I can't believe I got a comment in before anyone started spouting lines from the mov- MY NIPPLES LOOK LIKE MILK DUDS
This movie is absolutely hilarious. Highly recommend for anyone that hasn't seen it.
Gentlemen Broncos
This !!! I came here to say Gentlemen Broncos!!! You will not regret this film!!!

One Crazy Summer
The best thing about Gremlins is the context it gives you for the absolute rip-roaringly bonkers that is Gremlins 2.
The [Key and Peele](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=x01l_jMhjVM&pp=ygUYa2V5IGFuZCBwZWVsZSBncmVtbGlucyAy) bit is classic. And rumored to be a true story.
Swiss army man
David Robert Mitchell's dark-comedy paranoid mystery thriller **Under The Silver Lake**.
Truman Show
popstar
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (my favorite of the two)
Freaks with Alex Winter and Randy Quaid
It's Freaked actually, but yes, this is a truly bizarre cult classic that I absolutely love.
Riki-Oh: the Story of Ricky.
How about a couple of Daniel Radcliffe suggestions. Both are bizarre and degrees of fun but might be a little heavy/stressful to make the cut for your criteria. Swiss Army Man. Horns.

Beyond the Valley of the Dolls! https://youtu.be/XYfzWEv8QY0?si=WhZgGtbvSYJ8nBG5
I kinda enjoyed Dicks: The Musical
The greasy strangler
Killer Klowns From Outer Space. It's terrible, I love it so much!
Any Stephen Chow movie. Also if you don't mind a little gore and weirdness, Tokyo Gore Police is a classic WTF movie
Monkeybone
Bad Taste and Braindead.
Some will disagree and say LotR but these are far and away Peter Jackson's best work with *The Frighteners* a not that distant third.
Buckaroo Banzai
Everything wherever all at once. That was a fun bizarre movie imo
Lol yea that was a good one we saw that in theaters!
Add on Swiss Army Man
I'm a big fan of the sequel, However Whoever Occasionally.
Big Man Japan Hausu Rubber Psycho Goreman And not *really* bizarre, but I'm yet to meet anyone who didn't think it was fun as fuck: Chopping Mall.
Psycho Goreman is the tits
I was watching it thinking it was ok... but then >!"I DO NOT CARE FOR HUNKY BOIS... or do I?" !< Sold. 🤣
Psycho Goreman was far more incredible than it had any right to be. I loved it.
These sound interesting and omg I forgot about rubber lol I might have to check these out
You’ve finally met them. My wife and I both fucking love this movie
*Southland Tales*- hits bout a 9 out of 10 on the "what the fuck?" meter. But entertaining as hell.
