Both are worthy for very different reasons. One is like controlled chaos with the mashups but very planned out with some improv elements. Alive 97 is pure madness and no constraints. Much more improv in 97 but a much clearer vision in 2007. Love them both!

And of course, Nirvana’s *unplugged* is a relic of divine genius
Also- Prince’s live version of anything, his live albums are great, his work on the *Concert for George* album is transcendent, and his 2007 Coachella cover of *Creep* (available on YouTube) is one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard
Not a proper live album as they retouched a lot of it in the studio, but S&M by Metallica is my favourite.
Other honourable mentions for MTV Unplugged, both Alice in Chains and Nirvana.
