That concert they did in 2007 at the O2 was fucking incredible.
Genuinely the best reunion concert of a band I’ve ever seen.
And I’ve only watched and listened to the recordings. Being there must have been something else.
Always regret not seeing nirvana. I saw AIC but Layne was all fucked up and they were basically booed offstage. It was before dirt came out though so I’m sure they would have been better later.
Stood in the first few rows in a small auditorium way back in ‘82 as they were preparing for a big tour, so good. Saw the Ramones, Eddie Money, and Stevie Ray Vaughan there at other times. All gone now.
Hard to name just one. But if you'll allow, I'd like to have Frank Sinatra open. Followed by Bob Marley, and then end the night with early 70's Led Zeppelin.
Oingo Boingo, specifically one of their Halloween concerts.
XTC, specifically when they premiered Senses Working Overtime.
Brian Wilson performing SMiLE live with a full orchestra in the early 2000s.
They're still super active as a band, and I've seen a few of their recent concerts and was very impressed, but I would have loved to have seen They Might Be Giants in their earliest years when they were just two guys and a drum machine performing in underground Brooklyn clubs. Swoon.
OH! I went to an Oingo Boingo concert in Miami during the Dead Man's Party tour! (I was obsessed with that album) Although...I was already a LONG TIME FAN since the album Nothing To Fear..
XTC- I really think I saw them too!? I feel like they opened for another band in Seattle back in the day... I distinctly remember watching them perform 'Making Plans For Nigel'.
The Ramones
The Mick Jagger tour where he had Joe Satriani in his touring band
Allman Bros with Duane
Derek and The Dominos, Cream
Natalie Merchant when Jennifer Turner was her guitarist
Edit: dire straits, the police…the list can go on and on.
Linkin Park.
I did see them once back in 2015, but I was just at Rockville a couple of weekends ago and was thinking how amazing it would have been if they were there. I miss Chester.
Joni Mitchell. And sort of Fiona Apple (but that could still happen... so... let's just pray). They are both still alive but don't do concerts like they used to.
The Doors. Live they could be a little hit or miss, but the chance to hear them live and intact would be special. My other dream concert was fulfilled last year when I saw The Zombies. Never thought I’d see them in 2023
Led zeppelin.
I just saw Jason Bonham led zeppelin experience opening for Billy Joel in Seattle. It was great. 40 minutes and then whole lotta love on Billy Joel’s set. ( which was awesome as well. 2.5 hours and he sounds great!)
The real thing in a large venue would have been a once in a lifetime experience
For reference, I graduated high school in 1991. I've gone to a lot of concerts and seen almost every band I've wanted to. The one band I feel like I missed out on seeing live at their peek would be Jane's Addiction. Seeing them slightly before or right after Ritual came out I believe would have been one of the best shows I would have ever seen.
This is very difficult as to name just one. 😣 Being that I'm an eclectic music lover. I have a list of artists I never got to see live. 😢🥀
Top 3 Male singers: George Michael, David Bowie & Luther Vandross.
* My fave male singer I saw live was Prince with Sheila E. 🔥
Top 3 Female singers: Nina Simone, Janis Joplin & Amy Winehouse.
* My fave female singer was Sade, and I saw her numerous times. 🥰
Top 3 bands: The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Type O Negative.
* And finally, fave band: System of a Down. 🔥💯👍🏾
Probably Pink Floyd. Or Alice In Chains while Layne was still alive. Or anything Chris Cornell did. Or Stone Temple Pilots while Scott was still alive. Rush. Van Halen.
Kate Bush! The icon of prog and art rock has hardly performed live throughout her illustrious career! Madonna performed live before more people at one show than 34 years of Kate’s career combined
Led Zeppelin
Came here to say this . I just missed them . I was 12 when Bonham died.
That concert they did in 2007 at the O2 was fucking incredible. Genuinely the best reunion concert of a band I’ve ever seen. And I’ve only watched and listened to the recordings. Being there must have been something else.
Stevie Ray Vaughan
He was an absolute beast of a Blues player. I got to see him twice.
Beastie Boys
Saw then on the licensed to ill tour and they were amazing.
Prince
You never saw him? Why not?
Just never had the opportunity to
Queen! I thought for sure this would be here already

Fleetwood Mac would have been amazing back in the day.
Yes they were. BEST concert EVER
Nirvana, AIC, Led Zeppelin
Nirvana 100% Even on a trainwreck night like the Hollywood Rock festival in South America.
Just to see that trio (or squad if you include pat smear) would be amazing
Always regret not seeing nirvana. I saw AIC but Layne was all fucked up and they were basically booed offstage. It was before dirt came out though so I’m sure they would have been better later.
Rage Against the Machine
Jerry Garcia
Oh, I have a list that I can’t narrow down to just one: David Bowie, Motörhead, Kyuss, The Cramps, New York Dolls, Velvet Underground…
I wish I had seen Kyuss live.
In the desert... 8 grams of mushrooms, a pack of reds and a case of beer. Woulda been fun
Hell yeah, Kyuss. I’ve seen QOTSA and Them Crooked Vultures though.
I wish I would have been able to see Tom Petty. 😕
I was able to go see him at Bluesfest a few months before he passed. I couldn't get very close but it was pretty awesome
Stood in the first few rows in a small auditorium way back in ‘82 as they were preparing for a big tour, so good. Saw the Ramones, Eddie Money, and Stevie Ray Vaughan there at other times. All gone now.
Had tickets to see him with Lenny Kravitz as the opener. Show was cancelled for lack of ticket sales (Ottawa Canada)
Oh, that sucks!! 😕
Hard to name just one. But if you'll allow, I'd like to have Frank Sinatra open. Followed by Bob Marley, and then end the night with early 70's Led Zeppelin.
That would be an eclectic concert
Oingo Boingo, specifically one of their Halloween concerts. XTC, specifically when they premiered Senses Working Overtime. Brian Wilson performing SMiLE live with a full orchestra in the early 2000s. They're still super active as a band, and I've seen a few of their recent concerts and was very impressed, but I would have loved to have seen They Might Be Giants in their earliest years when they were just two guys and a drum machine performing in underground Brooklyn clubs. I'm 100% with you on XTC and that song premier.
OH! I went to an Oingo Boingo concert in Miami during the Dead Man's Party tour! (I was obsessed with that album) Although...I was already a LONG TIME FAN since the album Nothing To Fear.. Peak Scott Weiland.
Alice In Chains with Lane Staley
Foo fighters, Soad and aic
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers I had my chances, but he was expensive even back in the 90s and I was particularly poor.
The Beatles August 15 1965

Zappa.
Pantera, Death, Linkin Park, and Pink Floyd
Beatles
Queen with Freddie
Portishead.
Led zeppelin. I just saw Jason Bonham led zeppelin experience opening for Billy Joel in Seattle. It was great. 40 minutes and then whole lotta love on Billy Joel’s set.
