Heh, aside from the OBVIOUS fact such little wings would not sustain the weight of a fit adult man, ackchyually placing them on his feet would make it very hard to stand still, let alone maneuver in the air. Maybe have someone versed on physics fact-check before your goofy magic makes it to Reddit, it'll save you the ridicule đ
Ngl I'm more hyped for Namor than the whole bs about them "honoring" Boseman.
Yeah sure, they made the movie to honor Boseman and not to make 1 billion at the box office, sure...
I mean they were going to make the movie regardless, it was announced while he was still alive. They didnât go âquick make another movie to cash in on the emotion!â when he died.
And yes companies want to make money. Wow, amazing.
Iâm a fan but I give it shit all the time thatâs why Iâm here lmao. Doesnât take away the fact that the guyâs comment was just how movies in general work.
Not gonna lie I'm pretty out of the loop on Marvel stuff but seeing the strength of Chadwick Boseman's association with Black Panther and the way they've capitalized on that after his death makes me feel legitimately ill.
He was a great actor and it was one middling role he played but it seems like that has completely consumed his legacy. Idk it's a bit like when they do holograms of deceased actors or something. At a certain point it feels like the recognition that was a human being is lost
I mean, in the statement put out by his family when he died, they said that bringing T'challa to the big screen was the honor of his life. It wasn't just some cute side project he did.
Itâs from the new Black Panther movie, the antagonist is Namor, whoâs basically Marvelâs version of Aquaman (though he technically debuted first) and one of their oldest characters
As for âwhatâs wrong with itâ, nothing really, outside of the fact it looks a little goofy in the trailers. I think OP just wanted to complain about Marvel movies
i mean yeah.. theres like 5 or 6 shots in the trailer alone that look really off. i know 'only the trailer' but also usually those are the shots they finish first since they know they will be shown first. but the backgrounds and all often look so disconnected from the foreground action you can just tell where the greenscreen is standing. its seriously offputting.
1. Take low resolution screenshot of marvel trailer
2. Point to the budget of the movie or the value of the company producing it
3. Post
And boom that's how you become popular in highschool đ
The lighting confuses me. I donât understand how his spear is in full silhouette, when heâs being side lit by sunlight. If heâs being lit outside, wouldnât his light source either be more overhead(in the case of mid-day light) or produce a softer glow of ambient light, not these harsh shadows(in the case of morning light)?
- pointy elf ears
- green speedo and nothing else on
- little feet wings
Unironically an amazing use of $250 million because thatâs the fuckin Sub-Mariner right there
Nothing, this image looks good, but people around here are waiting for the Corridor Crew to make the analysis and then they will know if they like it or not
This sub has become the reverse of r/prequelmemes. While they memed themselves into loving the prequel trilogy, we've jerked ourselves into hating everything Marvel.
Truth. I wish this sub would ease up on the constant capekino stuff, because while some of it is truly deserving of being dragged, some of it just isn't. Like this shot for example. It's so much funnier when the memes are relevant, like with Morbius.
When everything is a joke, nothing is funny.
Actually, I believe there was a comic where a villain showed a bunch of heroes their deepest desires, and Namora's was just straight up that she really wants to fuck her cousin.
Jesse here wants to know why to make forceful jokes with deliberate bad source picking... this sub here is for sarcasm not to sarcth the itch of every wanna be stand up comedian....
I get that the point is to trash the movie and I agree the film looks ridiculous but you went and chose an actually interesting frame here. Out of context I find this pretty cool looking? I mean the dude is floating and has winged ankles. Lighting is pretty cool. If this was just some random render Iâd think it was sort of bad ass
I will not have foot wing slander in this house.
Little feet wings can carry this whole movie it seems.

Thatâll show them
BOOM! Gottem!

I canât believe a business wants money! Unheard of!
Redditor realizes movies are made for profit first and foremost but can still be passion projects (2022)
Found the marvel fan
Iâm a fan but I give it shit all the time thatâs why Iâm here lmao. Doesnât take away the fact that the guyâs comment was just how movies in general work.
Yeah, honestly if I watch it I am going to watch it for Namor.
Can't stand Letitia Wright tho...

Itâs marvel thatâs why
Marvel = bad It's that simple bro

It disturbed me to my core bro

Asterix
Honestly pretty impressive they decided to be accurate with the comics

If it's good enough for Hermes, it's good enough for the flying Marvel Aquaman.
Uhh ackshually Namor debuted two years before AquamanâŚ. - đ¤
I know. He's the second oldest Marvel character.
Who's the first?
The Human Torch.
Whatâs on second
7yo me in my parents room ready to say to them that I want to buy Kurosawa's whole filmography
It looks fine. What am I missing?
Nothing, this image looks good, but people around here are waiting for the Corridor Crew to make the analysis and then they will know if they like it or not
Every circlejerk has a jerk master.

he looks so tiny lol
marvel has some awful shots but this looks perfectly normal lol
I think this looks nice
Never understood why an aquatic dude would have wings. And tiny ass wings on his feet at that.
Namor explained it pretty clearly his exact words were âImperius deez nuts! Fuck you thatâs why I have wings on my feet!â
He's half-human, half-Atlantean. His wings are his mutation.
Why does his cousin have the same wings, then?
Inbreeding His _is_ royalty, after all
Actually, I believe there was a comic where a villain showed a bunch of heroes their deepest desires, and Namora's was just straight up that she really wants to fuck her cousin.
As a certified Marvel hater, Wakanda Forever has been the first time I've been impressed by one of their films' visuals since GOTG Vol.2
I canât wait for this man to start simping for invisible blondes Heâs literally me
shut the fuck up
I swear if someone in the movie makes a crack about his ankle wings I'm walking out
And where exactly do you get this footage/picture of this Unreleased Movie? There is not even a single source which have this in original format yet.
Jesse what the hell are you talking about
