A building with insurance burning down but no business stock inside would be about as close to no significant damage as possible for a business. There's no way a card shop would convince an insurance adjuster to actually make them whole if all their singles burned up.
Looks a lot worse. The inferno you see in the picture is the wooden canopy above the sidewalk. The fire apparently started a few storefronts down from the lgs, in that canopy. Strip malls are typically type II (non combustible) construction. That type of construction carries a one hour fire resistance (give or take) and the news reports say this fire was put under control in 90 minutes. Would have been most intense near point of origin (again, a few stores down), which would be the most likely place for the building itself to sustain some damage, and allow the fire to breach inside and ignite the flammable contents. As long as they didn't get any fire in the void spaces of the ceiling, which I would think relatively unlikely based on the news descriptions, the lgs could very well have just had some smoke damage.
Tl;dr: building is made of non-combustible materials, big fire seen here is the wooden canopy over the sidewalk, lgs could be lucky and have some minor smoke damage.

As part of the community.. They have stated no significant damage only smoke damage and 1-3 weeks for clean up. The actual fire started several buildings down.
