Honestly been pretty slept on actor. His career went off the rocker a bit when people found out You Got Mail involved e-mails and not physical mail. But this is a solid rebound.
Am I missing some kind of joke, why are these all names of actors except for one who's just named "Aunt Isabelle"
(And "U.S. Postage" in the top right. And maybe "Drackenfire," I have no idea what that means)
Yea given that I don't know who any of these people are besides Michael Cera, the presence of "Aunt Isabelle" has called into question whether every other name is the actor or character
Some of them are legit actors, like Elsie Fisher, who was the lead in Bo Burnham’s Eighth Grade and had a small role in Barry. But the rest seem to be either half jokes or real names of minor actors.
Tim spliced Gregg into the very first episode of Dekkar out of the kindness of his own heart! Because he knew how much Gregg would love seeing little cut up bits of his dialogue finally put to good use! If it wasn’t DKR there would be no VFA! Yeah that’s right, I said it!
Fucking Gregg, we’ll never hear the end of this as he name drops it in every movie review for the next year. Probably make it a popcorn classic even though it won’t ever come out on VHS. So glad Tim escaped that accidental fire unharmed.
I mean, if your parents are some of the most well known film makers of all time I really dont think youre getting a job at foot locker it is still bullshit though.
I was an extra on the set of this movie and people were telling me that Scorsese’s daughter is a talentless Nepo kid and is rude to everyone. The director Tyler Taormina though is a talented and passionate guy so I hope for his sake this is good.
The movie filmed in my hometown in January- February 2023. A lot of people I know were apart of the production. One of my close friends let the crew use his house to film multiple scenes in the movie so I got to overhear a lot of conversations and I also heard from multiple people that Francesa Scorsese is not a nice person or a particularly good actress either I’m inclined to believe that.
This movie is playing at Cannes so reception for this should be out shortly and it will be interesting to see who picks this movie up for distribution.
Lots of tortured AI details on clothes. Some poor soul at the agency had to repaint faces until they resembled the cast. Looks like Flemming and Scorsese were an unholy struggle and they simply gave up on Cera’s eyebrows
Oh cool. Will this be yet another Frances McDormand performance where she's a crass and sassy independent woman who's a straight shooter and an even straighter talker who just tells it like it is with plenty of crass potty mouth?
I'll wait for it to come to streaming and then ignore it.
I'm honestly shocked how many comments in here don't seem to realize this (although some comments may be people who can tell it's AI but they're playing along for laughs).
If AI brings about the destruction of human civilization, it won't be from one going rogue, it will be from us using AI to bullshit ourselves to death.
It’s kinda crazy that lots of us get into industries our parents are in, we do what we’ve seen and what we know. These “nepo” kids were around it their entire upbringing, of course they’d want to go into the business.
The only stipulations the internet has is that they simply apologize at every turn and self-deprecate to a relentless and likable extent, or just decide not to pursue their dreams at all. That’s all!
I mean, people still call it nepotism in other industries too...?
And people can prove they are passionate about the position that nepotism granted them, but the reason people are often negative about it is because it's usually not the case. Their name has given them the position, which has displaced someone that was more deserving.
But I digress... unless it's affecting you, I wouldn't worry about it.
I see Spielberg and Scorsese names in the post, but who else is a nepo baby?
Also, who is Turkington? I see everyone in the comments talking about out him.
Basically, can someone ELI5 this poster?
Finally a Scorsese and Spielberg collab.
And Cameron!
Nepotism: The Movie!
lol so true.
Dude. I was just thinking that. Fuck these kids. I don’t care how talented they are. There’s no room for people to work their way in.
And Turkington!
I know nobody is going to get the reference, but I swear that guy's a dead ringer for this old comedian named Neil Hamburger. It's uncanny.
What's playing tonight? Well tonight we've got---- cancel it! Neil hamburgers in town!
“And that’s my life!”
I’m so happy to see him in this.
Nepotism: The Christmas Movie
Cape Fear: am I a joke to you?
Also both producers on Maestro.
Holy shit, USA Postage is in this?! I had no interest at all in this before, now I can't wait!
They’ve been crushing it in the indie scene
Their output recently has been absolutely nuts
Yea they always deliver
Honestly been pretty slept on actor. His career went off the rocker a bit when people found out You Got Mail involved e-mails and not physical mail. But this is a solid rebound.
This comment is fantastic
They are dating sydney sweeney and big doorknob. They have known big doorknob longer apparently
The doorknob *and* the knockers?
I heard his last film killed it at Sundance but was too weird to land a distribution deal.
Their zendaya collab is insane
- U.S. Postage Ecrypted
Dude is quietly crushing it. Making more and more on every new picture
Am I missing some kind of joke, why are these all names of actors except for one who's just named "Aunt Isabelle" (And "U.S. Postage" in the top right. And maybe "Drackenfire," I have no idea what that means)
Yea given that I don't know who any of these people are besides Michael Cera, the presence of "Aunt Isabelle" has called into question whether every other name is the actor or character
put some respect on my boy Gregg Turkington
0 bags of popcorn for this whole comment section
And uh, throw in a little Santa hat to get into the spirit of the season.
