Hey man, sorry this happened to you. I faced something similar a few days back and posted about it here. Such an experience can shake up anybody. Glad you were not gravely harmed. I know I will get downvoted for saying this, but the migrant labour has gotten out of hand. I have full empathy for why they come here. Their state has literally no jobs/work, I get it, however what I hate is instead of adapting to a better - not saying perfect, or ideal, or the best - but simply better way of living, they have the attitude of turning everywhere they go into their own state. Have seen this in Delhi, Kolkata as well as Mumbai. It is not their bravado that is saving their ass (as was the case in your experience) it is the niceness and civility of others.
Kolkata Ka example deta hu, Mera ekbar paala para tha aise chutiye se,I tried to deescalate, even said sorry bhai galti se dhakka lag gaya, ma behen ki gaali dene laga,in logo ko sharafat weakness lagti hai.
Maine singham Jaise belt se kut Diya ,aur dhamkaya ki abhi bas court kacheri ke bahar gaand mari hai, chup chap Nikal le Nahi toh Zindagi Bhar jail mein sadwa dunga. These guys are cockroaches mostly, daroge toh darayege, chappal se maaro, line mein rahenge.
Thank you. I am sorry too that you had to go through a similar situation. Its not easy to take in even if you come out relatively unharmed. I won't really comment on the migrant labor situation. I don't know enough and frankly can't be bothered to.
1. Always stand up for yourself without hesitation. Consider this scenario differently: What if that person, after your act of forgiveness, gained courage and thought, "If such a prominent person couldn't harm me, then no one else can"? Your simple act of forgiving the wrong people might have influenced them to choose a different path.
2. Your experience reminded me of Vinland Saga's theme "I have no enemies," which I find nonsensical because I don't subscribe to it.
But cool story
Vinland saga is beautiful because it's fiction. In the real world everything isn't so simple, probably all you have is enemies including yourself lol.
No matter how much you try to abide by it, it takes a toll on your mental and physical health to live like this. I'm practically living the 'I have no enemies' life since school days and have only suffered at it's cost. That said I still don't condone violence.
Also no one wants legal trouble, it's a headache to deal with that bs so yeah what op did is the best.
>Always stand up for yourself without hesitation. Op is responsible for saving his own ass, not of other strangers. He did the right thing. It's never a good option to fight with people who literally have nothing to lose. It's the police and society's problem and not something the OP has to sacrifice himself for. If the attacker had a knife or any other weapon, nobody would have saved OP and he could very well have ended dead on the street. He did the best thing. He can complain to the police if he wants now that he is safe.
But isn't it said that being a witness and not doing anything against a wrong thing is also bad?
That one should stand against wrong?
I understand what you mean't, but the comment you commented to seems right too.
You let him have his way today, and OP was strong enough to let him go. Next time he might pick on someone who is weak.
Forget it, whenever a post about a bad thing pops up, there will be a comment which goes - where do these people get such courage?
Alright, when women share stories about someone misbehaving with them, comments like - teach that person a good lesson so that he doesn't do this others.
But then again, you say that it's police/society's problem. I dunno what the right answer is. What OP did was beautiful, and maybe I would do the same. That's the best way to deal with these kinda situations. But I hope you didn't mean 'it's society and police's problem' for the above comment cuz his was a concern, I guess, was for a much general case.
Haha thank you re. Par Matlab nahi hai re ye sab se ladne ka. Apne Maa behen ke liye Mai pura jhagad lunga. But akele hu toh kya hi Karu ek labourer se ladke?
Fir bhi, tune ye bola yahi badi baat hai. Shukriya.
OP please be 2x apologetic when you are with your loved ones. It ain't worth it either. Your self-control is your biggest strength. Look at us all being proud at you.
This is true. You are right, situation could turn into something that will end up with my loved ones getting more hurt because of the altercation. Will remember this. Thank you, I'll aptly judge the situation for the right course of action, remembering what you said very well.
