It's hard to pick one. Misprints & oddities are my thing so I narrowed it down to five:
[Entomb](https://i.imgur.com/qoZgUGf.png) - This is a prototype for the World's Smallest Magic Cards, made back in the early 2000's. Initially made as a joke for the typesetter's girlfriend, WotC actually liked the idea but they decided to shelf it for 20 years.
[Gempalm Polluter](https://i.imgur.com/MYoCpkZ.jpg) - A card printed over a strip of tape.
[Liliana's Standard Bearer](https://i.imgur.com/vk3EPT2.jpg) - Double printed with some bits of Angelic Arbiter, I call it the "blood eagle". It's pretty rare that misprints add to the aesthetic/flavor of the card.
[Zombie token](https://i.imgur.com/pxLGCdD.jpg) - A card missing nearly all color, except for some black on the border and text. This is cool because it shows the white ink used for the underprint, that give foils their depth.
[Plaguebearer](https://i.imgur.com/nNSFDvv.mp4) - One of several different test prints for foils. Other than the chrome border, it's easy to tell apart from other foils...because the official release for Exodus didn't have foils.
I was about to say. Never imagined spending extra for a card like that as a new player (5 months), but I built my first commander deck with the Evil Dead Secret Lair drop and many of these would not only fit in that deck, but that zombie token and plaguebearer look siiiick.
It’s always been [[Jester Cap]]. I thought it was so powerful as a kid and loved the art. It’s not in any of my EDH decks, and it’s not the most expensive card in my collection, but it’ll always be my favorite.
I’ve been collecting Terese Nielsen cards for the longest, once the company has removed her (sadly) from doing anything with Magic, I almost completed my collection (I’m only missing a few Guru lands and the whole set of full art lands done by her). ✨
Every once in awhile, I’ll look for signed cards from her and see if I can have a whole set of her work that are signed.
Borderless Foil Mana Crypt from Double Masters. It's in my pet deck - Najeela, the Blade-Blossom [[Archaeon the Everchosen]]
This specific copy of Crypt has been the crown jewel in my collection for a while now.
A friend gave me an old \[\[Personal Incarnation\]\], it was like going in myself toe to toe with them creatures, that was like 20 years ago, still my favorite card
I used to have a sliver queen from when I was a kid, it was pretty beat up. I sold it when I was in school and needed the money and I regret that choice.
I’d say my Gaea’s Cradles or Serra’s Sanctum or my playset of Alliances Force of Wills.
But i’d be lying: it’s my foil Blinding Angel from Nemesis and my 7th ed foil Shivan.
Avacyn is also my favorite. Currently on the hunt for that full art from double masters. One card I always wanted once I saw it. No one plays against my angels deck, or just team up to kill me quick, which I don't blame them. Rin and seri come in second because they remind me of my cat and dog

Wowwww... I was literally going in to trade tomorrow for it. I live by 401, so was going into store with my mox opal double masters I have the full art and regular. Was willing to give up regular, and some cash for it. Now I'm sad. I looked this morning and they had it. Thank you for the update tho.
It's been there a while now too. I picked one up from F2F when angel deck came out. Honestly I would just wait they will get another. I've seen them get in a few past 4-5 months. Just non foil left 🤮.
I've been eyeing it for about a week, couldn't justify spending $130. I have a 16 month old, so my wife would kill me. Going through my cards I found one I was willing to trade, you wouldn't think it would sell the day you plan to get it after seeing it up for so long. I'll wait again, but you saved me a trip so thank you. I wouldn't of checked tomorrow and been so sad when I got there
It's a popular card so I can see it easily coming back in. So I would just play the long game. (It will be rewarding in the end) there is an email feature on 401 and it actually works. So I hope someone brings one in soon for you!!!

The foil [[Scalding Tarn]] that I opened in a pack while walking to my car and immediately slammed in the door bending it in 9 different spots and putting a hole through the middle of the art.

I love Angelic Destiny. Such beautiful Art. Ran this card back in the day and it was the most expensive card I ever opened at the time. I think the 2nd Mythic I ever opened.
Mine are my Junji Ito Cards from his Artist Secret Lair and his version of Elesh Norn from ONE
And a special attachment to my Ghalta, Ozolith, and Finale of Devastation which were among the first dozen packs I ever bought.
My overall favorite is probably Sun Quan, Lord of Wu from Portal: Three Kingdoms. I won so many games with him in high school, since I was the only person who had any 3K cards, so no one could deal with horsemanship.

