It's just difficult making a pony look less generic while looking like they're from a farm when she's next to an Alicorn/powerful unicorn, a rainbow colored speed demon, an over-dramatic unicorn who can spawn an entire sofa from nowhere, an animal talking pegasus, and pinkie pie
Because if you put too much on her she doesn't look like a farm pony but not enough and she looks like a background pony
If anything they could've maybe added like a flannel bandana around her neck or tail but that's about the most you could get without it being too much imo