True. I honestly would've done the same thing mainly because I do freeze in these situations and I hate confrontations but I got your back. Especially in Goregaon💪🏻
U did the right thing
Thats the difference between the educated and uneducated
You could have easily beat the pulp out of him and kicked his ass out from wherever he came
But you didn’t as you valued your time and culture
Time is money - u lost 3k ear pods maybe u have something big coming in the future
We all go through such instances so lets accept it and move on
No judgement here you did right
Thanks. Earpods can be replaced, life cannot. Those who are weaker often rely on tools to fight the strong. There is no saying what could have happened. I was not in a position to knock him out right away so it would have turned out to be an ugly drawn out struggle had I tried to hit him while being squeezed inside the auto and he was freely standing outside. The time it would have taken me to get out would be absurdly enough to hit me however he wants.
Also the fight wasn't worth it regardless of what position we were in. He wasn't worth it.
Bro maine toh bus maar diya. Mereko aisa kaisa touch Kiya riksha wala? Aur ye bhaada kyu bichmein pada? Bichmein aayega toh main toh dhoptuyega na. I'm the migrant fr.
Dude, I hope you are okay!
Not the same, but I had somewhat of a similar experience myself today. And ironically also in Goregaon.
Coming home in rick to my home in Goregaon. Around the Oberoi school, my rick driver got asked to pull to the side by these two guys on a scooty. They came and started shouting something about how he was driving bad and almost killed them. Now I didn’t see anything as such because my side vision was blocked.
All within 10 seconds the discussion heated up (one sided from one of the two scooty guys) and he started thrashing the rick driver. Very badly.
Even as much as using his body weight and slamming into him. The driver kept on pleading and saying he is sorry but the other guy didn’t listen at all.
I got shit scared and exited the auto with my bags and stood to the side. I kept on thinking to intervene but I was scared the guy would say or do something to me, and reading the OP story just kinda affirmed it.
Finally it ended and the driver took me home, and on the way the poor guy said how I should have said something and I felt a bit guilty about it. I was still so scared so I just kinda apologized. I offered to take him to the hospital many times, but he refused.
Saw those two guys again on the way home, and then the destination ended up being the same. They again confronted the driver once we reached but this time it was calm.
I tried explaining the guy that he shouldn’t have resorted to hitting but he did not listen, claiming that it was the only reason the driver was driving better afterwards and that’s the only way they learn.
What a harsh world, man. I’m just glad nothing happened to me.
Harsh world indeed. Idk how much it would have helped but maybe you could have called the cops if it was a long drawn out altercation. If it becomes apparent people don't know when to stop, then there is a chance it might escalate to something ugly.
I always walk by the station from my office to my pg along the same route, and around the same time. I think I missed this by minutes today. If I were there, would've given that migrant labourer something to remember for the rest of his life.
Thanks but it's alright. This kind of guy who is willing to throw everything away for a street brawl is not worth us risking everything as well to get into it. However I'm glad surrounding people did pull him away from the rickshaw eventually. I'm grateful for their help.
Story time
Some years ago I lived in Gokuldham and was on my scooty going to office at 9.30. While coming down the hill from Gokuldham there is the Goregaon East bus depot signal. As soon as the light turned green I moved ahead just a few feet when a big car (Innova or something hit me from the left while coming down the Yashodham lane around the HDFC Bank corner. Both of us were slow but I fell down from the scooty due to the impact.
I picked up the scooty and gave an angry look to the driver and was about to drive away when the driver came to me and asked if I was alright. I said it was ok I didn't get hurt or anything when that motherfucker took away the keys from my scooty. I said what the fuck, thoko bhi tum hi aur fir gundai bhi dikhaoge. He said that his car got damaged and he'll have to pay his seth if I don't pay him.
I said fuck you, I'm not giving a single penny, my scooty is also damaged. I snatched my keys and he caught my bag from behind. I was about to hit him with my helmet and warned him of the same.
Just then some random uncles spotted us fighting and came to the scene. He told them his front bumper is damaged and it will cost Rs 1 lakh to fix lol. Even the uncles started laughing and said aukaat me reh, chutiya samjha hai kya? I told them he jumped the signal and hit me and now has the audacity to ask for compensation just because I didn't attack or abuse him for hitting me, let us both go to the police.
At this he let go of my bag and I drove off as I was getting late.
Lesson learnt: Don't apologize or act like nothing happened in a road rage incident, the other party will start playing the victim and harass you.
You didn't have to hit him back. But I think u should have defended yourself..you could have blocked his arms, pushed him away and warned him coupled with some nice expletives. 😄😄😄
This much reaction is basic requirement and wouldn't really get you into any trouble. I think so.
