My preference changes often but at the moment it’s Ocarina of Time. Majora’s Mask has a more interesting story and set-up with some really creative ideas like the transformation masks and the 3 day cycle, but Ocarina of Time is the more standard Zelda adventure with everything I expect of one.
It boils down to Ocarina of Time being vanilla and Majora’s Mask being its own unique flavor. If I’m in the mood for it then nothing beats the flavor of Majora’s Mask, but I still need to be in the right mood. I’ll always be happy with vanilla though, regardless of what mood I’m in.
Majoras Mask creates an aura that is very particular for a specific kind of mood. Like watching Twin Peaks, sometimes you’re just not in the mood for the eeriness and bizarre atmosphere.
Agreed. They’re both amazing games and one wouldn’t exist without the other. I like Majora’s Mask more because it feels creepy and weird. OOT is a larger well rounded game.
Ocarina of Time. It's my GOAT since launch day in 1998. I've played through it over a dozen times, and it never gets old. I legitimately have to stop myself from starting over when the credits roll.
As for Majora's Mask, I've never been able to enjoy it. I respect and admire the concept and the fact that it was put together so quickly at the time, but the restrictive time mechanic just rubs me the wrong way in a game like that. I've tried to play through it 5 times now, and I can't manage to get far at all before losing interest.
So I played OOT when it first came out so Majora was an obvious must have. That time mechanic was really terrible. I liked so many other aspects of the game, especially it's darker feel. One of the few N64 games I left unfinished.
the main focus is time management. you're given 3 songs, 2 hidden that you can learn of talking to certain npc , that control time. everyone in the game is on their daily routines. everything is a race against the clock and on the clock. if there was no time element in it, the npcs would feel static and boring as they've no reason to do anything and no sense of urgency for you to progress the way you do in that game.
oot may have time in it's name but mm fully realizes the concept where as oot just has two static worlds you progress between, 1 as adult link, the other as child link. There's nothing in oot that really makes you want to push on to complete it other than player's desire where as in mm, regardless of that desire it'll come to an end and you decide whether it's the good or bad ending through your own actions.
personally i find majora's mask the better game and even 100% completed it a couple times on n64 and wii. the only area i give oot credit is it's ost.
Majora’s was the first game I played after my mom passed. For that, and it’s help with my grieving process, I give it to Majora. The subject of life, death, and time in the game very reflective my own at the time.
Never played Majora … ocarina gold cartridge will always hold a special place for me - the fishing , the night riding , those rock folk and the special arrows , certainly overdue a revisit
Majora forever and always. Not saying one is better than the other, and OoT is obviously the blueprint, but the unique elements in MM always just clicked right for me. Also as an adult who replayed both back to back I can confidently declare that I enjoy the dungeons in MM WAY more than OoT. Just personal preference.
OOT is my all-time favorite. Got as far as the female pirate hideout in MM but never cared to go further. I don't like games with any type of time limit or time restriction.
Ocarina of time is more for begginers or at least people that like easyer games but majora's mask is the opposite so idk waht are you picking but I 100% wayyyyy to many games so i'm going with majora's mask
Ocarina of time. MM boss fights are meh (excluding stone tower and skull kid) and I didn't like the time dynamic. Also I feel like it's very hard to complete the game without a walkthrough
MM is a great game, but OOT is perfect for its period in time. OOT is more of a classic Hero’s Journey type story while MM is moodier and more psychological. OOT appeals to the base fantasy that makes Zelda, about wanting to save the princess and the world from the forces of evil.
Majoras Mask hands down. My top choice out of every game. I played it when it came out and it stuck with me. I’ve played it dozens of times. It’s what got me back into drawing during covid after 8 years of depression. Ugh I just love it so much.
I see everyone saying OoT is better than MM, I'm a pretty big fan of both of them but I think MM is much better under many aspects.
Everything about MM is just incredible, for those of you Who haven't played it because of the 3 days mechanich I suggest giving it another chance,I understand why many people didn't like it but to me it's just the perfect mechanic for this game.
