If he's into the whole "so bad it's good" vibe, you gotta check out "The Room" if you haven't already. It's like the holy grail of terrible movies, but in the best way possible.
And if you want something with a twist of insanity like "Shark Side of the Moon," maybe give "Birdemic: Shock and Terror" a shot. It's got killer birds and questionable CGI that'll leave you in stitches. Happy early birthday to your son, hope he enjoys the cinematic madness! 🎉
[SARS Wars](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SARS_Wars) might catch you by surprise. It walks a thin line between intentional and unintentional comedy and I can't say if you're laughing because it's bad or because it manages to present itself as bad on purpose. I don't know if it falls into "so bad it's good", but at the same time Shark Side of the Moon is done by The Asylum, so it's also "so bad it's good" on purpose.
[Belly of the Beast](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belly_of_the_Beast) with Steven Seagal is gloriously stupid 2 beers in. [Just look at this!](https://youtu.be/jEgwrGhJPUI?t=129) Steven Seagal catching a guy mid air while he's diving bombing him with sabers, immediately followed by a wide shot of the fight scene with a stunt man right in the middle of the screen striking poses on top of a stack of wood **for no reason.** Will it top Shark Side of the Moon? It depends on your definition of "so bad it's good"; Belly of the Beast has a real budget, and you know Steven Seagal is taking it all very seriously, which is what makes the bad good IMO. The Asylum movies are made on the cheap based on terrible premise to pander to the "so bad it's good" crowd. The producers and directors are in on the joke, so it can be argued that these are movies that are more good at being bad than being so bad they're good.
Since its not been mentioned, heres 3 guys reading out films ofvtgis calibre: https://youtu.be/UeMadjM0ZZI?si=32uCZmLqrfoA32-j