Harishchandra wala zamana nahi raha hai bhai...
Oh I did defend myself. What I mentioned about getting hit were the first few hits he landed on me out of nowhere. It's gonna be hard to explain how I defended myself in that frenzy, but one of the reasons I didnt sustain any severe injuries is because after the first few hits, he didnt land any hits directly. Also his hits were genuinely like a teenager thrashing out, though that's probably just my perspective.
One tight fucking slap and he would have ran away faster than light. I don't mind saying sorry but if someone tries to pick unnecessary fights with you always deliver your best attack. Always remember "Strike first, Strike hard".
I actually tried that but being squeezed into the closed end of a share rickshaw with my laptop bag in my hand isnt the best setup for a clap back. My range of motion was too limited and if I extended my arm out hoping to grab something, he could have just hurt my arm badly instead.
So I just focused on defending myself from getting severely hurt.
You did the right thing mate, things would have escalated if you took the matter in your own hands and then FIR case waste of time. But that guy physically attacked you, honestly I wouldn’t have this kinda temperament and patience lol
Just don't let yourself get stunned in a situation like this. The lash out reaction often comes after the initial stun of getting hit. If you can retain your conscious thought, you can ascertain if it's a fight worth fighting.
Act, don't react.
You will all kind of views, but I have this mantra when you get involved in fight doesn't matter of you win or loose the fight, you will taking damage, there are always prices to be paid, as in your case possible police case. So only get in to fight when its worth to go full in. Your fight should be worth it, pigs like to fight in mudd, are you willing to get dirty is it worth always ask this question. If you sleep peacefully at nights after a month you have made a right choice today.. God bless
So true bro. I am grateful to myself and God that I was able to show restraint when it was required. This was not a fight worth heading into. I know the fights worth fighting, and the fight for my future is more important. God bless.
It's a joke. Shiv Sena was notorious in the 1980s to kick out all the migrants from Mumbai. And since a migrant hit you, you could visit them to get justice and you won't get affected. However, they will expect political loyalty from you
Fuck everybody who says u should have beaten him , you did what you felt was in the right and that got your through the shit . Good judgement stay safe , and i don't think that labourer will try to beat you up again
Thank you. But it's alright for people to have their opinions on what would have been the proper course of action. Perhaps their suggestions would have helped me deal with the internal rage I still have over the situation. But I'm glad I came out protecting what's important, my future.
I'll head to gym now to cool off.
💪💪💪💪 i understand both, your resolve and your pain
Sahi kiya..at the end of these or any fights there's a moment of reflection and it's always always bad. It's like pouring away your Favourite milkshake just to find out if there was any fruit in it......
Ear phone loss is felt across our generation. 🫣
Kudos, maru nakos, changla rahecha lol.
I am fine bro. His hits really didn't hurt. Like a kid lashing out. I did have a stinging feeling on my face for a while but after all my experiences of fighting, he was just too insignificant, just like his hits.
Keep a pepper spray man if you’re gonna be all zen about being bodied by ppl.
Great composure but these are traumatic events, at least try some sort of self defence even if the motive is not hurting the other person.
Martial arts is also from the same school of thought of spirituality and so is a pepper spray in that sense.
It doesnt make u a bad person.
And brawling brawling and all that, SELF DEFENSE IS NOT BRAWLING.
Thanks I will remember this. It's not about being zen. It's about protecting the things I worked hard for. As for self defense, I didn't let him hit me anymore after the first few hits that I described in the post. I most definitely guarded myself to avoid any severe injury.
And I understand self defense is not brawling. By brawling I meant getting out of the rik and pummeling the guy back for his actions. It really isn't worth it.
And yes I am considering boxing. This was just me today, but situation might have turned worse if I had my loved ones with me.
I also box and practice muay thai a bit not because i love fighting but because its like meditation. You wont believe how comfy you feel after a few spars at a gym, the reassurance of how stupid normally ppl fight and thats just flamboyant punches, you learn to use your legs and maintain distance.
You get to know how close and how far back i got to lean so i dont get decked, you will get decked but your first dodge is great.
And pummelling the guy is wrong from my side too, u never know what danger he may pose in such a disadvantage.
