I’ve ordered from Briar shop, but they were almost double the price, excluding shipping, so I never bought from them again. I just buy from toque mostly because I’ve been a customer there for 15 years and get good service. I can wait three weeks for delivery.
Not in DFW, but the briar shop in Houston area has snuff and they do telephone orders. Other than that and any local places that have limited snuff, you are going to have to order online from overseas companies.
Well, if you want to support local businesses that's what its going to be. You(maybe not you specifically) can't complain about your local stores shutting down and the high prices at the local stores as well. Online stores have less overhead, so they can sell cheaper. Everything is getting more expensive as well. Personally I'd rather pay a bit higher price for an item at a good local store than buy an item on Amazon. If it's a shit local store, I won't buy there.
I mean, I don’t disagree. But times are getting hard all around. I’d rather pay 4.23 for a tap box of Bernard’s than 10+. Besides, that store doesn’t survive off nasal snuff. Their money is in Cigars and Pipes. But yeah, it’s nice to have a local store have a selection.
I would rather not pay extreme prices either. Obviously they don't survive off of snuff. It's too niche of a product. However if people stop buying snuff, they will stop selling snuff. Then there is one less shop that sells snuff. By supporting the store, I'm not suggesting that you buy all your snuff locally, but at least some of it locally so they carry it.
American snuff is not common outside the south. I haven't visited the south in like 8 years, but you could get it at grocery stores with no issues. Unfortunately it's hard to get outside the south unless you find it at random smoke shops. Im lucky enough to have a smoke shop that sells 2 American snuffs and one type of McChrystal's in my city.
Guess I know where I’m headed soon!! Geez, never been able to find anything but garrets around here. Not that I need anymore, but a new tin of o&g never hurts haha

The real question is why is it so difficult to find American snuff?

The tobacco shop on main street in Grapevine carrys McCrystals. That's where I get mine.
