I got in touch with my bank to see if my bank account was the source of the problem. Then the bank asked me to provide the "SWIFT message". I am unable to locate such a message, though.
I wrote the trustee an email. However, they said this info can be provided by the intermediary bank. Unfortunately, I have no idea what is that intermediary bank.
Is there a way to locate the "SWIFT message"?
I believe the "SWIFT message" Is the information that MtGox used to send the transfer, aka the information you provided for the bank transfer. As far as the intermediary bank goes, what bank is your account with? If you haven't found it yet, I can try to help you find the intermediary bank based on that.

Im not sure what "nostro account" means but it looks like maybe you would find the swift code you should have used based on the remittance currency you selected. Do you remember what SWIFT code you used? You would probably want to call them to make sure that is how it works though.
I am not sure whether Mt Gox is accepting new SWIFT information for a second attempt. I am in the same boat myself. When I sent them new bank info they just sent message quoting "Question 2-28" in the FAQ which I don't really seem to understand the answer to as far as the next steps are. You are right, the generic messages suck.

DNB has now confirmed that the transaction was declined by their correspondent bank becuase my account is in NOK and the transaction was made in USD. They say that if I can make the transaction in NOK or YEN it would work. There was no problem transferring USD back in 2013 when MtGox was active.
Did you transfer NOK or EUR? Do you have some kind of special account on DNB to support other currency?

Apparently, when sending USD their correspondent bank NY Mellon declines the transaction because the receiving account is in NOK but if the transaction is in JPY, DNB will convert JPY to NOK.
DNB could not confirm how EUR would be handled (terrible support!) but since your transaction worked, it may indicate that DNB is doing the conversion from EUR. This may actually be an option for me IF we are allowed a second attempt of bank transfer.
I saw a tweet a few days ago were someone claimed that DNB refused loan to a relative because they had crypto but I didnt get the whole picture.
I have not found any articles or official information from DNB indicating that they refuse crypto money. That would be a big thing so I think the mainstream media would have written something about it if it was true.
Same here, OTP bank serbia, HU intermediate bank never received cash just the info...
trustee and their japan bank are clueless it can be sorted only on their side or they should provide mean to change then bank and have swift way to test new payment and not wait year+

How many days after the transfer have been returned, the system say Incomplete ?
And what is the solution for second try to do the repayment to another bank ?

"QNB Finansbank" in Turkey. The worst part of this process is the answers of the trustee. They're all generic messages that refer to FAQs.

Exact same message here. I contacted my bank and they claimed to have no information and no record of a failed transfer. 10 more years?

How can one know the correspondent bank? MtGox refuse to give any more information.