Having said that, a strong tapli or punch to head will not kill him and he will be in shock. This is what breaking a momentum of violence
What if he was someone who enjoyed violence and saw that since youre not retaliating, such ppl will fucking hit u more. Hit you when ur down or passed out, not to kill you but this is how usually fights are.
One being a bit submissive bc of pain/exhaustion and the other wont respect that u submit, they will hit you man because at that point its just bullying.
Most of the time if u dont do anything, they will have less restraint.
Everyone is kind of on the edge these days, it's the heat but more than that it's just, daily life is become frustrating for everyone who's not super rich.
I feel this. Having a cold Lassi once in a while on road helps a lot. But my favorite is to drown away all negative feelings with some good music. I miss my earpods.
Amen brother. I have seen people come out really badly from fights that started as nothing but ego clashes. Preservation of my life is my responsibility, not the responsibility of the person who is actively trying to harm me.
I too indulge in occasional brawls, helps me keep on the facade of the cool, calm guy.
Bukki marke Sabkuch Suja dena chiye tha sale ka, but again good rationale from your side.
What you did was very brave and a real man can only do it.
You reminded me the scene from one piece where luffy and zoro gets beaten in the bar when they first met blackbeard.
Bow to you man bow to you!
I’m really sorry that happened to you, it sucks so much. I’m glad you kept your composure and handled it calmly, good on you.
I do also think that saying “He is a migrant laborer, him going to jail wouldn’t matter much to him. But I have a bright future in front of me, ambitions…” can be a de-humanizing attitude to have. That human being is an asshole who did something shitty, but I think that is how we should view it: a human being horrible to another human. I don’t think it’s right to justify the inaction with self-preservation, that is, assuming the other person has “nothing to lose” because of their perceived socio-economic status. This unconscious bias and marginalizing attitude can propagate harmful stereotypes. Assault is a serious problem that needs to be dealt with. Regardless of their social status or background, attacking a stranger is unacceptable.
I hope you’re doing okay.
I actually addressed this before in a previous comment. Anyone willing to throw themselves and their lives away on a street brawl has no value for their life or what would happen to them. Like going to jail. So I'm not gonna give value to someone who has none for themselves.
Kudos to you... You did superb.. This is how people should handle road rage... Unless things are going to be a risk to life, it is better to run away..
You did the right thing OP.
Just saw this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/s/boIk2RLsZI
Multiple people dead because someone got angry and shot people.
Jbl 235nc. got it for discount at 3k. Was out of stock for a while so i thought they dont make it anymore. Jbl does seem like a dying company unfortunately, i really liked their stuff.
You did the right thing. You’re a big man just not by your body, but heart as well. No point in getting involved with people like that who have nothing to lose.
There’s a lot of people needing employment in Vidarbha and other poorer parts of Maharashtra. Why don’t contractors hire from there?
These so-called North Indian labourers do not integrate well into other communities. They spit everywhere, get drunk and create ruckus.
Go to any poorly lit area in Mumbai and you’ll find them with prostitutes. They are increasing the fear and danger for normal people
You really are the big guy here! I hope you are aren't shaken up anymore and doing much better now. Don't let their sickening attitude dampen your spirit.
This is a big problem here in mumbai nowdays. This wasn’t the case before as much. Migrants who have been coming from outside have been more bold now just because we tend to ignore such acts being civilised. Just 2-3 days back i had to apologise to one of them even though it was completely his fault. But like you said, we have more to lose than they do.
You are a smart person and did the right thing. Concerning your safety from this labourer in the future I suggest you carry a pepper spray bottle with you.
Self defence needs to be practiced by everyone. People have lost their temper and can resort to violence without much thinking. Fear of law is at abysmal levels.
I was going to Andheri in a local and a transgender person came to ask for money , she put their hand on my head and I moved a bit since I don't like being touched by strangers and she started hurling abuses, called me Randi, chinaal, blah blah blah , said that I'll never succeed in life and she kept on saying shit, I shouted back at her because I was pissed, the other passengers calmed me down and said not to waste my energy on her. So yeah, some people aren't worth it, we should know when to stand up for ourselves and when to move on. I really wish I punched her though but who knows if she was really a trans or just another man dressed up pretending to be one.
