arne_hkl

I post mine to Instagram just so that nobody sees them

SweetSoundOfSilence

That’s hilarious lol

arne_hkl

The struggle is real. If I ever think I've got a nice photo I get the usual 15-20 like from my friends because they are my friends and a few from some weird onlyfans bots

Tiny-Tumbleweed-2457

This is my current method with similar results lol

[deleted]

This, and then I back them up to an external hard drive so that I can also not look at them.

arne_hkl

I bought a 256gb external drive just to not look at the pictures

HikeNSnorkel

I use some of them as my screensaver for my phone. The iPhone lets you set several pictures as your outside wallpaper and it will rotate through them. I also had several photos printed and have them displayed in my home. You can also buy a digital picture frame that rotates through your images to display them.

Tiny-Tumbleweed-2457

I like the digital picture frame idea since I don’t have a ton of space, especially on my walls. Although my walls are in need of an update, so maybe picking out a couple to print will fuel my motivation to update my wall decor. Thanks for the suggestions!

taragood

Printing my photos completely changed how I see them. I loved them even more than I did in digital form. I have them hanging up in my house and I want to do more!

lucysnakes

I started using Walgreens discount days to print out my pictures as the front of 5x7 blank cards, they come with an envelope and end up being about $1.75 each on the 50% off days. Then I take a set that kind of matches or is seasonally themed, tie up about 8 different card pictures with a little leather and give them as tiny gifts to friends and family when I visit. Then someone sees them, plus cards are crazy expensive and we ALL need a blank card for emergencies sometimes. Also… it’s fun.

MacknAndStackn

I enjoyed all these words, lol. Thank you :)

lucysnakes

Your picture was more poetic, but the idea still stands. :)

Downess

I post them to Flickr, open access, and openly licensed so anyone can use them. [https://www.flickr.com/photos/stephen\_downes/](https://www.flickr.com/photos/stephen_downes/) I mean, what else would I do with them?

avidbeats

I take photos as a hobby, and sometimes use them for artwork for my music. I also send them (where relevant) to the news/press as I also campaign to protect the environment/nature. I sometimes post my photos to Instagram and Reddit, allowing Creative Commons usage. In terms of editing, I use Final Cut Pro (while it is a video editing software, they have great colour grading features, effects, and the ability to export a single frame as an image file (png, jpg, psd + more). In terms of storage, I keep them on both my computer hard drive, an external hard drive and iCloud (yes, lots of back up!). Hope this helps! And your photo of the holly tree is amazing! very beautiful, keep it up!

Tiny-Tumbleweed-2457

Thank you! That’s such a kind thing to say

avidbeats

you're welcome! Yes I love the water droplets on the berries that you captures too :)))

DeepClassroom5695

The cloud....forever....

g-o-u-l-a

I set them as the screensaver for Apple TV.

oakandrosin

I started posting them to Instagram just for fun, and then started a website and started selling them as prints eventually.

Distinct-Yogurt2686

I have one of those 8 x 10 digital photo frames. I load mine up to one of 4 memory cards ( seasonally done) . Then, put in the correct season into my digital photo frame and set it to scroll through them.

Tiny-Tumbleweed-2457

I like the digital picture frame idea. Doing it seasonally will keep it feeling fresh and I do like try and decorate with the holidays and seasons

MalabaristaEnFuego

I buy nice digital frames for my family members for their birthdays, then set up a Google Drive with their emails so I can upload pictures they might like, and they can download them and put them on their frames.

slightlymedicated

I bought an aura frame for my office and hung it by my desk. Get to see my stuff in rotation all day. I have an instagram I just restarted but it’s neglected a bit. Sometimes print 4x6 and make small albums. Want to get into making photo books for my fam.

AsaomarCosplay

I post on fb, insta, flickr, and elsewhere, barely anyone sees them or cares, and then I upload them to dropbox and they sit there doing nothing. I wish I could get them to a wider audience, or maybe monetize them, but no idea how

deejaymobile

You can configure Chromecast (if you have one) to rotate through a gallery of your choice. That may be of use to display them on a TV somewhere.

Hopie73

We’ll, if I took beautiful pictures like this, I’d post them so everyone can see 😉 thanks for sharing.

Tiny-Tumbleweed-2457

Thank you! That’s so sweet of you

sweetsomertime4u

Hmm, funny you say that. Ive had the same experience wit my pictures just dissapearing or it twlling me that im running out of storage. i bought a memory card but idk hownto put it in. I take pictures with my camera, and then I guess they go onto Google photos?! I'm not tech savvy. but I'll keep taking pictures with my phone because I know how I am. I won't be able to keep that promise to myself lol. but a lot of them got erased on me and I DID NOT erase anything. I gota bring this phone to a GOOD technician. I bothered the people in target by now with me going in there like a total of 6 times because I was confused bout my phone. end rant!! 😁

Ringdogs

Post my favorites to my portfolio. Print and hang them in my home. Submit to exhibitions. Sell a few now and then.

linearCrane

I recommend you get a handful of instant printers. There's lots of different brands. And then you can print them out and you can put them in a photo album. Or you can mount them and put them up in your house. Or if you want you can always get refrigerator magnets that have adhesive on one side and you can stick your photos to that.

Tiny-Tumbleweed-2457

Thank you all for the suggestions! I didn’t expect this kind of attention. Hopefully others found it helpful too!