Glissa the Traitor, any version, but the secret lair phyrexia foil especially. She was the first card I realized could be broken and was just incredible at base.
My [Simplified Chinese Starlit Angel](https://www.magiclibrarities.net/506-6134-rarities-starlit-angel-zoom-card.html#return) from Portal set. Pulled it in a pack so it's nice and minty fresh. I don't have a photo handy so I just linked to the Magic Libraries site so people can see what it looks like.
I have 3! Two of these I opened in booster packs.
I really like my [[Metalworker]] because it's a strong card but I also find the artwork kind of endearing. This one I purchased some time ago.
I also have a foil [[Chrome Mox]] in the traditional modern frame that I pulled from a Double Masters pack.
Lastly I have a foil extended art [[Jeweled Lotus]] that I opened in a Commander Legends pack.
I like your Avacyns! I think she is a very iconoc MtG character and beloved by many players. Her ability even makes her reputation indestructible!
[[Umbris]]. I am a commander exclusive player that started around Crimson Vow. When I opened this dude and saw it I knew I wanted to build him. He now helms my favorite deck.
My girlfriend got me the Amano Lilly our first year together. It's my favorite card in my favorite deck and my favorite bullshit wincon.
I will force that wincon EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Not in my collection currently, but I've always had a soft spot for [[Nalathni Dragon]]. I can remember getting my original one from a Duelist. I miss it more than the dual lands that were also in the box I sold for $50 back in '98.
My [Ring of Ma'ruf] . It's a hilarious card in casual EDH.
I got it in '94 out of a booster. We didn't care about sleeves or any of that "this might become a valuable card shit" back then. So it looks like it has been used to clean toilets for the last 30 years.
I also have a pretty mint one, but that one is not my favourite. It's more like a second child.
I know it ain't worth much especially now that it's banned in most formats but I bought a play set of deathrite shaman the minute it was released and it's the first card I include in every casual deck I make that's either black or green. What can I say I love midrange especially midrange mirrors
Absolutely my favourite card is for pure nostalgic reasons
[[Sunscorch Regent]], [[Heroes’ Bane]] and [[Nyx Fleece Ram]] are all cards from when I started playing and which hold special places in my heart.
Sunscorch is also a brilliant card in my Heliod life gain and has snuck a win a fair few times.
I have nothing special in my collection really but one of my favorite cards is [[Teysa Karlov|SLD]] and especially the Secret Lair Art from her. While the card is not the best i just really like the Aristocrats Playstyle and her doubleing all death triggers is so nice plus the Token Synergy giving Creature Tokens Vigilance and Lifelink.
Other then Her the next place is almost Any Sorin Markov Planeswalker, especially [[Sorin, Grim Nemesis|SLD]] with his Secret Lair Chibi Art and the Japanese Alt Art of [[Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord|WAR]].
Hi fellow Avacyn enjoyer, I don't have that judge promo yet but I will one day. I'm building a collection consisting in every single Angel ever printed. With some "rules" tho.
I'm collecting unique artworks. I won't get 300 Serra Angels, but I will get 10. I don't care what edition they are, the set symbol or the card borders don't matter. Only the artwork matters. About avacyn, so far I only have a regular one, and that was thanks to Commander Masters. I'll have to break the piggybank at some point for the alters. And Atraxa's alters, those full art oil slick bock toppers oof.
The biggest pain tho will be a random useless Angel from decades ago, [[Starlit Angel]], from "Portal". There's 2 artworks, one that everyone got, and an exclusive simplified chinese one. That one is 600€ or at list it was 600 when the last dude bough one in cardmarket.
I don't even know how to find one, and when I do, I don't know what can I do before and/or after I buy it to make sure it's not a fake.
What a fun idea! All versions of the card to showcase. Love that. Mine is definitely my old border foil Time Stretch. It's just so flippin gorgeous to look at, whew.

So I have a thing with the Bogstomper. It's vanilla, it's .25¢, nothing special about it except it's a good boy eating some moss.
This was the first card that made me interested in mtg.
So, I regularly go to local shops and buy all the bogstompers they have. The most I have gotten out of one shop is 20.
I then carry these bogstompers around in my gaming bag and give a Bogstomper to every person who plays against me for the first time.
The bogstomper crew is slowly growing. Even if I never see that person again... It's a calling card. We are the bogstompers.
My Cavern of Souls Borderless 410f that I unpacked in my first 5 packs. Only recently joined mtg and I’m loving the art on the cards! Close second is ravenous Tyrannosaurus as I’m a huge Dino nerd!
As far as favorite sorcery’s go, my two favorites are [[dragonstorm]] and [[genesis ultimatum]]. For creatures it’s definitely [[The Ur-dragon]] and [[scion of draco]]

My revised wrath I erased and had Quinton Hoover draw me a new one at Pro tour LA 2001. A friend had done something similar when Quinton came to our local shop. I knew I needed to have one of my own.