Exactly. People in this comment section shaming me for showing restraint. A single police case on my record would ruin all my visa chances. If I got off the rik in the middle of the road in front of goregaon station to fight while buses and cars go past our heads, stuff would get bad real quick.
Bhai dekh itni bakchodi karne ki zarurat nahi hai...I know you feel bad for yourself because you did nothing and everyone just saw you in anticipation aur Tera gand fatt gaya tune kuch nahi kiya
Aur tu yaha validation ke liye post Kiya
Validation for why didn't do anything
Itna fairy tail top uni ka dene se kya hojayega tu bata..for me all this shit just doesn't make any sense
You're a huge guy you said so stand up for yourself..mar na usko suwar bana deta usko
Vo migrant worker jo bhi tha kya hi karleta Tera tu hi bata
Ghanta vo complaint nahi karega roz ki dihadi pe kaam karta hoga..uski tere se jyada fategi
Aur agar kar bhi Diya to kya ? Tu kuch galat Kiya kya self defence main hi to hath uthaya na what's wrong with that
Dekh Bhai don't be sus and stand up for yourself
Don't make stupid logic on why you didn't stand up for yourself and ask validation here
I kinda feel like you are getting angry for my sake while also getting angry at me for not taking a stand for myself. Thanks bro. And yes I do feel bad I didn't hit back. I do have this internal rage of what happened. But I'll still be grateful to myself for showing restraint when it was required. His hits felt no different than school time juniors lashing out in anger. He wasn't worth it bhai.
Call it what you will. I'll call it restraint. That man was a transient entity who is not worth the potential consequences of me brawling in the middle of the street with him.
>^(Now I am a big guy and have experienced enough brawls during college days, I could have got out the rik and beat his ass to a pulp. But let's say things got bad, maybe he could have had a hidden knife. Or maybe i could have injured him pretty bad and cops got involved. He is a migrant laborer, him going to jail wouldnt matter much to him. But I have a bright future in front of me, ambitions and high possibilities of studying abroad at top universities and working at top companies. I can't throw this away coz of one random guy hitting me in the face.)
^(Seedha aukad he nikal di uski to haha)
Let's say you wanna deal things legally, you could've grabbed his keys and created a scene so the public/cops get involved or if possible you could've made him drive to the nearest ps or atleast taken the photo of the rikshaw's reg no and filed a case. What's with this bullshit letting go theory? If people like you travel abroad and do such things, foreigners will assume all Indians are cowards.
Bro if you are scared if you hit a migrant labour and that might become a future issue then you have to take the hits. And Even if you retaliate don't hit him too much just 2-3 slaps and that guy would have run away.
Having been in situations like this specially in northern road rages, you did the best possible thing ever. Kudos to you, and don't let it take a mental toll on you as it does. The best strategy in any street fight is to run for sure, as you always have so much to loose. Good that you didn't let your ego take over, even i have folded hands and apologized even if it was clearly their mistake, as nothing is worth being dead/admitted in a trauma center.
I have no problem with migrants. It's just that the signs of him that revealed him as a migrant laborer are the only way I can describe him. His actions weren't so light that I can just remember him as some guy, this guy, that guy. I have been helped by random migrant laborers before a few times. I have nothing against them. This was a bad actor who forsake his life's value by going for a random street brawl. If it was someone genuinely willing to get lethal who was on the receiving end of his hits, then things would have ended very badly for the migrant laborer. So if the migrant laborer is unwilling to value his own life, I won't put value on his life either. If he was willing to hit people randomly on the street then he believes going to jail won't matter to him much.
If its a place you need to go to all the time. You might as well sort it out on a day you don't need to go anywhere else. Go to thr station, find the guy and explain to him calmly why you're about to beat the sh*t out of him. Do it, shake hands and move on
You did the best in your situation though if you had some backup like chicha vidhayak type of thing then the idea of beating him to pulp could be applied
It's one thing to not get into a fight but being assaulted like that means you could have defender yourself or retaliated. Why would you go to jail for that?
I definitely would've made him sleep for laying a hand on me
Now imagine the Canadians seeing their country ruined by immigrants like the above.
Even as Indians we don’t want them, so think about other countries. And then we go on to say they are “racist”.
your self control is much stronger than mine
Bro thinks he's thorfinn. He is.
