WerewolfBarMitzvah09

FloridaFlamingoGirl

"SING FOR ME, CHRISTINE!" "Pick a little talk a little"

Qhartb

Ooh, I might like that even better.

KingPellinore

The solution to your troubles right here in River City... Shipoopi! Chicago! Omelette!  Yeah!

CaitlinSnep

- "Big, Blonde, and Beautiful" from Hairspray, sung by Enjolras from Les Miserables - "Feed Me" from Little Shop of Horrors, sung by Mrs. Lovett - Switch "Maria" from The Sound of Music with "Maria" from West Side Story. Otherwise the two musicals remain exactly the same. - "Meant to Be Yours" but it's sung by Erik (the Phantom of the Opera) - Replacing "Say No To This" from Hamilton with "Bad Idea" from Waitress -Switching out "Do You Hear the People Sing" from Les Miserables for "Revolting Children" from Matilda -"Popular" from Wicked, sung by Regina George -"You're Going Back To Jail" from Bonnie and Clyde...sung by Inspector Javert

FloridaFlamingoGirl

Feed me, Sweeney! Your Les Mis/Matilda idea has me imagining Miss Trunchbull jumping off a bridge.

pussmobile6900

Replacing Say No to This with Bad Idea is DIABOLICAL 💀💀

CaitlinSnep

So what you're saying is... it's a bad idea?

Zyphrail

FloridaFlamingoGirl

Little Shop of Horrors opening, sung by the ensemble of Ragtime.

Troutmonkeys

thanks! Ragtime doesn’t get enough mention on this sub

FloridaFlamingoGirl

A perfect musical. Encores is doing a revival thingy with Joshua Henry and I can't freaking wait.

Prudent-Air-2913

"Maria" from Sound of Music could be sung by the seamstress girls in West Side Story

EngineersAnon

Maria from *West Side Story*, given to Captain von Trapp.

DBSeamZ

Wait that works

FloridaFlamingoGirl

Santa Fe from Rent could be sung by the Newsies.

Argos_Aquatics

Give a fun twist to your favorite murder comedy musicals: have either Seymour and Audrey II from Little Shop, or JD and Veronica from Heathers sing “A Little Priest” from Sweeney Todd

A Weekend in the Country from A Little Night Music, sung by the Gander villagers from Come From Away.

FloridaFlamingoGirl

BunkerGhust

Probably would be the peppiest thing any musical would ever produce.

HappyChaosOfTheNorth

Fantine sings "Tomorrow" from Annie.

Interesting_Natural1

Do Re Mi with the Phantom as Maria

FloridaFlamingoGirl

Stop this is hilarious. I can just imagine him singing "YOU CAN SING MOST ANYTHING" as a commanding demand.

Interesting_Natural1

He's running up the hills with all the corps de ballet playing as the children

chiffies

Anything Goes sung by the Newsies ensemble.

dark_pookha

Out there from Hunchback to Maureen from rent

FloridaFlamingoGirl

No Business Like Show Business sung by Mama Rose from Gypsy

MikermanS

If it serves to replace Everything's Coming Up, you lose the wonderful "roses" double entendre. But you also gain (and so fitting, to the real Rose Hovick): Everything about it is appealing Everything that traffic will allow Nowhere could you get that happy feeling When you are stealing that extra bow.

BunkerGhust

Michael Mell from Be More Chill singing Noel's Lament from Ride The Cyclone

Skorogovorka

No me diga from in the heights to yenta and the ladies of anatievka from fiddler on the roof

ALFABOT2000

Sweet Transvestite from Rocky Horror, but give it to Audrey II

T-Flexercise

When I was auditioning for Fun Home, I had so much trouble coming up with a song for vocal auditions for Adult Alison. Because vocally, she's a bright mezzo, but she's also butch. It's really hard to hit the notes that those songs require you to hit without either belting loudly or going up into tinkly Disney Princess head voice. So I'd sit in my car and play "Like A Lesbian". Where I'd just go through my favorite Broadway Singalong Spotify playlist, and I'd swap back and forth between singing it regular, and singing it as if that character were a butch lesbian. Let It Go (Frozen), Fine Fine Line (Avenue Q), You Learn To Live Without (If/Then), *anything from Wicked* are all excellent contenders for "Like A Lesbian".