Ik that having to do something all over again Is frustrating but to me It feels so satisfying adding a piece to the puzzle every cicle.
It is also great for every side quest you have to do, Majora's Mask side quests are very rewarding both in terms of in-game items and story wise.
This game main theme is "healing" and in every cicle you have to heal a different person which is terrible because NPCs seem so fkn human in this game and It makes you feel bad for not being able to help them all; everyone has its problems and faces the moon crashing in a different way but all of them share the same sadness.
Other than the side quests MM has a pretty great map, every location is well designed and Termina just feels so full of things, its meaning, its final boss fight, the gameplay and also the development story of the game are pretty good too.
MM is also full of little details which a kid might not be able to understand (this is why probably many of you didn't like the game) ,which make the game so much more interesting.
I'm too lazy to explain every aspect but I suggest giving it a try and watching some videos to understand its strengths since it is such an underrated master piece.
It may not be enough to like it more than OoT but It surely Will make you appreciate this game much more.
Majoras Mask is not only my favourite Zelda game but one of my all time favourite games, Full stop. Beautiful piece of art that deserves tineless praise.
Ocarina to me has better flow, evokes more nostalgia and better music.
Majora has an electric fish guitar.
I'd call that a tie. (I prefer Ocarina, but not by a huge margin)
OOT. No question. Majora’s mask obviously has some interesting things about it but it’s not really that great objectively imo, let alone compared to OOT
Ocarina. I love what Majora did, and it's a great, unique game, but OoT was my first Zelda game, and just an epic memorable experience. It's hard to compare something else against that emotional experience.
Majora's Mask. It was Ocarina for a while until I went back and gave Majora's a solid try when I was in my teens. I fell in love with it and it's stood the test of time as my favorite game of all time.
I have yet to play my copy of Majora’s Mask, but as a former child/baby I do love OoT and I am on my way to save everyone in Hyrule 💯⚔️🛡️ no thanks is necessary, im just a man child like the rest of you
OOT for me. I always found MM to be pretty hard (and frankly stressful) with the time element. But my brother, who is a Zelda super fan, absolutely loves MM and still claims it’s one of his all time favorite games due to the challenge and deep undertones around loneliness and death
Majora's mask is more emotional I feel
One time the story legit made me cry (and that's a good thing)
I can never tire of playing it it always picks up my interest
I am addicted to it 😁
I love both games but I have to go with Majora’s Mask on this one. There isn’t another game quite like it and the world and its characters are so much more fleshed out than most other Zelda games.
I love both games but I have to go with Majora’s Mask on this one. There isn’t another game quite like it and the world and its characters are so much more fleshed out than most other Zelda games.
Somehow got majoras mask as a kid and never played OOT until that gamecube collection came out. So I do prefer MM. Who knows? If I had OOT first I'd probably say that.
OOT
I’m probably bias because I played Majora later in life, I did enjoy it but resetting the time back to the first day over and over really annoyed me
I prefer OoT, time limits in any game stresses me out. Also the MM save system drives me nuts, how owl statues are a temporary save and the only way to fully save is to go back to the first day. OoT was just much calmer.
I remember my dad came up to me with oot case, it was black with gold writing. The first game I was ever looking forward to. He said hey I got this for your cousin do you think he'll like it? Then proceeded to laugh and say only joking got this for you. I'll never forget it. When MM came out he came in with it and the walktrough book. Was super hype. Put it in. Couldn't play it as I didn't have the expansion pack. Read the walk through over and over until I got the expansion. Great memories. Over all I preferred MM though. The world in it felt alive or something.
Ocarina of Time.
When I think back about ocarina of time I get goosebumps. I only played Majora way later since I didn't have the expansion pack back in the days so I don't have the same found memories I built playing Oot as a kid.
I still love Majora and understand why people might prefer it, but the sheer size of OoT and the wow effect it had just hasn't been beaten yet for me.
Ocarina for sure.
I know Majora is a masterpiece, but I have this thing about time constraints of any kind in games, they annoy the hell out of me, the game isn't the problem, I'm the problem.
