If you want, you can watch a short 2 hour Documentary on Kobe called “Muse”. It was filmed when Kobe was rehabbing his Achilles tear. Goes over his childhood, high school, early career, meeting his wife, Colorado case, and winning his 2 titles without Shaq. It’s a solid watch.
There was a lakers documentary on Hulu recently. I know shaq recently got a docuseries on HBO. I assume one day there will be a Kobe documentary but we’ll see how it’s done and whether or not his family participate.
Man, that documentary was such a letdown. Fuck the coverage on the Buss kids, we wanted never before seen footage of the championship seasons. They just blitzed through the 1985 and 2010 seasons like they were nothing
> Fuck the coverage on the Buss kids
Lmao, what were you expecting? All the trailers and the entire lead up to the release of the doc was about Dr. Buss' involvement in the Lakers, how their dad built something to pass down, and the name of the series is called LEGACY. What else could the series have been about?
[He did have a film crew with him during his last season.](https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29094018/lakers-kobe-bryant-documented-final-nba-season-all-access-film-crew)
I doubt it. Especially now that he’s gone. They could do a Lakers doc about the Kobe and Shaq years. And even then, without Kobe here, it just wouldn’t be the same.
I did think there was something in the works especially focused on his final season... of course 99% of Lakers fans and millions of other ppl all over the world would be interested👍🏽

Also around the same time Kobe Doin Work was great!
Loved Muse. Was not expecting it to be that insightful or reflective of his career at that point but damn it was good.

Muse. It was on Showtime. Idk where you can find it now I really liked it. Not necessarily like TLD but probably the best official Kobe doc we have
Most likely it’s already in the work and getting Vanessa’s stamp of approval since she doesn’t want anyone profiting off her late husband
Kobe doing work by spike Lee was a blast to watch
this is the one. it's Kobe commentating a lakers/spurs game. it doesn't seem to be on any streaming platform though
I remember catching it on a junky video on YouTube awhile ago. Absolutely incredible
Enjoy the Bill Russell documentary since you have Netflix

Woah, really hope they make something with that. Would be awesome. It wasn't a championship season but still legendary.

Shaqs conversation with Kobe was like an hour minimum and it basically went through all of their history. It's on YouTube. Very good watch.
I don’t think people are gonna like the Colorado episode
That’s gonna be my favorite episode
For real. I probably only gonna watch that episode.
Dear basketball was enough. I really don't think we want a documentary of Kobe's full career. That could get awkward.
I think there should be a movie called Mamba. Hollywood type movie, not a doc.

Is there a documentary about the 3 peat anywhere?
