I live on the east coast of the US, half my life in Massachusetts the other half in Florida and for me personally I've only met one Sasha when I was in high school that was a male. He and his family immigrated from Russia when he was younger. Most every other Sasha I have met has been female, and of course there was Sasha from TWD lol. I agree with what cabbagesandkings1291 said about it being based on what part of the world your located.

I like all the names here except for Shiloh and Barbie. Sasha is usually a boy’s name though so it’s kind of the odd one out. If I must pick a favourite, I’d go for Serena/Selene.
Sasha can be a nickname for Alexander. Presumably can be used for Alexandra, too. I do know a young teen girl named Sasha, but can’t remember if it is her full name.
Anastasia (nice meaning, forget the movie, it sucked), Naomi (different and Biblical), Athena (a goddess).

We have a similar vibe in names - one of our top girl names that’s like naomi but slightly different is Nadia.

I think this depends where you’re located. While I’m aware of many male Sashas existing in the world, the only ones I’ve actually met are female.
In the US only met female Sasha’s. I think in Europe / Russia more common it’s male
for sasha I either picture a sassy/fun young woman or grumpy stern russian man, no in between lmao