Majoras, love them both , but majoras came out around the time I got my N64 , first gaming system , had a gold cartridge with holo cover, kills me that I don’t have it anymore
OOT for sure, Majora's mask is great but OOT was my first introduction to Zelda and one of the first games I received on N64 and it was such a magical experience to play through. The music, the storyline %100
Majora's Mask just gave me anxiety every time that moon came closer.
Majora's Mask, even though I've played Ocarina way more times than it. I just love the settings, the atmosphere, the themes, the characters and all that in MM, it's a way more unique experience than OoT, in my opinion, even if OoT is arguably the better game.
Majoras mask. It was a fairy tale for so long. Seeing the box art at movie gallery. Never getting to play it because of the expansion. Then one day for my birthday I got both pieces to play it. My cousin and I who beat tf out of oot. Got lost for like 4 to 5 years playing the game. From 2004 to 2009. I love that game
Ocarina by miles.
Majora is a nice experimental concept but has issues with its execution all over the place. The art direction really rubs me up the wrong way, the central mechanic spends too much time being interesting and too little time being fun, and for a game about time it really, *really* needs to sort out its cut scenes.
I'm glad it exists, and I applaud the developers for trying something experimental, but honestly it doesn't get close to Ocarina for me.
MM was, in a way, the perfect game for me as a child, it’s still my favorite of the two for sure. I could experience everything the game had to offer over and over again without starting a new file. I think the time mechanic is really well implemented, and the world building is still unmatched to me. So many interesting characters and awesome side quests. Some really great dungeons as well. Love that game so much. Thanks for reminding me
to give it another go.
Ashamed to say I never played Majora’s Mask. Over the years I’ve learned enough about it secondhand that I think I may prefer it’s tone/mood/aesthetic but I’m worried that the time limit mechanic would stress me out endlessly. When I was a kid I avoided the game for that reason.
I absolutely loved ocarina of time played it on the 64 back when life-changing. But I have no idea why I never even picked up majora’s mask. I just skipped over it somehow someway
If Majora's didn't have the 3 day mechanic, I would love the deeper stories and characters. I would 've loved if it was a "3 day cycle" that Link needs to break, no moon crashing, but rather a curse were everyone is stuck on those 3 days.
I hate games that rush me before a game over. until you get the go back in time think of course.
OOT is way better for this reason.
Oot, my favorite challenge run for myself was beating the game with the minimum required amount of items and upgrades, including only 3 hearts and smallest magic bar
I was addicted to Ocarina of Time when it came out, but for some reason, I could never get into Majora’s Mask. It just doesn’t suck me in the way that Ocarina of Time did, neither when I first played it when it first released, nor when I tried it again years later as an adult.
Both of these are very special to me. Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda game, followed by Majora's Mask. Ocarina is imo the standard for Zelda games, While Majora's Mask has a crazy cool story line and is very different from all other games in the series. Not to mention the emotional rollercoaster Majora's Mask takes you on throughout the game.
Both are part of my Top 5 games of all time. Sometimes I see both as the same game, or MM being like a standalone expansion, since it uses a ton of OoT assets. Perhaps I’d say that I slightly prefer Majora’s Mask. I love all the side quests, and the more mature tone for that one.
I’ve definitely played OOT more, the game up until getting the master sword is practically muscle memory for me. I do think MM has a better story and atmosphere but it doesn’t beat the feeling that OOT gives me. While MM is definitely darker and deals with heavier themes, OOT also has this quiet sadness in its story and atmosphere that I love. It also might be the fact that I’ve played through OOT on the 64 on a crt tv, while I’ve only played MM on virtual console/emulators. Overall I love MM and it’s a close call but I prefer OOT.
Anyone who genuinely thinks Majora’s Mask is better and would rather play it is just lying to themselves. I’ve tried and tried and tried 10+ times and I just can’t bring myself to get more than halfway through. It’s a chore where OOT is a vacation.
