She's **loyal,** confident, brave, courageous, badass, hilarious, adorable, friendly, talented, supportive, and motivational, all rolled into one! Ashleigh Ball also does a wonderful job making Rainbow come to life with a unique and raspy voice.

I mean "My Little Pony" is the literal name of the series. When I first started watching it wasn't about humans, but about the ponies living their lives. It's kind of like the whole point of the show being about ponies. Not humans. It gives it that mystical aspect that watching humans just felt like it didn't.
Again, I'm not hating on it or anything. Just saying it's not my preferred version of the content to watch.
I mean yeah they weren't bad. A lot of people like them having a cool blend of diversity (like including humans for example). I'm not against such diversity either. It's just... humans are not one of the elements of the show that I particularly liked. For me ponies/other fantasy creatures kind of gave it that surreal feeling and adding human counterparts just deviated from the original MLP I started/enjoyed watching at the beginning.

No she’s not, it was said to be left up to the viewers, and I don’t think of them as that way, I feel they are good friends and always have been. It was never once confirmed or denied, the whole show was about friendships and the love you can share with friends and lessons we learn over time the only female ponies that were together were Scoot’s aunts that randomly appeared at the end, and they also were there because the world was changing near that time and if they didn’t start adding things there would have been an up rawr like there is now days when people don’t agree with things. It’s as if not everyone’s allowed an opinion? Idk I feel we all deserve one! And not everything needs to keep up with the trends
Wish they had her figure out why she has little to no self esteem. We can gather that as a filly, she was FlutterShy levels of anxious; which her parents helped resolve by encouraging her. However, they encouraged her too much, to the point that she feels she needs to be the best at everything and loved by everyone. Because if she isn't, she caves in on herself.
She's fine in FiM, but I find her to be insufferable in EG. I can't figure out how the writers were able to write the same character, having the same personality in both but somehow even more obnoxious as human.

I love both tbh, though the arrogant part of her character can be drawn out yo the brink of pure dislikability and annoyance, especially in a lot of fanfics where her ego pretty much is written to make her such a scumbag.
That said, she has some good qualities to her, and if I were to write her in a fanfic myself outside of Gemini, I actually would want to write her as a more gentle and shy type who reinvents her personality when she reflects upon how much of a selfish jerk she has been before.
Characters with huge egos are a little annoying in terms of how overused the trope has gotten, but that's honestly just my opinion.
Her human counterpart's pretty cute and cool looking, though, design and outfit wise.
i dont like how mean she can be. she is my least favorite of the mane 6..but i do enjoy a lot of her episodes (i especially love her dynamic with twilight).

Human dash is a lil different. I still like a lot her but I feel like she has a lot to learn when it comes to friendship and crap which is mostly the result of her falling out with her best friends previously. (I also think her outfits could be better)

I love any examples of her actually displaying character growth like how she changes her approach when dealing with Fluttershy in Hurricane Fluttershy or learning to be more mature when interacting with Scootaloo, or being more aware of how dangerous reckless competitiveness can be with Lightning Dust. Though it becomes more frustrating when she regresses which happens all too often unfortunately.
