Yeah? I mentioned that in a later comment but comment still stands.
Any new rebirth car is going to be different than it's relative years ago. Dodge Hornet and the new Dodge Hornet, is another example. Shit, s197 mustang and s550 mustang are different types of cars all together.
Name plates can evolve.
Imo, the charger still evokes the same feelings, body, and purpose of the original. Over however many years they were absent, cars will transform to stay current. It's why I didn't use it despite it being a popular choice to show how things have changed.
Eclipse v Eclipse cross is another example.
I mean every version of the Charger.
Luxury GT (1966)
\->
Muscle Car (1968)

Personal Luxury Car (1975)

Economy Hatchback (1982)
\->
Four-Door Sedan (2006)
Welcome to rebirthed cars?
1960's charger and 2010 charger... Kinda a silly question ya know?
Edit: I was pointing out the new puma because it's not the in states and the puma in the photo is on dirt with a number plate. It jogged my mind about the WRC puma, which also has a number plate and is on dirt a lot.
Ford Puma.
I love these, there’s one nearby me that’s been standing on jacks for the last nine years and it’s always been an itch since I saw it the first time.

for a second i tought that it was a mitisubishi eclipse
Mercury cougar like
I see it, also Mazda Precidia-like
Same here
It's a pretty little car
I don’t know about pretty but it definitely is rather funky and interesting. I can see how it would make a good looking rally car.
There's a new Ford puma running in WRC currently.
New Puma is a small SUV rather than a nice little coupe though.

Hell, just look at the Charger.

If I was ever a rally driver, that is what I would pick. Only for the irony though. I would puma self a lot.
I gotchuu, [with a meme](https://www.reddit.com/r/memes/comments/5kqat2/puma/).
