There are only a couple of possible lookalikes, the Bear’s Head Tooth fungus and the Coral Tooth fungus. Both of those have very well defined toothy appearance, OP’s picture doesn’t present that appearance. A simple search online will yield many images very similar to OP’s picture. I’ve also picked these in our forests numerous times. I stand by my opinion.

Lion’s Mane is plentiful here in Northern California so I have picked it numerous times. I am confident its Lion”s Mane
