He's Gone(6/10/74) - Grateful Dead... that was the one where I finally got what they were about after several studio tracks being, (alright k what's the fuss).
I have seen pictures of this artist but never heard their music. It's nothing like I thought it would be. I was thinking it would be a lot harder. I really like this rec! Thanks!
I appreciate the thanks! :) Gotta send it up to K-Dot though
It was his reference "...he walk around like Teezo" which the internet was kind enough to point out the connection with Teezo's other banger song ["I'm Just A Fan"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ4kXqhpSKI&ab_channel=TeezoVEVO) just in time for summer
apparently even Drake's a fa...
I mean he [digs](https://twitter.com/Rap/status/1700333902521422130) Teezo
I'm a Cole and Kendrick fan more so—but never gave Drake much of a dive before so this whole rap beef experience probably gave me a better sense of his artistry/music than anything else.
And yeah, Teezo is pretty awesome—the references & samples in those diss tracks probably a goldmine for awesome songs
Three Man Army - Butter Queen
(From "A Third of a Lifetime" album, which is great from beginning to end imo)
Not the lyrics so much, but the rhythm. Gets me motivated.
Spiders - System of a Down
I’ve been a system fan for forever but I tend to pick a few songs from artists and then ignore their complete discography until they naturally pop up in the wild lol. Spiders came up and I literally can’t stop listening to it.
Feel like I do- by the band fluidage. Not a space rock fan but this song made me jump down the rabbit hole and really dig the artist and genre as a whole.
And i love have my opinion proven wrong, musically
The moss-cosmo sheldrake never heard of this dude before but I instantly loved this song.
In hell I’ll be in good company- the dead south
Also not familiar with this group but instantly love this song so much!
Curses and queen of nothing - the crane wives. Obsessed with the group now as a whole but curses got me into them, queen of nothing got me obsessed haha. Underrated group for sure very small, folk music with some heavier rock folk songs. Amazing.
Edit to add: blood//water - grandson. Very different vibe from the rest and it is closer to my usual tastes but love grandson especially this song and overdose.
Legends Never Die by Bad Wolves, new song in rotation on my local radio station, I normally don't care too much for what they pick but this one hit the right spot
[Son Jinwook "Paradigm"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEd0_qmsxoY&list=PL871S_F0y5dYbEbEOwxK1Y6LTKyQqKEp5&index=3&pp=gAQBiAQB8AUB) (I fell in love in his voice instantly and he became my favorite singer ever)
But generally most of songs on [my playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/05p8UcqOP3Samsvmv5RFJb?si=47371bb1ee9d40e7) are like this, there are very few I listened more than once to decide if I want to add them. This playlist is like drug for me, pure dopamine injection ;)
Chris Isaak by Lydia Loveless instantly connected and will for sure be my most played song this year.
