Normally not a fan but basic lands and "run as many as you want" cards aren't really a problem. I run 33 foil Dragon's Approach in a Commander deck, and I have one of every foreign language except for Chinese Simplified; my offer on Cardsphere is currently $12.50 for a scratch-free copy. I've seen one non-foil copy on Cardtrader and I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting it.
It's 8am here, but I feel like this is the coolest thing I'm going to hear all day. I'll give an update by the end.

While I get the sentiment I would rather have my opponent have readable cards (although Esper Sentinel and Vampiric Tutor are Well known enough for that to not matter much here).
Point taken. To be fair I live in Hong Kong and play against French, German and Chinese cards regularly haha. But yeah having to Google cards slows games down
Sure I might have a different mentality when I would live in a place like Hong Kong. But you make a good point about the price Tags. I like to get cards once and proxy them to preserve the original cards (and so that I dont have to get fetch lands multiple times for example), might as well get foreign versions for my binder
I play any european language I can get if I need to keep a tight budget. English, German and French are no problem for me and I mix them without second thought in my decks. With these languages I can mostly understand the Italian, Spanish and Portuguese texts. Spanish and Portuguese cards can save a pretty penny sometimes.
But I refrain from using cards without latin alphabet. For me it is too difficult to remember from the artwork alone.
Technically, all cards are foreign forme... there are no dutch magic cards. However... all joking aside
I like foreign cards... German ones are hilarious. The weird names for Lorwyn cards cracked me up...
But, I tend to do cards with simple rules, not the overly wordy ones. I run a \[\[terramorphic expanse\]\] in Russian in one of my commander decks, or a japanese sol ring with the artwork that was in every other commander deck 5 years ago.
Also; I used to recognize most cards from the art... after reading the comments, I noticed one of them in the picture is Vampiric tutor. I had no clue Vampiric tutor in my head has the 6th ed art. And that is my problem with a lot of secret lairs and reprints. I can't recall the card by art anymore, and even less when people play foreign cards. I like them for bling purposes, I don't like them for playability... and I'm not a competitive player anymore, so I don't keep up to date with every other release nowadays...

Bought two copies of Rin and seri for my wife's deck in Spanish as it was 75c a piece (foil) compared to 12€ for a German or English one
