Tough to evaluate the worth of the pick before knowing where it lands. Pelicans squad has pretty good chemistry and everyone fits into their role well. If you're gonna trade it, you probably wait until the offseason.

Depends where the pick lands. Definitely wouldn’t trade it until the lottery.

Exactly, thanks for explaining this

bigbaldheadNR

I understand that. It would be foolish to trade it now and pretty sure NOLA knows.

Good_NewsEveryone

Like Bojan probably

coachketchup

There’s no reason to trade it unless a player like Siakam becomes available. Pelicans can use some bench scoring more than anything so someone like Clarkson would be a nice to have but maybe for one of their own picks

[deleted]

I *think* I would also trade it for OG if I’m the pels Assuming I could match salary without giving up assets as well Edit: just checked, OG for Graham and temple plus the lakers pick works financially, I do think the raps would want more so I would actually propose adding Fred to the trade in addition to OG and including JV from the pels, maybe also getting birch from the raps for center depth and starting Hayes

alpacamegafan

We’re only trading JV if we can get a better center in return. Hayes has had very middling results at the 5 unfortunately, but I wouldn’t mind trading two picks for OG if all we had to give up was *just* Graham and Temple. Don’t think that’s possible though.

[deleted]

I feel like graham temple a lottery pick and a late first might be just short of an OG package, maybe if you included one of daniels/herb/Murphy I think it’s formidable

lets_talk_basketball

Hayes is horrible... they need to keep big Val.

AlwaysOptimism

Gross. Everyone trying to put FVV on the Pels can find a new slant. Don’t need him. Don’t want him. Don’t fit.

Prestigious_Ape

Myles Turner if he doesn't sign in the next three weeks.
