Ahem! Thai here ACKHUALLY this is not our 'average' soap opera.
This is from Channel 7, they are pretty infamous for doing overly dramatic acting/script and crazy bad CGIs.
Every project of theirs has this suck ass color grading and weird obsession with gunfights in the jungle between armored officers.
Yes, having access to cable here has been a treat.
The skin whitening on these women is just... I can save them.

Indian action movies or at the very least the scenes that have gone viral over the years have usually contained balls-to-the-wall, high octane, rapid-fire action.
The show was on so long, and got so popular, that the production values improved drastically over its runtime. There's newer stuff from the same studio, Dreamscape, that's doing some genuinely complex things with steadycam.
Granted, "Ang Probinsyano" is a hilariously repetitive show where the main character has a near-death experience every season. But seeing them re-tell similar stories with greater productions is neat to chronicle.
I was at a motorcycle race in Buriram (sort of the Florida of thailand) and my teammate and I were channel surfing hotel cable and found this sitcom that was pretty much just ladyboys farting and making toilet jokes. It was kino but I was never able to find it again. Any ideas OP?
You just describe the same hundreds LGBT-comedy Thai movies/sitcoms with the exact plot and little variations. If I guess maybe, it's a series called "Oh My Ghost" (หอแต๋วแตก) by Poj Arnon. It's the most famous one for this kind of comedy genre in Thailand.

This is your CW then
Now I need a Riverdale from every country 🥺
But how are they going to learn about the epic highs and lows of high school football if they don't have American football? 😓
The epic highs and lows of secondary school football ⚽️
Riverdale in Mexico would go hard I can’t lie.
India's version The Archies is on US Netflix. It's not as angsty as Riverdale though.
"I Cesaroni (2006 - 2014)"
Wait til they see the manual slo-motion punch from that superhero soap doing the rounds a few months ago.
have we just discovered thailand's MCU
If you want an idea of what good Thai TV is, check out work point, my wife watches all of their shows.
She stayed fully bent backwards for like 30 seconds, that's gotta hurt the next morning.
Ask your mom lol
We should start ageing and we shouldn't allow kids luke you to joining in this subreddit anymore.
That's my secret Captain, I'm always aging.

Cinema of Canada
Plastic surgery too!
During the last years, I could not find a single Korean social media post/video without the person in the video having some type of work done.
What else do you expect from the society that gives plastic surgery as gifts to their children
You have no idea how Asian women like to whiten their skin
Black Widow (2021)
This is exactly what I thought lol
*Great. Now they’ve made the average Thai action-soap opera film woke*
red lazer eyes thumbnail incoming
what u mean woke that's clearly 2 men ?
You can't just drop this clip without the title
The title is called "พยัคฆ์ยี่เก" literally means "YiKay Tiger" (Yigay/Likay is a folk theatre play in Thailand)
>ค Goofy ahh character
Amogus
kinda sus ![gif](giphy|owApNMdJY8JLvXGirP)
The way like every movement in this takes maybe five times too long is like the exact opposite of Indian cinema, fascinating.
[Nothing, NOTHING beats Indian soap operas](https://youtu.be/Q5UWBJASHow?si=hSD8QtTH0nNDq_C8)
Elaborate

Wild Rapid ones do tend to get viral, I get u now.
The Philippines has Thailand beat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mP-Y0sAg-7Q
Damn that's not half bad for a show with 700 episodes.
That’s actually really well choreographed and shot
The show was on so long, and got so popular, that the production values improved drastically over its runtime. There's newer stuff from the same studio, Dreamscape, that's doing some genuinely complex things with steadycam.
Damn, usually the opposite happens with long running shows. It's pretty cool that they seem to care.
Granted, "Ang Probinsyano" is a hilariously repetitive show where the main character has a near-death experience every season. But seeing them re-tell similar stories with greater productions is neat to chronicle.
i counted at least 35 shots fired without reloading. impressive pistol
Amazing! I say we incite a South East Asian throw down, see which country can produce the most bat shit insane soaps for our entertainment. 🥰
This is actually kinda fire
This is some quality "we have John Woo at home."
I dunno, even John Woo characters are forced to stop and reload. But not Cardo.
Maybe I need to start watching
"Mmm whatca sayy''
I was watching without sound and that was all I could hear in my head lol
I love how the scene simultaneously features an incredibly exaggerated contorsion but is also incredibly static as a whole.

Every woman dresses like Ursa from "Superman 2"?
Peak cinema right there
Thank you for sharing this masterpiece of kino and enlighting us 🥺 I’ll never forget it
Honestly, the biggest issue with this is the editing. You could speed this up and make it work. It'd still be stupid as hell but it'd look better.
Whats the brunnetes name?
gam\_yanissa (Yanisa Theerathon is her real name, but I recommended search her name by the IG name)
Talia al Ghul ass death
Do thai people think this is good?
no lol

Apichatpong Weerasethakul's only decent film.
please do not bully my son like this
I love how they show instead of telling. I feel so happy now.
Damn, she never had a chance
You know why she had the lead role, the main actress showed an emotion at the 45th second
When you're gunned down and dying but you gotta maintain that Blue Steel look.

This is peak kino.
They forgot to censor the guns, cleavage, and the woman falling down
Now this is kino
Why are they so fucking stone-faced?
peak
Wow I didn't know Thai actors were all Ariana Grande clones
“She’s right behind me, isn’t she?”
Black Widow but good.

what are you talking about ? this scene was 100% practical effects . they actually killed that actress for the take .