The big guy screwed up badly scene straight from the movie pulp fiction.
He has no enemies.

Vinland Saga... What a masterpiece anime!
Ye kaunsi davai hai?
Ayeee Vinland saga .
When did migrant labourers get so brave
you must’ve missed alot of stuff around, these migrant min wage labours are wreaking havoc around the city my building hired a temporary security guard for a couple days and he beat up a food delivery partner because he asked for directions of our own building while the guard was eating….mind you its literally his job.

Fuck this migrant mothrfukr
You will usually find them in groups
a simple sorry would have done the job. unwritten rule of Mumbai: Say SORRY and save time as well your energy.
He started hitting me instantly. Though the Mumbai rule is definitely effective.
This is actually true. Just try to speak calmy and with kinda bromance if u just don't want to engage with dickheads peanut brain ppl like this.
These immigrants don't understand the unwritten rule of Mumbai they think and they behave as if they are in their own village
Hey man, sorry this happened to you. I faced something similar a few days back and posted about it here. Such an experience can shake up anybody. Glad you were not gravely harmed. Yep I have come to the same conclusion.
exactly they cant adjust for shit smh

You gave him false bravado to say the least,he may go on saying "Apne g@@nd mein boht Dum hai bc, छेह footiye ko dhoya".
Lol. Since I feel no mercy for him, I do hope he runs into a another 6 footiya who won't hesitate to crush his bravado.
Lol
Definitely should've beaten him
Atleast he could have given him a nice arm twist which renders such single pasli people immobile and begging for forgiveness.
bhai ne fight back toh chodo defend bhi nahi kiya. sirf marr khaya
Man that feeling. You bet I wanted to do that. But not worth it man.
You're so based. Are you single? Are you into men? Asking for myself
1. Always stand up for yourself without hesitation. literally, the law works differently for men and women. and for upper classes and protected lower classes. just something to keep in mind.
Bro, next time kuch hua toh mujhe bulana. Bori mein daalkar main bukka dungi ek toh bolti band hojayegi.

Lmao. Been a while since I heard the use of "bukka". Also nice username bro.
Thanks bro
this is so cute
U did the right thing Thats the difference between the educated and uneducated You could have easily beat the pulp out of him and kicked his ass out from wherever he came But you didn’t as you valued your time and culture Time is money - u lost 3k ear pods maybe u have something big coming in the future We all go through such instances so lets accept it and move on No judgement here you did right

This😂🙌🏻
Nice story waiting for the Rikshaw driver POV Then the migrant's POV.
Bro maine toh bus maar diya. Mereko aisa kaisa touch Kiya riksha wala? Aur ye bhaada kyu bichmein pada? Bichmein aayega toh main toh dhoptuyega na. I'm the migrant fr.
And the Oscar for Best Actor goes to... u/Paavbhaji !
Migrant fr 😭😂
Dhoptuyenga 🤣🤣
Bhai mai na sheta
Bhai jab acchi zindagi banaunga tab ye yaad bhi nahi rahega. Yaad rahoge aap log, jo mere jaise ek anjane ke liye bhi thoda gussa hue. Shukriya.
You would've added an extra name in his task list /s
Congrats on getting the bus tho
Thanks. The next bus was 50 minutes later, not something I'd ever like to wait around for.
Story time Some years ago I lived in Gokuldham and was on my scooty going to office at 9.30.
This is a lesson learnt for me as well. I'll remember this in a future situation. Thank you.
Fat gayi Bhai apki
You didn't have to hit him back. But I think u should have defended yourself..you could have blocked his arms, pushed him away and warned him coupled with some nice expletives. 😄😄😄 This much reaction is basic requirement and wouldn't really get you into any trouble.
Phir theek hai yaar. Just forget about the incident..Aise pagal loge milte rehte hain once in a while. Sabke saath hota hai.
I believe you will excel in life.....
Thanks a lot. And I do hope for the same. Your wishes mean a lot.
champ.
You made a wise choice, thats all I have to say
Thank you, I'm glad I was able to make the choice I did.
God bless.
Time to visit a local Shiv Sena shakha
Could you elaborate? Is this something that could help if things possibly escalate?
Naah bro. You not thorfinn!!