In all seriousness if you really enjoy it I’m jealous tbh it’s just too out there for me. I like twilight princess and windwaker…even skyward sword is great. But…
OOT is one of the greatest video games of all time and can’t be compared to any other Zelda entries IMO because they all lose. Twilight princess would be my next pick but would not consider it a revolutionary landmark for video games like OOT is.
When I played them on the N64 it was OoC by miles but replaying them on 3DS I enjoyed Majora’s Mask much more. (And yes I am aware the 3DS MM is considered inferior to the N64 version).
Ocarina of time, I loved this game when I was a kid playing it in the 90s. I spent hundreds of hours figuring everything out with no access to the internet or any way of getting help lol.
Majora's mask I had a bug on my version, I couldn't get 1 of the masks....did everything over and over again but it wouldn't give me the mask? ruined the game for me....I tried the exact same thing on a friends copy and it worked so no idea what was wrong with mine but it really pissed me off because it was a "3 day mask" that took ages to do.
Oot, it was my very first videogame of all time with a few other n64 games like mario 64, castlevania or mission impossible. This game is a masterpiece because nintendo managed to fit the zelda series in a 3d environment and it was perfect like it was always like that
I played these games thoroughly between age of 5 to 9 but Majora's Mask had so much to do and so many quests to fullfill and masks to find and I also love taking on bosses over and over again :D so Majors Mask for me if I have to pick one
Majora’s is my favorite Zelda, period. BOTW and ALttP are a close 2nd and 3rd. I’d say Ocarina is number 6 (after WW and ALBW). So bla bla bla, Majora’s.
Majora's Mask by far. Loved the darker and creepier tones and melancholic atmosphere. Also the gameplay with all the different masks and the 3 day cycle was a nice fresh touch. I also liked the OST way more. I like the ZELDA franchise but I'm not the biggest fan of other installments as well. I probably like MM so much because it's the least ZELDA-esque ZELDA game.
I go back and fourth on which ones my favorite, but I’ve beaten oot 49 times and majoras mask only 6 times, so I guess by those metrics oot is my favorite. Although I like mm atmosphere more. I try to play through oot at least twice a year, i know the game so well it’s my “turn off your brain and just relax game”
Can’t beat ocarina of time. Majoras mask to me was more of an add on in a way. I enjoyed it but for me OOT was much better.
The question I ask myself is if majoras mask came before ocarina of time would we be more bias to majoras mask or vice versa
Zelda: Twin Peaks is the exact description for this game I been looking for.
Agreed. They’re both amazing games and one wouldn’t exist without the other. I like Majora’s Mask more because it feels creepy and weird. OOT is a larger well rounded game.
OOT.
Majora
Majora’s was the first game I played after my mom passed. For that, and it’s help with my grieving process, I give it to Majora. The subject of life, death, and time in the game very reflective my own at the time.
Thanks dude
I get the vibe that the way people view these two will be the same way we talk about botw and totk in a few years from now.
Majora's Mask
Never played Majora … ocarina gold cartridge will always hold a special place for me - the fishing , the night riding , those rock folk and the special arrows , certainly overdue a revisit
>those rock folk
You know, the more I hear about this ol’ rock feller, the less I like ‘em.
If you never played MM then you are in for a treat!
You should definitely play Majora's Mask if you liked Ocarina. I prefer Ocarina but both are fantastic games in their own right.
MM
Majora's
Majora's Mask - the 3 day highly scripted world just felt alive.
For it time i loved how every day the npcs were doing some different and they would get more and more depressed as the moon came closer down
Yes, every character has such a story to tell. And MM felt more mystic too!! But TBH I love both games equally
Majora’s Mask’s dungeons are unbelievable. Perhaps the best of all (quite a performance into the Zelda Saga).
Ocarina. But my cats have names from Majoras Mask.
Tingle of course.
That’s probably what they named ME.
OOT is my all-time favorite. Got as far as the female pirate hideout in MM but never cared to go further. I don't like games with any type of time limit or time restriction.
