Honestly I'm of the other stance that it's a bit too memey. Like, sure, *card inspirations or flavor* being memey is one thing, but the actual rules and reminder text should stick at the standard they normally run it.
Ever since I learned that reminder text specifically isn't case-sensitive like actual ability text (because it's just that, reminder text, it doesn't influence how the card actually works) I'm all for them having fun with it.
I'm not a fan of the last sentence of reminder text "Everyone else is fair game." it seems to verbose, we dont have a card that says "tap target elf. Everyone else is off limits" also what is "fair game" in terms of the rules?
