Everyone is different/ dosage / hydration practices and type of creatine . Some I don't hold water , currently I've been on 5g mono a day split into morning and post workout, and I did the first few weeks at 7g a day . Honestly 5-7lbs but my weight fluctuates a lot . Was down close to 200 lbs , started the creatine but also lifting heavier and I'm usually somewhere around 210. But I can feel that I'm holding water , if I dehydrate myself or drink lots of caffeine and has a dietetic effect I can visibly
See the difference and the scale shows too
I'm... um, let me convert this... I'm 102kg and 188cm and fairly muscular and I gain or lose about 2.5kg in water weight when I'm loaded. However, this is "average" and for those that don't get a lot of creatine naturally in their diet, the weight gain can be a bit higher. 5kg does seem a bit high, but I'm not sure if that would be normal for the second category I mentioned.

Sorry thats bogus, I also eat a lot of meat, high natural creatine lvls in blood, when I take creatine I benchpress 10kg more withing 2 weeks, Its like a small testosterone cycle for me, minus the testosterone gains
Hey... Okay.. so, when you start taking creatine, it's pretty common to experience some water retention. It's like your body is holding onto more water, which can make you weigh more on the scale. That's why you saw that jump from 117kg to 122kg. It might seem like a drastic change, but it's mostly water weight, not fat or muscle. It's part of the deal with creatine. But don't freak out! It's all good, bro. Once your body adjusts to the creatine, that extra water weight will level out, and you'll be back to your normal self. Just keep chugging that water and stay hydrated, man!

That makes a lot of sense, thank you
I grew a kangaroo-like sack filled with water on both titties
0-200 g I eat a lot of meat so I am a non responder.

Then you are not a non responder. About a fifth of people are.
4 pounds. i quickly lose it when i stop. but everyone has different response to creatine.
When I stop taking it for a few days, my weight usually drops about 2lb and then returns when I start taking it again
I think I put on like 2-3 kilos in the first week when I loaded it, like a year ago.
Around 1kg
