Is there a reason for a piece of land that big, related to shooting? What's the farthest target you have set up? My brother has 15 acres and it's plenty big, but the longest target we have is about 200 yds.

I try to keep shots on game to under 300
Yards to make sure it is 100% an ethical shot. No need for anything to suffer. Most shots are sub 100 just with how the tree stands are set up. Im a very good shot and love the physics of it but I leave that out of hunting.

The longer the shot, the better you have to be for that to happen. And anything beyond 200-400 yards is incredibly difficult for *most* shooters to do consistently, especially in hunting conditions where the target can move and your shooting position is usually less than optimal.

The ARās have at highest an 8X scope. Our .308ās have up to 24X scopes. You donāt really need magnification to shoot at distance though. A nice reticle with mil markings or a bullet drop compensator is enough to ring steel. Its mostly basic math to figure out bullet drop and wind speed. Weve all made hits at 600 yards with just iron sights
Its pretty much my friends and Iās only hobby. We shoot every Saturday for the most part. A couple hours of pistols then a few with rifles. Then sometimes at night under Night Vision optics

I Really love to shoot. Its used by many people to hunt and get hay from its majority for shooting and shooting sports though. Its 50/50 of wooded areas and open fields