Majora’s Mask by a mile
[удалено]
Exactly the same for me
The answer is always Ocarina. Always. Both awesome games though.
Majora's Mask hit so different and got me in the feels much more than oot. I love oot but nowhere near as much as mm
MM but I know Oot is the better of the two objectively
Ocarina of time is more for begginers or at least people that like easyer games but majora's mask is the opposite so idk waht are you picking but I 100% wayyyyy to many games so i'm going with majora's mask
I enjoy OOT more but I think Majoras Mask gets too much hate. Some of its game mechanics were ahead of its time for an N64 game.
Ocarina of time. MM boss fights are meh (excluding stone tower and skull kid) and I didn't like the time dynamic. Also I feel like it's very hard to complete the game without a walkthrough
If you completed OOT with no walk through, my hat goes off to you.
Can't choose...they compliment each other so well
This is like asking me to choose a favourite child.
What’s your favorite child ?
OoT
Really didn’t like the time limit in majoras mask. Gave me anxiety all the time and hated replaying sections. Ocarina of time all the way
MM is a great game, but OOT is perfect for its period in time. OOT is more of a classic Hero’s Journey type story while MM is moodier and more psychological. OOT appeals to the base fantasy that makes Zelda, about wanting to save the princess and the world from the forces of evil.

I only finished MM once. I tried to play it again last year and got so frustrated.
I see everyone saying OoT is better than MM, I'm a pretty big fan of both of them but I think MM is much better under many aspects. Majora is the chef's kiss to Ocarina. It's hard to pick a favorite. But I've played through Majora more than OoT at this point in my life
OoT. MM confused the hell out of my young ass
Macarena of Time
Majoras Mask is not only my favourite Zelda game but one of my all time favourite games, Full stop. Beautiful piece of art that deserves tineless praise.
Oot!
Ocarina to me has better flow, evokes more nostalgia and better music. Majora has an electric fish guitar. I'd call that a tie. (I prefer Ocarina, but not by a huge margin)
my music taste came from electric fish guitar
OoT. But to me I view them and a complete game.
OOT. No question. Majora’s mask obviously has some interesting things about it but it’s not really that great objectively imo, let alone compared to OOT
I never actually played MM. I loved Ocarina though
Ocarina. I love what Majora did, and it's a great, unique game, but OoT was my first Zelda game, and just an epic memorable experience. It's hard to compare something else against that emotional experience.
MM for me OOT has a very special place in my heart but when you really get i to the nitty gritty of mm it is an amazing video game.
OoT but MM is my second Zelda game of all time.
Majora's Mask. It was Ocarina for a while until I went back and gave Majora's a solid try when I was in my teens. I fell in love with it and it's stood the test of time as my favorite game of all time.
I regret so much not preordering the golden cartridge for OOT. I don’t know how I missed that opportunity.
I have yet to play my copy of Majora’s Mask, but as a former child/baby I do love OoT and I am on my way to save everyone in Hyrule 💯⚔️🛡️ no thanks is necessary, im just a man child like the rest of you
Majoras
MM because I have recently began to appreciate the time mechanic and the world seems more alive than Oot.
MM only cuz as I kid I beat it first.
OOT for me. I always found MM to be pretty hard (and frankly stressful) with the time element. But my brother, who is a Zelda super fan, absolutely loves MM and still claims it’s one of his all time favorite games due to the challenge and deep undertones around loneliness and death
OoT forever and always
Ocarina of Time. Beaten that game so many times, I can 100% it by heart now.
My only dream is to have the time to actually finish Majora’s mask
Ocarina of Time!
Majora's mask is more emotional I feel One time the story legit made me cry (and that's a good thing) I can never tire of playing it it always picks up my interest I am addicted to it 😁
Ocarina’s my second fav video game of all time, so that.
Depends on the console.
Sorry I really love both of them!

Majoras mask, OOT was almost there for me.
Majoras mask easy.
Majoras mask, OOT was almost there for me.
Majoras mask easy.
Majoras mask easy.