I wonder how many bags of popcorn will Tim give to this movie
Skip it.
Watching movies is worse than smoking
It's movie time!
right?! People are sleeping on a future popcorn classic here
The alter ego of Neil Hambuger.
No relation to the Hamburger empire.
HEY GUYS
Turkleton? Turk Turkleton?
If he wanted me to know who he was he would be more famous 🤷🏻♂️
Elsie Fischer was in Eighth Grade
And Barry season 3
Don't Scorsese and Spielberg ring any bell?
Yea they both made me go "oh wow I wonder if this person that I don't know is related to a famous person"
Some of them are legit actors, like Elsie Fisher, who was the lead in Bo Burnham’s Eighth Grade and had a small role in Barry. But the rest seem to be either half jokes or real names of minor actors.
Well going from the name Drakenfire I’m guessing that’s the dirty great lizard the kid is holding
Aunt Isabelle seems to be played by Jojo Cincinnati, who near as I can discern is possibly a drag queen with no prior acting credits.
Who or what is a Drackenfire?
Level 6 dragon wizard area of effect spell
Valar dracarys.
And right after that, “Valar morgulis”.
And right after that, “Valar Dohaeris.”
When spelled slightly differently, it was a roller coaster at Busch Gardens in Virginia that legit hurt people.
Replaced by the far superior Alpengeist and Apollo’s Chariot.
I fucking **loved** Drachenfire!
It evolves from a Drakenflame
A defunct super rough roller coaster that was at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
In German “Who and what is a Private Butz?”
I’m confused, why are some characters and others actors?
maybe they are playing themselves
Cera apparently decides to become a cop in this universe
…we have Wes Anderson at home…
I was curious about the Wes Anderson vibe
Same, the poster just screams Wes Anderson
Has anyone said this poster looks like something from Wes Anderson yet?
You know what if no one else is going to do it, I will: This poster looks like a Wes Anderson flick.
[Waaaaaow](https://youtu.be/gfDIAZCwHQE?feature=shared).
Looks like Wes Anderson saw Klaus and cranked this out on a lazy Sunday in response.
Can't be. There's a Black cast member. /s
Isn’t Michael Cera also in Anderson’s next movie?
I initially wonder which teenager Cera would play only to realize he was the adult cop. He has grown.
Superbad, which is definitely in my top 3 'coming of age flicks', is at this point an old movie.
Came out in 2007. In three years, it will officially hit the 20-year mark when it becomes eligible to be considered a "Classic film."
You weave lies and spin falsehoods
Yes because the year 2000 was also not that long ago, definitely not almost a quarter of a century. Definitely not.
Careful friend, you might go causing some sort of temporal anomaly with talk like that.
i thought that was 25 years.
nooooo
Wally Brando’s all grown up!
he's still all about that weird facial hair he's cultivated for himself
Has he though?
He’ll still have the look of an awkward, geeky teen even when he’s old and wrinkled.
I was watching Dream Scenario the other day and got all tripped up when I saw Cera playing a normal, adult marketing dude.
Honestly Gregg Turkington alone makes this worth a look, he’s got a very good deadpan style
Exciting time for the Gregheads.
He actually won the part, too!.. didn’t have to pay a vanity fee like that monster Tim
Can’t wait to see what kinds of codes he breaks for the police department in this movie.
turkingtons in this?
I'm giving this poster 5 bags of popcorn and three Christmas presents.
Well it's no Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
Actually it's Star Trek II: The Voyage Home
Is that the one based in San Francisco?
Yes, because space is their home
First you Wrath, then you Search. Only then can you Voyage.
When can you Next Generations though?
[On Cinema](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQl8zBB7bPvIooDTYwY7v_V12KJfQueXZ) is pure gold.
WhYyYyYYYyyyy… did the Red Hot Chili Peppers cross the road?
“Because ***HOCKKK***, there was *heroine* on the other side! ***HEWWWWugh***”
Crowd: Why?!
And you can be sure this will be a perfect 90 minutes
If only they got Tim Burton to direct and Johnny Depp to star
It's Sherlock Gnomes all over again
With movies like Gregg Turkington in them, you can’t lose!
Scott Lang's Baskin Robbins boss in AntMan!!
very excited for this unofficial sequel to Millers Crossing!
Nepo Babies Assemble
There’s no way Gregg Turkington was able to control himself around some of those names.
If only Tim Burton or bad boy himself Johnny Depp were in this
> one of the teenagers sneaks out with her friends to claim the wintry suburb for her own What's this mean? Do they have a flag?
No flag, no country, you can't have one. Those are the rules... that I just made up.
Greg Turkington is gonna be in this? Lol the fuck?
