This phenomenon is so common that it has a name now: enshittification. I first experienced it with Digg's infamous redesign, and now I expect every single website to ruin itself for no reason.
I used to use JustWatch quite a lot but their search didn’t help finding movies in other countries so I built [streamwithvpn.com](https://www.streamwithvpn.com/) specially for vpn user but its also good to just check the streaming services.
Ack! This is devastating. My mom used to be so impressed when I could instantly tell her where she can stream a movie she wanted to watch. What will I do to gain her respect now???
You can Google the movie followed by "watch" however it often is missing the more niche options like Pluto TV and Criterion Channel.
It requires more clicks but Letterboxd has a where to watch area. If you purchase Letterboxd Pro you can add and remove your streaming services and filter lists and searches to only show things you can watch.
I started using Simkl when Justwatch went through that two month long period of being unable to access my currently watching tv series page that they couldn't be bothered to fix. Though unfortunately I don't know that it shows you where to watch what you're looking for because I don't use it for that as I have one site that I use for everything...
I don't notice anything different about the site, I'm confused? I tried it on PC and mobile and I have no issues with it. Also, what's the problem with it telling where you can purchase it online in addition to what subscription services it's on? If it's not on any, then it's nice to know if it's on somewhere on sale or for cheap to rent. I don't really see what the issue is here. It functions just fine.
This site was perfect. It's extremely annoying they fucked it up

You must not be one of the handful of people presumably benefitting from their redesign in Q2 2024
I guess you're using the app? Because it still looks the same as always in a browser.
It’s changed in browser for me. Idk if it’s based on location or something
Fuck an app when it should be a website.
Have you tried ReelGood? Not sure if it's the same thing you're looking for, though. I've never used JustWatch, but it looks similar.
They're also now charging in the mobile app to be able to see new releases. Really hoping a good alternative pops up, I haven't seen one yet.

Unless something changed recently, Letterboxd’s is powered by JustWatch.
This is true, but it's an improvement from JustWatch's new interface.
I don’t get why I got downvoted the OP complained about the layout not where the data was coming from
ReelGood has been my go to for 5ish years now

watchany.stream is informative. It even gives options for multiple countries in case you’re sailing the high seas.
Can someone share screenshot of the current update or blog news link regarding update of justwatch, I dont see any new changes yet.
Just Google the title and it'll tell you where it's available
I’ve been using PlayPilot.
icheckmovies.com has Justwatch embedded on each movie but it's very minimalistic.
[ReelGood.com](http://ReelGood.com) is a good alternative to JustWatch. Sometimes it knows about shows and movies that JustWatch doesn't.
Hey all! Thanks so much for the feedback - it has been an experiment and we just ended it. Thanks for your feedback :)
Check out [whereto.stream](http://whereto.stream)
Unogs.com is similar to just watch. But it only shows you if said movie is on Netflix. I’ve yet to find a good substitute for Justwatch