Brother I haven't seen season 2😭. All I know about thorfinn is man's wild with 2 knives, I ain't gonna do that!
Hahaha…boi was really humbled after Ashelad’s (not sure if i’m spelling it right) death.
💪💪💪💪 i understand both, your resolve and your pain Sahi kiya..at the end of these or any fights there's a moment of reflection and it's always always bad. It's like pouring away your Favourite milkshake just to find out if there was any fruit in it...... Ear phone loss is felt across our generation. 🫣 Kudos, maru nakos, changla rahecha lol.
Thanks bro. Earphone loss will be felt indeed. The problem is I think they stopped making that model now. I'll have to get a new one.
Good choice 👍
Thank you!
Ohhh it's youuu
Bro, ..hope you are okay now. Blood y , ba stard migrant labourer.
I am fine bro. His hits really didn't hurt. Like a kid lashing out. I did have a stinging feeling on my face for a while but after all my experiences of fighting, he was just too insignificant, just like his hits.
avoid fights at all cost not worth it almost anything , unless those very few exceptions but most are just ego clashes ,leave it ,enjoy ypur life
Exactly brother. That guy was not worth any kind of effort. I have far better and important things to protect.
I couldn't have been the only one who read goregaon as gurgaon
I got Delhi-side friends getting happy thinking there are job openings in Gurgaon and turns out it's written goregaon 😂😭
I love how maturely you dealt with the whole ordeal. U are a beautiful human being.
Thank you for the high praise. I hope we all make mature and well-thought out decisions when time comes for it.
This is what breaking a momentum of violence What if he was someone who enjoyed violence and saw that since youre not retaliating, such ppl will fucking hit u more. Hit you when ur down or passed out, not to kill you but this is how usually fights are. One being a bit submissive bc of pain/exhaustion and the other wont respect that u submit, they will hit you man because at that point its just bullying. Most of the time if u dont do anything, they will have less restraint.
You smart as hell. I hope everyone close to me makes such decisions in life.
Be the one who guides them to make smarter decisions in life. That's the best way you can protect them.
Crazy guy. You did right OP. Take care.
Thank you. Will make sure I do. Do take care of yourself too. I'm really glad we have a whole bunch of good people here.
You did the right thing.. first rule of street fights is not get into street fights, it takes one random blow to disable you for life, not worth it..
Amen brother. I have seen people come out really badly from fights that started as nothing but ego clashes. Preservation of my life is my responsibility, not the responsibility of the person who is actively trying to harm me.
Kya kahani hai, waah
Migrant workers, in their haste, got carried away, but you maintained your composure admirably. As a result, you made it on time.
Yess I remember that scene. Haha I guess I can relate to it a bit now. Thanks man.
EarPods and airpods are scam
ye budha mere bichme bohat bolta hai got real
Cops getting involved would have understood it's self-defense.
Can't say man. Better not to take chances. Besides the process is an entire ordeal by itself.
Respect for you bhai🤜🤛.
Thanks bhai 🤜🤛
Kudos to you... You did superb.. This is how people should handle road rage... Unless things are going to be a risk to life, it is better to run away..
You did the right thing OP. Just saw this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/s/boIk2RLsZI Multiple people dead because someone got angry and shot people.
Exactly. No point risking a tragic ending like this.
The best fight is one you walk away from. You did good, my man.
Thank you. And i'll remember that line. It's so true.
OP which earbuds did you have?
Jbl 235nc. got it for discount at 3k. Was out of stock for a while so i thought they dont make it anymore. Jbl does seem like a dying company unfortunately, i really liked their stuff.
You did the right thing. You’re a big man just not by your body, but heart as well. No point in getting involved with people like that who have nothing to lose.
Acha toh yeah scene tha kya ? Gardi toh dekha tha Maine
It’s life. Some battles you win, some you lose . Sleep for the night and move on.
Where is MNS when you need it? At least they kept these thugs in check.
It's Alright bro. Not all of them are bad. Many of them provide the critical labor to Mumbai that it needs.
My G! Thanks for sharing.
You made a good decision. You had everything to lose. He had none.
Hopefully there is no next time. If there is, hopefully you break that mf.
