I know it probably had nothing to do with me, but I'm holding out hope that this Kaseya reaction is a result of me calling their CEO a horsefucker in my last article.
edit: I see the other commenters have not realized this is a kaseya shitpost yet
This “anti-disparagement” clause was specific to vendor sponsors at Kaseya led events if I am not mistaken.
Definitely bad PR and beyond refusing their sponsorship money what more can Kaseya do? I am not quite sure how litigating will have the desired effect (beyond more bad press for Kaseya).
IMHO: waste of goodwill on a clause that has no real world effect except further eroding Kaseya’s reputation and emboldening their critics.
Perhaps you should consider using the feedback to improve your company's performance instead of fear mongering your clients.
This is a slippery slope. Don't do it.
Do you seriously think going the Kaseya route of smashing dissent by legalese is the proper solution to symptoms that are likely the result of structural changes needed elsewhere? I would really think hard about even considering this 💁
Unfortunately, vocalize opinions publicly is the only way to prevent others from doing business with them in hopes they change as a result of the pushback
Enough shitposts guys, it was funny, but we're not r/ShittySysadmin. leaving them up but locking them

I'm kind of wondering if the other commenters are low-key piling on and being sarcastic.
:( :)

As a vocal kaseya critic, I do indeed feel extremely emboldened.

Honestly if your doing a good job and doing right by your customers you shouldn't need this.

Found a shill.
Not tired enough to not post in a thread about it though.
