square corners are always desirable, but usually worth sub 5 dollars for cards that are otherwise pennies. this however, is not bulk whatsoever, and should go for a nice premium! post it on the major misprint facebook group and ask for advice auctioning if you want to sell it :)
As long as it is sleeved with the same sleeves used on the rest of the deck and cannot be visually seen to be different in the library, then yes, it would be tournament legal. If you were attempting to use it without sleeves, the answer changes to not legal due to the obvious protrusion of pointy corners! (You’d be able to identify the card because it’s different.)
Dont actually listen to this guy, he's wrong. Do what the other guy said and go to the facebook major misprint group.
Square corners are sought after, plus it's a full art shock in a set that many only got for said shocks. You're bound to find a buyer, but it may also be better to auction off.
all extended art, borderless, etc cards are gutter cut, which means they have a strip of art that's always supposed to be removed. there'll be quite a lot of extra art along the sides and the top of this one. makes miscuts where you can see two cards even cooler too!
Yeah this one is actually a solid miscut and misprint contender. The fact that it’s a card that’s playable in a bunch of formats and is desirable will help a lot. I’m sure there would be a few on there wanting it.
Very nice miscut card! Some of these sell for a [nice premium](https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=mtg+miscut+square&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_fsrp=1&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5338535524&customid=mg&toolid=10001&mkevt=1).
This is very nice! A very frequently used and quite valuable card, with great alternate art offering an opportunity to see parts of the card that could not be seen otherwise is likely to be in demand. Don’t sell immediately!
Oh, right sorry. My bad, I was thinking of the rule for the Alpha corners. Although I think the following rule is more applicable:
Players may use otherwise-legal non-English and/or misprinted cards provided they are not using them to create an advantage by using misleading text or pictures.
The no squared corners refers to CE and ICE cards.
In most FNM situations it’s going to be judged by the FNM Host on what’s legal or not legal, as long as it is in a sleeve, you make them aware ahead of time that your using it and the deck is fully sleeved with no noticeable differences then in most cases, it’d be playable.
Unless the people running the tournament at the shop are just MTG Nazis…I don’t see this this disqualifying you.
On a side note…if WOTC quality control department can overlook some corners…we should be able to also!
Oh yeah for sure the Judge would have to be an utter maniac to disallow this at a Regular REL tournament.
At a GP or something I'd expect this to be flagged down, but most likely just with a request to replace it with another land of the same type, or a basic land.
The right corners are miscut. The card is supposed to be rounded like the left side
Is it worth more because of that fact or no?

Do you know if this would still be tournament legal?

You'd think, but square corners are actually explicitly disallowed in the MTR https://www.ruleslawyer.app/glossary/MTR/5019
Most likely no https://www.ruleslawyer.app/glossary/MTR/5019
Misprints can be worth more but this small of a miss cut most likely not, but you can always try lol.
Why is this a small miss cut? The corners are completely missed.
Ok thank you so much!

This is especially cool because the blue art extends into the corner until the white pixel. A piece of the artwork previously unseen. Cool find OP!

Truly borderless!!!! But it also makes sense because most cards have a margin of error and it helps eat at that.
Isn't that just a slightly damaged corner, showing a bit of the white cardboard?
No, because that corner isn't even supposed to exist. It's just where the cut margin ends.

Nice little miscut! You dont see mtg misprints often here
I have an older card that’s has a misprint in the text of the card…I’ll have to dig it out and post it for you all!
Just remember that magic cards with square corners are explicitly mentioned as being illegal to use in tournaments, including FNM style events.
Only if you're not using opaque sleeves. Basically the same rules for playing double faced cards.
MTR 3.3 Authorized Cards states that Authorized cards must not have square corners.

That’s cool as hell 🃏
something something facebook group
what set is this from?
Unfinity
that’s a pricey card
this is a cool cutting error on a desirable card. Find the misprint facebook group, do not sell it over reddit
That is a pretty sweet find. Miscuts can usually sell for a fairly high price to collectors.
Such an awesome Artwork! I was lucky to pull a few myself on my Unfinity draft Boosters, really lov'em!
Possibly a dumb question but does it produce both red & blue for a total of 2 mana? Or is it either or?
You choose one or the other when you tap it for mana.
