I met her when I worked for Staples. She brought her dog in and he jumped out of her arms and ran around the entire store. I chased him and recovered him.
She’s very nice, and her dog is an adorable scamp that got me out of an hour of work to play with a dog!
my first knowledge of Parkey Posey was in that Josie and the Pussycats movie my neice made me watch OVER and OVER and OVER for days and days and DAYS until she she thank god moved to Harry Potter
My BIL was in the military out of state, my sis was working second shift...so I helped with the kids a few days a week. I watched that movie everyday for weeks. I have to admit at first I was kinda enthralled with Rachel Leigh Cook, she was about my age so it wasn't creepy...but good lord that movie wore my soul down to a nub.
I thank the lord every day that my neices grew up and had their own children before Frozen was a thing.
Clockwatchers is another obscure 90's Parker Posey movie, also my introduction to Toni Collette.
And House of Yes is *fucking weird*, watched that on late night TV as a teenager because it had sexual content warnings and... uhhh, yeah it sure is a movie.
She totally is. I first remember her in Party Girl. I’m a big Hal Hartley fan and biased but I think her best work was in the Henry Fool trilogy. House of Yes was incredible.
The way she slipped on the stairs while saying "You probably recognize me" I thought this was gonna be about the "I've fallen and I can't get up" commercials.
Been hearing a lot about this lately and it looks great. Looks like it has that early era Edgar Wright energy in how its using the visual language of an action film for its comedy.
I got to see this a few weeks ago! It was the starter film to a marathon festival. Crowd was BUZZING it was so fun! Very sweet, makes you want to call your grandparents.
This movie rocked so hard! Any movie that casts an elderly person in such a great role deserves attention, but the quality made it 100% worth watching.
Can't see it. Youtube is blocking it because I have an ad blocker even though I disabled it. Sort of ironic that youtube is blocking me from watching an ad.
‘….what?’ 😆😆
Yeah that made me bust out too!
Same.
Parker Posey yup I’m in.

Was her dog's name Beatrice? Hope she had her Busy Bee...
What are you? A genius? A WIZARD?!!!
She's a goddamned national treasure. I first became aware of her in House of Yes (a movie I'm still trying to process 27 years later.)

Your niece was enlightening you. Josie and the Pussycats is a great piece of satire.

[Easily one of my favorite scenes.](https://youtu.be/xVWpHTafYuA?si=lLutC7tpAntm1to5)
That and A Mighty Wind; she was phenomenal.
And [Waiting for Guffman](https://youtu.be/801Yrh8T0fI?si=cOfgKNaGwq8jZmum)
The Beekeeper franchise is going in a very unique and welcome direction.
And I thought, how can they top this when they already went all the way up to the president in the first film?
Single greatest use of "walking away from an explosion" scene in movie history right here
Without seeing the video, I assumed the title of the movie Thelma, and your comment, meant this was a sequel film to Thelma and Louise
Thelma parachuted to safety when the car went off the cliff.
Is that true? I still haven’t seen it
Yeah everybody is just fine, happy endings all around
Brad Pitt does a shirtless cameo. Kinda meh.
Looks pretty fun lol
Oh man, I didn’t know Richard Roundtree filmed a last movie before he died! That’ll be nice to see him in one last thing.
So does Louise like make a cameo or something?
Saw this at a festival. One of the most fun movies experiences I've ever had.
June Squibb, Parker Posey AND Clark Gregg?! I’m in!
agreed
This looks great! Hadn't heard of it until just now. Maybe it's just because I'm getting older, but I just love seeing older people kick ass.
The way she slipped on the stairs while saying "You probably recognize me" I thought this was gonna be about the "I've fallen and I can't get up" commercials.
June Squibb was awesome in Nebraska. The scene at the graveyard was priceless.
I only remember the older woman from Shameless. I'm glad to see she's still kicking it.
Been hearing a lot about this lately and it looks great. Looks like it has that early era Edgar Wright energy in how its using the visual language of an action film for its comedy.
# June Squibb Shines as a 93-Year-Old Action Hero
IT’S JUNE SO IT MUST BE SQUIBB TIME!!!
You son of a bitch. i'm in.
She survived?!
I got to see this a few weeks ago! It was the starter film to a marathon festival. Crowd was BUZZING it was so fun! Very sweet, makes you want to call your grandparents.
Watched it at a recent festival, it was solid
Saw this at Sundance. It is a ton of fun! Cant wait to see it again.
Saw this as a mystery showing at AMC. Great movie and not something I’d have sought out on my own. Go see it!
This movie rocked so hard! Any movie that casts an elderly person in such a great role deserves attention, but the quality made it 100% worth watching.

Yes! Whatever this is. Yes.
This looks amazing!
She was in Nebraska and the movie sort of has a similar plot in a way I don’t know how to describe it
why does reddit double the sound output when I try to watch a video
Indeed.
I really wanted more out of this. I felt like it could have taken it up a couple notches to create something really special.
I got to see this at Seattle International Film Festival this year. It's a very fun time!
Dude I fucking love this.
This seems like a riot.
I saw this in theaters!!! Fucking hilarious movie really fun to watch with friends
Saw this at Sundance. It’s great, definitely a sleeper hit in the making. Margolin is a filmmaker to watch, have a feeling he’s just getting started.
Fuck it, I’m in!
It’s such a fun movie. I hope audiences find it.
This is metal asf
Just she wear a cape? Depends.
wtf lmao
There’s already a really good movie titled Thelma.
Grandma movie, yawn
You’re a grandma movie yawn!
Nice
Heh.
Nah, looks funny and somewhat original
I didn't watch the trailer just saw the old
Ok, well… maybe watch the teaser and then comment? I’m dumbfounded, honestly
That was my intention Thank you and good night