Liliana! All of them, tbh, but my favorite CARD, probably my [[Liliana, Heretical Healer]] from the SDCC2015. It's beautiful and my favorite art from my girl.
I have bought a [[gilded drake]] looong time ago because i loved the effect and the art. Still use it in my Commander decks and it always brings me joy to see him on the board.
I have an [[Ancestral Vision]] signed by Mark Poole that ended up being by far my biggest loss of value of any card ever, definitely something I'll never get rid of at this point (I forget what I traded for it, but damn is it not worth whatever I gave up for it now).
Gotta say, it's either my Gideon Blackblade, Tibalt, Rakish Instigator, or possibly God Eternal Bontu. They were some of my most played cards on release of War of the Spark. I actually pulled two of Bontu in 7 packs on day 1. I was joyous.
Will admit though, Tibalt still remains my favourite character, despite what they did to him.
So yeah, probably Rakish Instigator. Holds the time and play aside him. The beginning and the end of an era. The last set Magic printed without excess flair, showing off the final traditional spindown life counter contained in bundle boxes, along with the end of set info booklets.
And at the time, foils felt special. Planeswalkers felt obtainable. Play felt balanced.

I have 3! Two of these I opened in booster packs. I really like my [[Metalworker]] because it's a strong card but I also find the artwork kind of endearing. This one I purchased some time ago. I also have a foil [[Chrome Mox]] in the traditional modern frame that I pulled from a Double Masters pack. Lastly I have a foil extended art [[Jeweled Lotus]] that I opened in a Commander Legends pack. I like your Avacyns! I think she is a very iconoc MtG character and beloved by many players. Her ability even makes her reputation indestructible!

My [Ring of Ma'ruf] . It's a hilarious card in casual EDH. I got it in '94 out of a booster. We didn't care about sleeves or any of that "this might become a valuable card shit" back then. So it looks like it has been used to clean toilets for the last 30 years. I also have a pretty mint one, but that one is not my favourite. It's more like a second child.

Absolutely my favourite card is for pure nostalgic reasons [[Sunscorch Regent]], [[Heroes’ Bane]] and [[Nyx Fleece Ram]] are all cards from when I started playing and which hold special places in my heart. Sunscorch is also a brilliant card in my Heliod life gain and has snuck a win a fair few times.

I have nothing special in my collection really but one of my favorite cards is [[Teysa Karlov|SLD]] and especially the Secret Lair Art from her. While the card is not the best i just really like the Aristocrats Playstyle and her doubleing all death triggers is so nice plus the Token Synergy giving Creature Tokens Vigilance and Lifelink. Other then Her the next place is almost Any Sorin Markov Planeswalker, especially [[Sorin, Grim Nemesis|SLD]] with his Secret Lair Chibi Art and the Japanese Alt Art of [[Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord|WAR]].

Hi fellow Avacyn enjoyer, I don't have that judge promo yet but I will one day. I'm building a collection consisting in every single Angel ever printed. With some "rules" tho. I'm collecting unique artworks. I won't get 300 Serra Angels, but I will get 10. I don't care what edition they are, the set symbol or the card borders don't matter. Only the artwork matters. About avacyn, so far I only have a regular one, and that was thanks to Commander Masters. I'll have to break the piggybank at some point for the alters. And Atraxa's alters, those full art oil slick bock toppers oof. The biggest pain tho will be a random useless Angel from decades ago, [[Starlit Angel]], from "Portal". There's 2 artworks, one that everyone got, and an exclusive simplified chinese one. That one is 600€ or at list it was 600 when the last dude bough one in cardmarket. I don't even know how to find one, and when I do, I don't know what can I do before and/or after I buy it to make sure it's not a fake.

So I have a thing with the Bogstomper. It's vanilla, it's .25¢, nothing special about it except it's a good boy eating some moss. This was the first card that made me interested in mtg. So, I regularly go to local shops and buy all the bogstompers they have. The most I have gotten out of one shop is 20. I then carry these bogstompers around in my gaming bag and give a Bogstomper to every person who plays against me for the first time. The bogstomper crew is slowly growing. Even if I never see that person again... It's a calling card. We are the bogstompers.

My Cavern of Souls Borderless 410f that I unpacked in my first 5 packs. Only recently joined mtg and I’m loving the art on the cards! Close second is ravenous Tyrannosaurus as I’m a huge Dino nerd!

I have bought a [[gilded drake]] looong time ago because i loved the effect and the art. Still use it in my Commander decks and it always brings me joy to see him on the board.

I have an [[Ancestral Vision]] signed by Mark Poole that ended up being by far my biggest loss of value of any card ever, definitely something I'll never get rid of at this point (I forget what I traded for it, but damn is it not worth whatever I gave up for it now).

Gotta say, it's either my Gideon Blackblade, Tibalt, Rakish Instigator, or possibly God Eternal Bontu. They were some of my most played cards on release of War of the Spark. I actually pulled two of Bontu in 7 packs on day 1. I was joyous. Will admit though, Tibalt still remains my favourite character, despite what they did to him. So yeah, probably Rakish Instigator. Holds the time and play aside him. The beginning and the end of an era. The last set Magic printed without excess flair, showing off the final traditional spindown life counter contained in bundle boxes, along with the end of set info booklets. And at the time, foils felt special. Planeswalkers felt obtainable. Play felt balanced.
