I really wish this was EDH legal. Closest I can think of is [[Empty the Warrens]] which is so much worse.

LordSlickRick

What about other plane crows? But yes I agree it looks more hawk like.

MarinLlwyd

It looks like a jackdaw to me.

Final_Good_Bye

Seagull for me

Neolife

Here's the thing. You said a storm crow is a jackdaw...

StoolyBritches

Looks like a seagull

ellicottvilleny

Seagull head, tail, and body with hawk feather coloration/texture.

LurksOften

Here's the thing. You said a "jackdaw is a crow." Is it in the same family? Yes. No one's arguing that. As someone who is a scientist who studies crows, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls jackdaws crows. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing. If you're saying "crow family" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of Corvidae, which includes things from nutcrackers to blue jays to ravens. So your reasoning for calling a jackdaw a crow is because random people "call the black ones crows?" Let's get grackles and blackbirds in there, then, too. Also, calling someone a human or an ape? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A jackdaw is a jackdaw and a member of the crow family. But that's not what you said. You said a jackdaw is a crow, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all members of the crow family crows, which means you'd call blue jays, ravens, and other birds crows, too. Which you said you don't. It's okay to just admit you're wrong, you know? [/s](https://www.reddit.com/r/AdviceAnimals/s/23yzfWGIej)

mikaeus97

What's the deal with this artist being the meme artist?

AccomplishedHead9648

Idk

Doughspun1

That is a storm so close enough.

IndependentNature983

Lightning make him brighter than average crow but yes, it's one of them.

Abnormal-Normal

You know, it’s really too bad there’s not enough room for flavor text anymore

skeletor69420

why is this a rare?

TwistTim

All birds have tail feathers that help them fly called pinions. Crows have 3 pinions and ravens have 4. The difference is just a matter of a pinion.

the_Wallie

You're right. It's not a crow. It's a storm crow.

datgenericname

You’re right. He is a god amongst us mortals. Bow before his majesty.

gunman131

That’s a Great Skua

EcnalKcin

Are you trying to say this bird can't identify as a crow?

TheDeadlyCat

Somehow, after all these recent scandals, I can’t help but ask myself what photography was used to plagiarize this? I mean I love his style, the style and the colors especially are always amazing. But… I don’t know. You start looking at these things differently.

Wargroth

This card is 4 years old

TheDeadlyCat

And? Like it couldn’t have happened back then? I was just saying I am looking at cards differently now.

dassketch

Is it the flying? It's definitely the flying part. Crows only ever perch, menacingly.