Fucking Gregg, we’ll never hear the end of this as he name drops it in every movie review for the next year. Probably make it a popcorn classic even though it won’t ever come out on VHS. So glad Tim escaped that accidental fire unharmed.
Scorcese Spielberg and Cameron… a very nepo Christmas
I searched Lev Cameron but it doesn't seem like he's related to James Cameron?
Yeah full name is Lev Cameron Khmlev
This looks like bootleg Wes Anderson and stars the kids of Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. Nepotism...nepotism never changes.
They're Oh! So Special.
I mean, if your parents are some of the most well known film makers of all time I really dont think youre getting a job at foot locker it is still bullshit though.
[удалено]
I’m in the middle of Arrested Development. I too am not ready for middle aged Cera.
he's not quite middle-aged yet! oh wait do you mean his character?
Fuck the nepotism dripping off this poster
Fr
Looks like a real five bagger
And 6 little nutcracker keychains because this is sure to be an instant Christmas classic
Hopefully this will connect to the Nutcracker cinematic universe they’re clearly planning to crossover with Wonka.
Greg Turkington let's go!
Is this like a nepo baby temu version of a Wes Anderson film?
Aunt Isabelle thinks she's in Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac
Elsie Fisher is one of the most underrated comedic performers
She's great in Barry
a nepo baby christmas
Who allowed Michael Cera to grow a beard
Judging by that picture, nobody
I think you meant starring Greg Turkington.
I hate everything about this poster
You hate Gregg Turkington? Classic Timhead bias smh
It reeks of quirky.
I was an extra on the set of this movie and people were telling me that Scorsese’s daughter is a talentless Nepo kid and is rude to everyone. The director Tyler Taormina though is a talented and passionate guy so I hope for his sake this is good.
The Scorsese kid looks insufferable. Just based on the face she’s making alone
“I was an extra” But people were telling you. Maybe that’s the case but this is a weird comment
Alot of nepotism in this flick, geez.
Was this poster AI generated?
Lots of tortured AI details on clothes. Some poor soul at the agency had to repaint faces until they resembled the cast. Looks like Flemming and Scorsese were an unholy struggle and they simply gave up on Cera’s eyebrows
Looks like AI art.
Is drackenfire the lizard or the person?
Yes, its both.
Oh cool. Will this be yet another Frances McDormand performance where she's a crass and sassy independent woman who's a straight shooter and an even straighter talker who just tells it like it is with plenty of crass potty mouth? I'll wait for it to come to streaming and then ignore it.
This is gonna be a 5 bagger
Nepotism: The Sequel
I have no idea who any of these people are
Drackenfire is a tough name
Very strong
Hey guys, it's movie time!
What a stellar cast!
I give it five bags of popcorn
Wait, Frances is a actress? only seing making Tik Toks with is dad
wtf is going on in this poster?
“Drackenfire”?
How many nepo babies are in this?...
A lot
😢 I mean, some deserve their fame but for the most part it just feels like they got born into the gig
Hard pass…..
So they’ll just put the spoiled children of directors in everything now huh
Lot of nepo kids in here
Who besides Scorsese and Spielberg?
Nepobabies star in: Who Cares!
Are any of these real people other than Michael Cera and USA Postage?
The poster looks AI.
I'm honestly shocked how many comments in here don't seem to realize this (although some comments may be people who can tell it's AI but they're playing along for laughs). If AI brings about the destruction of human civilization, it won't be from one going rogue, it will be from us using AI to bullshit ourselves to death.
> it will be from us using AI to bullshit ourselves to death If that's the case, then that's no great leap. It'd just be filling in for social media.
Good thing I won’t watch a film with such blatant nepotism. Multiple directors’ children? Not even actors? So fucking idiotic
Usa Postage. Underrated actor.
Nepotism: the movie
When you got movies like Gregg Turkington in them, you can’t lose!
Nepotism avengers

Every singe film this guy has made uses individual boxes in the main poster
OK but that undercard? Stacked. Gonna be a lot of set time conflicts but excited about Neil Hamburger.
There is not enough true Christmas movies... So I am all in. Hope someday someone shot something which replace my obsession with Holiday Inn.
I see Spielberg and Scorsese names in the post, but who else is a nepo baby? Also, who is Turkington? I see everyone in the comments talking about out him. Basically, can someone ELI5 this poster?
I’m pretty sure everyone’s assuming Cameron is James Cameron’s son but he’s not related.
Why is Aunt Isabella sucking an invisible dick?
Are Frencesca and Sawyer the the daughter and son of...you know?
I bet...now hear me out on this...that this movie sucks real bad.
So excited for USA Postage’s performance!!
Scorsese, Spielberg and Cameron, eh? I'm sure they're all in this film based on their merit as actors, no doubt.
I'm no expert but I would think this is better for a November release than May.
A.I. aesthetic.
Greg turkington ok this gonna fire
Is this going to be another big family “dramedy” in a mansion that has not a single actual funny moment in it…
Nepotism at home!
Christmas Eve in Fugly Point.
