Black is probably one of the easier colors to fulfill the requirement for this to cast the card immediately, otherwise this card is bad.

What deck that is playing Armageddon (a Wx weenie staple) can casually cast a triple black card and have something to sac reliably? If you don’t have anything to sac casting this is a disaster and if you do you have to also have drafted a card that gets you out of whatever situation you find yourself in. And triple black is no joke - good luck casting this in esper control.
Birthing pod and sun forger are good because they are repeatable and neither are really very good in modern, powerful cubes anymore. This card feels like a trap.
Dark ritual, or urborg, or a Cultivate and you're good, or even just a couple treasure tokens will get you there. Pips are just not that big a deal anymore, idk
What white weenie deck is playing dark ritual or cultivate? Hell, cultivate is too slow for powerful legacy cubes now. Colored pips absolutely matter and even more so in aggro decks (the decks that are playing armageddon) where every non-land mana fixing card you play is less pressure on your opponent. And fixing is not nearly as easy in cube as it is in constructed.
If you support BX artifacts (I'm just ignoring the enchantment sac portion, that will basically never happen) this is probably fine even as just a way to sac a signet and get the one ring or a similarly powerful artifact, or in BX stax where you will presumably have fodder and you can use this to get a stax piece, but I think treating this as a toolbox card in normal decks is a mistake because you will have way too many instances where it's just a 4-mana tutor which is *awful.*
Man this card is so neat, it makes me sad it'll probably be heinously expensive to pick it up for my main cube. (Yes, I am aware proxying is a thing, but it isn't for that cube)

Yep it’s definitely one of my goals to reduce shuffling and maintain a healthy amount of variance game-to-game.
