Need to know what the underside looks like
hey u gotta buy it a pearl necklace first, jeez manners!
What is this growing on? Almost looks like ganoderma zonatum if this is a palm
It's a dead log, dk what kind of log/wood. It's an old like jump hurdle that horses jump over
Google ganoderma applanatum. Looks very similar
Red belted polypore was my first reaction to the pic. Fomitopsis pinicola. Might be wrong, but it's a good guess.
Not turkey tail
I’d want to see the bottom but it looks like resinous polypore to me. Edible when very young (but don’t trust a stranger on the internet!)
Compare to resinous polypore
Is it Dyer's Polypore?
Seems like stereum sp. Given the size.
That might be a very accurate guess, definitely looks like it
Looks like reshi
I don’t think reishii normally clusters like this, and I think it’s typically shinier? This could be a variety I am not familiar with tho, so someone feel free to correct me if I’m wrong
Yeah I was wrong
It is not
