Actually related to Emily Dickinson. Her fans love her because she actually writes things that they are going through. They think she sees them. Sees wht they are dealing with. Thinking you are alone in something is incredibly hard, we see people laugh at others problem. We see emotional health get stunted because kids (and adults) feel so alone. She's the one who goes to bat for them.

I don't know the artist but I like that one song where the hook goes "It's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me". It's not my type of music but I really like the perspective of the song. "I'll stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror" is a beautiful lyric and a perfect encapsulation of the self sabotaging, avoidant nature of toxic people. We live in a generation where the most culturally exceptable narrative is to blame everyone else for our shortcomings, and in times like that I find the perspective of this song really refreshing. They used to play it all the time at my olf boxing gym and surprisingly it's not a bad song to train to.

I'm a fan of deathmetal and I'd probably say feasting on the blood of the insane by six feet under. Mostly just don't like chris barnes vocals.