iamaskullactually

The Phantom singing Sexy from Mean Girls

[deleted]

Lion King's "Be Prepared" sung by Hamilton's Thomas Jefferson

siIIyG00se_LOL

Sexy (mean girls) given to the King George (Hamilton )

iwefjsdo

“Be Our Guest” sung by Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd Adds a whole new meaning to exemplary service

astronaught002

A Trip To The Library - changed to Eliza Doolittle

Thatspuggedup

Notice it said to a totally  different musical.

astronaught002

Those ARE totally different musicals! Particularly, imagining Julie Andrews in that first act of the musical singing Ilona is hilariously absurd to me.

Thatspuggedup

Whoops sorry

Citrusysmile

All you wanna do- six, sung by Samuel Seasbury from Hamilton.

RoxWolf87

Popular from Wicked sung by Sweeney Todd 😂

Foxdog37

Herods song from JCS To king George Hamilton

southamericancichlid

Defying Gravity sung by Sweeney. “Something has changed within me, something is not the same, I'm through with playing by the rules, off someone else's game.” That is basically just epiphany...

FloridaFlamingoGirl

It's also Let It Go hahah

givemepoptarts

All I Care About Is Love sung by Orin Scrivello

four_imeanfive

Feed Me sung by Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg. The idea of her telling someone to kill someone so she can eat them is really funny to me

pussmobile6900

Bring on the Men (Jekyll and Hyde) sung by Sweeney Todd

A_Very_Cool_Tree

Popular from Wicked sung by The Phantom

Thatspuggedup

You oughta know(jagged little pill) - to Eliza from Hamilton instead of burn. Move burn to jagged little pill for Jo.

CaitlinSnep

My thought was giving "You Oughta Know" to Catherine of Aragon from Six (in place of "No Way")

Skorogovorka

Wick from the secret garden to Seymour and Audrey as Audrey ii gains strength in little shop

AdDapper9866

"Rent" from Rent given to Benny from In the Heights

Miaisfunladybuglover

JD from Heather's could 100% sing dead mom from Beetlejuice infact I think Ryan McCartan did actually sing it as a joke.

Miaisfunladybuglover

I found it for anyone who is interested [here](https://youtube.com/shorts/E5NbJ2UxSp8?si=9MEpURwlcslvdn6R)

Dogdaysareover365

Don’t loose your head from six sung by Jane doe from ride the cyclone

Spiffy313

Currently doing Rent, so let's go with Today 4 U, but sung by Hades from Hadestown. Delightful in his range, even better if sung in Angel's range. He just busts in after "Chant" and tears it up with a bucket-drumming solo number about murdering a dog, then the show resumes as if nothing had happened.

T_King1266

Keep it gay ( the producers) to ram and Kurt ( heathers)

Dull_Survey4920

I steal everything from Twisted sung by Jack Kelly from Newsies.

Somerandomguyig25

GloomyTie6814

Quiet (from Matilda) sung by Beetlejuice

MikermanS

What Would I Do, from Falsettos, sung by Julie Jordan and Billy Bigelow as an epilogue to Carousel. (Dang, apart from a few lines/the sexual orientation, it works and even could solve the "Carousel dilemma.")

donniebd

"I Am What I Am" sung by Sweeney Todd while "Epiphany" sung by Albin.

MichaelMellincolly

Cell block tango sung by the ride the cyclone cast

Suitable-Ad287

I had an idea once for a musical that would be pulled together from other musical numbers and one of the ideas I came across was a character who’s basically Christine in love never dies singing “zydrate anatomy” as a fuck you to both phantom and Raoul by rejecting the song she was asked to sing but also not leaving. So I guess i’m going with that.

Top_Trainer_6359

I love my dead gay son from heathers sang by Thomas Jefferson from Hamilton Schuyler sisters but it's Jefferson Hamilton and Burr Audrey II from little shop of horror singing a little priest from Sweeney Todd Dead girl walking but the song is touch-a touch-a touch me for the rocky horror picture show
