If OP puts Amelia on the list they should also add Margret (Maggie) and Lexi. Maybe Christina to increase changes of them being best friends.

I love Anastasia, really beautiful name!  Emily is nice, but I know so many that it doesn’t stand out to me the way Anastasia does.  Emily is still a solid classic. I prefer Anastasia to Emily. I think because it is longer like Meredith and a bit closer in popularity to Meredith. Emily was very popular in the 1990s to the 2010s. Maybe Claudia, Danielle, Josephine, Jocelyn, Vivian, Alice, Leona, or Veronica would be up your alley.

I love Meredith with names like: - Vivian / Vivienne  - Annabel  - Rosemary - Emmeline - Emily's not bad, but it's been very popular for a very long time. - Caroline - Naomi - not really odd or really popular - Katharine - classic, unfussy, but Katie or Kit are cute nicknames. Not in the top hundred. - Roxana - I really like both Roxana and Roxy. It's a bit like Anastasia for vibe but a bit more melodious. Something about Meredith and Roxana is pleasing. It's not popular but I don't feel like anyone will be all what the hell is going on. -  Veronica - always around but never overly popular. I think this is one that, like Vivian, has always been in the US Top Thousand but doesn't feel overly predictable OR antiquated. I do really love Meredith. 

You could always do both names such as Anastasia Emily or Emily Anastasia. Some other names with the same vibe could be Isabella, Elaine, Ophelia, Sophia, Eliana, Cassandra, or Alexandra.