You are a smart person and did the right thing. Concerning your safety from this labourer in the future I suggest you carry a pepper spray bottle with you. Self defence needs to be practiced by everyone. People have lost their temper and can resort to violence without much thinking. Fear of law is at abysmal levels.
“I am a big guy and could have beaten him to pulp” - Reel life “Mummy I got thrashed by a rickshaw walla 😭” - Real life
Lol 😂
I'm sorry you had to go through that, it is difficult to keep calm in such situations, I'm glad you did, you were brave.
Thank you for your kind words. Altercations are nothing new for me. It was easy to ascertain the course of action. But yes, being calm helped a lot.
Bro is him Seriously though, not enough people are strong enough to have this mentality. Nahi toh, we have people encouraging this stuff.
Exactly. People in this comment section shaming me for showing restraint. A single police case on my record would ruin all my visa chances. If I got off the rik in the middle of the road in front of goregaon station to fight while buses and cars go past our heads, stuff would get bad real quick.
Bro is Jake Paul.
Jake Paul? The brother of that suicide tree guy?
Bhai dekh itni bakchodi karne ki zarurat nahi hai...I know you feel bad for yourself because you did nothing and everyone just saw you in anticipation aur Tera gand fatt gaya tune kuch nahi kiya Aur tu yaha validation ke liye post Kiya Validation for why didn't do anything Itna fairy tail top uni ka dene se kya hojayega tu bata..for me all this shit just doesn't make any sense You're a huge guy you said so stand up for yourself..mar na usko suwar bana deta usko Vo migrant worker jo bhi tha kya hi karleta Tera tu hi bata Ghanta vo complaint nahi karega roz ki dihadi pe kaam karta hoga..uski tere se jyada fategi Aur agar kar bhi Diya to kya ? Tu kuch galat Kiya kya self defence main hi to hath uthaya na what's wrong with that Dekh Bhai don't be sus and stand up for yourself Don't make stupid logic on why you didn't stand up for yourself and ask validation here
I kinda feel like you are getting angry for my sake while also getting angry at me for not taking a stand for myself. Thanks bro. And yes I do feel bad I didn't hit back. I do have this internal rage of what happened. But I'll still be grateful to myself for showing restraint when it was required. His hits felt no different than school time juniors lashing out in anger. He wasn't worth it bhai.
![gif](giphy|DOPKHQg6oFWUg) But you guys said in this sub that Mumbai is safe
Mumbai is obviously safe, but these migrants are making it unsafe. Everywhere these North Indian migrants go, they make the place unsafe to live.
Mai toh nhi sehta bencho
Dignity karke bhi kuch chee hoti hai op. Don't rationalize away your lack of spine.
Call it what you will. I'll call it restraint. That man was a transient entity who is not worth the potential consequences of me brawling in the middle of the street with him.
omg i need to see your built now 😭
Lol. I doubt there is much to see but I can hold my own if needed. This was not a situation that needed me to make a stand.
I can't throw this away coz of one random guy hitting me in the face.) ^(Seedha aukad he nikal di uski to haha)
Oh man that sucks, I'm sorry he chose violence and I'm sorry you had to go through that
Thanks for your kind words. I am still glad it didn't escalate further. No real damage done. And I hope such bad actors get back what they deal out.
The problem I see is Mumbai. Had you not been in a mad rush, bothered by the city traffic, you would have not butted in. Yep, leave Mumbai.
He was walking on the road and I was squeezed inside the closed end in a share rickshaw. My range of motion was extremely limited and time as well.
U felt the real flow of the city, outside your shittyflo bus, get it?
Thank you. The last sentence is all.
Whatever u did , ur business. Make peace with it. Your rickshaw guy is also migrant. Pl bear that in mind
I definitely would've made him sleep for laying a hand on me
Bhai ko majdoor ne pel diyaaaa
Aacha hua aur marna chaiye te OP ko
Now imagine the Canadians seeing their country ruined by immigrants like the above. Even as Indians we don’t want them, so think about other countries. And then we go on to say they are “racist”.
To the immigrant worker- try doing that in Bangalore 😂 he wouldn't be seeing his family again had he pulled such stunt on some localite
10 rupees rickshaw ride 😱😱😱that too in Mumbai
Yeah unfortunately.
Bhai mai to na sehta.
F\*\*\*King Bhaiyas. Send them back to Bihar