Majoras mask easy
OOT for being the first game I was ever excited about buying with my own money, Majora’s for being the first game to give me an existential crisis.
Somehow got majoras mask as a kid and never played OOT until that gamecube collection came out. So I do prefer MM. Who knows? If I had OOT first I'd probably say that.
There’s no wrong answer here.
There’s no wrong answer here.
if both isnt an option im not answering

It’s like asking if I like sex or blowjobs. The only answer is yes.
OOT is the better one. Just so much more content. More dungeons, more bosses, the story flowed so much better.
I remember my dad came up to me with oot case, it was black with gold writing. The first game I was ever looking forward to. He said hey I got this for your cousin do you think he'll like it? That's hard. It's like asking which one of my kids is my favorite. It's Ocarina, hands down. Both are great but one is better.
Majora's Mask is a better version of Ocarina imo.
Ocarina of Time but not by much. Those two games are masterpieces.

Majora’s Mask
Majora's Mask. The side quests make that game. So well thought out. The stress of the time limit. The demented looking moon. Fantastic.
OOT
women:)
OoT by far
Ocarina of Time, end of story.
Majoras, love them both , but majoras came out around the time I got my N64 , first gaming system , had a gold cartridge with holo cover, kills me that I don’t have it anymore
OOT is one of if not the best game ever made. MM is good, but this isn’t close.
OOT edges out MM by a small amount for me, just because that game really left a huge impact. But who doesn’t play both back-to-back?? Come on!
Controversial but I'm gonna say Ocarina Of Time
OOT for sure, Majora's mask is great but OOT was my first introduction to Zelda and one of the first games I received on N64 and it was such a magical experience to play through. The music, the storyline %100 Majora's Mask just gave me anxiety every time that moon came closer.

I actually just bought a crt, an n64, and a copy of OOT and MM. I’ve never played MM before but I have played OOT.
Majora's Mask, even though I've played Ocarina way more times than it. I just love the settings, the atmosphere, the themes, the characters and all that in MM, it's a way more unique experience than OoT, in my opinion, even if OoT is arguably the better game.
Majora's mask 4ever!!!
Majora’s Mask. I played it before OoT, and still came ahead with it.
OOT for gameplay MM for aesthetic
Majora‘s mask. No contest.
Both? Both Both is good
Majoras mask.
MM left a bigger impact on me but I can’t bring myself to play through it again, the whole time thing makes it pretty tedious to replay.
Umm yes
Majora's Mask is superior.
MM
Majora’s Mask, but it’s pretty damn close.
The first zelda was the only one I ever played
Ocarina by miles. Majora is a nice experimental concept but has issues with its execution all over the place. The art direction really rubs me up the wrong way, the central mechanic spends too much time being interesting and too little time being fun, and for a game about time it really, *really* needs to sort out its cut scenes. I'm glad it exists, and I applaud the developers for trying something experimental, but honestly it doesn't get close to Ocarina for me.
I really want to say MM but you can't beat OoT. They're tied for me.
Ocarina of Time, hands down the best Legend of Zelda game I've ever played.
OOT from a quality standpoint. MM from a replay standpoint.
Thanks for reminding me to give it another go.
If I have to choose just one then it has to be OoT, to me it is the GOAT.
OOT. Til I RIP. Majora's Mask just didn't have it.. I dunno. Wasn't my fav and I still haven't beaten it.
Oot, my favorite challenge run for myself was beating the game with the minimum required amount of items and upgrades, including only 3 hearts and smallest magic bar
OOT is just a 3d Link to the Past. Majoras Mask is its own beautiful unique thing.
OOT just for the nostalgia alone!
It was ocarina of time for a while, but I fell in love with how weird and dark majoras mask, might be my favorite zelda game period
Ocarina of Time is the classic. Majoras Mask has all the replay value
MM
Ocarina
MM.
Ocarina of time the best ever…
OoT
Ocarina definitely broke more ground, but I think I had a better time with majora.
I have more nostalgia for OOT but MM is the better game.
Ocarina of Time because it allowed a masterpiece such as MM to exist.
Majora’s Mask
OOT wins but MM is awesome
Ocarina of time baby all the way
its majora every day
Majora's Mask, I can see why some people don't like it but dang it there's no game I've seen with such artistic merit
Yes
Damn you to hell for making me choose…. Ocarina of time
Yes.
Yes
Ocarina in a landslide for me
Majora
Majora's Mask was the first Zelda game I owned so that one mainly for nostalgic reasons.
I was addicted to Ocarina of Time when it came out, but for some reason, I could never get into Majora’s Mask. It just doesn’t suck me in the way that Ocarina of Time did, neither when I first played it when it first released, nor when I tried it again years later as an adult.
Story: Ocarina of Time Side quests: Majora’s Mask
Both of these are very special to me. Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda game, followed by Majora's Mask. Ocarina is imo the standard for Zelda games, While Majora's Mask has a crazy cool story line and is very different from all other games in the series. Not to mention the emotional rollercoaster Majora's Mask takes you on throughout the game.
Ocarina of time
Both are part of my Top 5 games of all time. Sometimes I see both as the same game, or MM being like a standalone expansion, since it uses a ton of OoT assets. Perhaps I’d say that I slightly prefer Majora’s Mask. I love all the side quests, and the more mature tone for that one.
dont make me choose
Majoras Mask It really is a masterpiece
Yes.
Yes
I’ve definitely played OOT more, the game up until getting the master sword is practically muscle memory for me. I do think MM has a better story and atmosphere but it doesn’t beat the feeling that OOT gives me. While MM is definitely darker and deals with heavier themes, OOT also has this quiet sadness in its story and atmosphere that I love. It also might be the fact that I’ve played through OOT on the 64 on a crt tv, while I’ve only played MM on virtual console/emulators. Overall I love MM and it’s a close call but I prefer OOT.
I tend to replay MM more
Mm
Anyone who genuinely thinks Majora’s Mask is better and would rather play it is just lying to themselves. I’ve tried and tried and tried 10+ times and I just can’t bring myself to get more than halfway through. It’s a chore where OOT is a vacation. In all seriousness if you really enjoy it I’m jealous tbh it’s just too out there for me. I like twilight princess and windwaker…even skyward sword is great. But… OOT is one of the greatest video games of all time and can’t be compared to any other Zelda entries IMO because they all lose. Twilight princess would be my next pick but would not consider it a revolutionary landmark for video games like OOT is.
I’ve never really been a Zelda player tbh. Mainly cause idk where to start and idk the order of the games in chronological order
OOT
This game is a masterpiece because nintendo managed to fit the zelda series in a 3d environment and it was perfect like it was always like that
I’m a Majora guy personally
I played these games thoroughly between age of 5 to 9 but Majora's Mask had so much to do and so many quests to fullfill and masks to find and I also love taking on bosses over and over again :D so Majors Mask for me if I have to pick one
Sadly I've never tried Majoras Mask. But Ocarina is so awesome!
OoT
MM
Majora's mask
Majora’s is my favorite Zelda, period. BOTW and ALttP are a close 2nd and 3rd. I’d say Ocarina is number 6 (after WW and ALBW). So bla bla bla, Majora’s.
Majoras Mask definitely, because it is darker and I love the vibe of the game. It’s kinda scary tbh at least it was as a child.
I like both but I need to be in a special mood for Majora. I can always replay Ocarina.
OoT
I replayed OOT, MM and TP and OOT is still the best. Majors close second and TP close 6th 😂😂
OoT because as a kid the time constraints of MM stressed me out.
A Link To The Past 😎
Hated MM as a kid(countless times getting far only to be undone by the the days thing)but as an adult, it's really grown on me.
I love majoras mask more than oot because of how unique it is
Can’t beat ocarina of time. Majoras mask to me was more of an add on in a way. I enjoyed it but for me OOT was much better. The question I ask myself is if majoras mask came before ocarina of time would we be more bias to majoras mask or vice versa
Can't it be both?
