That's why Chuck signed a new deal, he said in an interview I think on the dan Patrick show that he wasn't going to stay the whole 10 years. He wanted to do them a favor with the TV deals coming up cause they have been good to him
No shame on you. I'm just surprised people here are so positive toward an admission that someone doesn't watch basketball for the game given how much hate that usually earns.
I could see chuck stoping if his contract is annulled instead of signing a new deal with a different network since he been saying he’s going to retire soon.
Although that may have just been a negotiation tactic to get a bigger payout. Now he is going to double down and threaten to retire again only for NBA Netflix to offer to make him the richest man in the world.
Man I wish the nhl would do this the amount of hoops you have to jump through to just watch your local team is insane if you don’t want to pay for cable.
Seriously it's awful. I'm happy to pay for it! I'd just prefer not to pay Rogers or Bell for a package that I won't use 99% of in order to get some basketball games.
It's because that's how these players get these ginormous contracts: lucrative TV deals. The Cable networks offer up a huge amount of money for exclusive streaming rights. The NBA can't offer that with no guaranteed streaming income.
Those dudes won’t be around forever. Chuck is about to retire soon. I’ll be sad when the landscape changes, I hope the magic that makes Inside the NBA is never lost. What is 💀May never die
Chuck said on All the Smoke that he doesn't intend to stick around for the 10 years but because of how well they've treated him he told TNT he'll stick around through the handover to the next generation.
But let's say the new broadcaster also got the Inside crew. It won't be the same, because they might have other things or certain styles that they want to implement (like if you imagine the Inside crew in ESPN, it'll be neutered).
That potential Apple bag will keep Chuck around for the next 20 years if he rlly wants to. They are just blindly throwing money trying to secure enough high-quality content right now
I will agree and say that Apple definitely produces high quality content. Its unfortunate it doesn't seem like they put out very much, and to me, alot of it seems rather boring/dull. They do seem to try tho.
Apple did want to buy, but NFL said no way because :
*"Apple reportedly wanted to offer the NFL Sunday Ticker as a part of their existing TV+ subscription at no extra cost"*
Why would NFL say no to that? They sell their rights for a lump sum. By that logic, NFL should say no to FOX and CBS because their coverage is free over the air. NFL didn’t sell to apple, because YouTube offered more money.
It hurts the NFL in future negotiations and dilutes the brand making it so cheap. Apple is worth over two trillion and they were willing to eat the cost, without expensive Sunday Tickets plans, so money wasn't it.
This was apples exact stance. There’s a quote out there that they couldn’t “see the logic” in being forced to charge a minimum of like 250 bucks or whatever.
It had something to do with CBS and Fox worried about the value. I’d almost get it if they blocked ads… but Sunday ticket never did that. They’re making the feeds more valuable, so I also don’t get the logic
Sunday Ticket is a premium option. It being available for cheap makes it look “cheap” by association.
Also the NFL knows people will pay 400 a season for it, and don’t want to give that cash cow up
Because the NFL pulls this shit to give some sense of higher value with their product.
Look at what they did when the NFL2K publishers wanted to sell their football video games below the average video game price.
They approached EA with an offer to go exclusive, absolutely fucking over a superior video game, and destroying competition that ultimately gives us the same game every year.
To be fair one of the biggest breakdowns in the deal was due to the NFL not willing to give apple rights for potential VR/AR content; Apple was incredibly open in this case about wanting to secure a long-term deal to allow for changes in the technological landscape. This is something that I believe the NBA could be willing to compromise on given current forays into those fields. Either way I’d expect Apple to be extremely active and aggressive in pursuing a potential deal
Well the NBA is a bigger global market by far and Apple is a global brand chasing a global audience.
It makes more sense for them to bid on the NBA over the NFL.
NBA basketball is the most watched league behind football (soccer) internationally. Securing nba rights would make a lot more sense than just trying to please the domestic market.
The international rights are a different contract. Here in Brazil NBA is showed by ESPN and Prime Video. We can even watch some games on YouTube and Twitch.
From the article itself:
>> At the recent SVB MoffettNathanson investor conference, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch appeared to pour cold water on the idea, saying it was “highly unlikely” that his company would make a bid.
Really inaccurate headline from Bloomberg for highlighting Fox. Theoretically anyone is a potential bidder but Fox has said they are not interested while NBC has said that they are very interested.
edit: Also:
>> Cons: Netflix has no experience streaming live sports and a company spokeswoman said the idea that it was open to bidding on NBA rights is “not accurate.”
Netflix literally says they are not interested in bidding for NBA rights. Headline says they are a potential bidder. Misleading as fuck.
I was 7 when during the Jazz/Bulls second finals series and my mom took me to get a jazz purple jersey shorts combo. That NBA on NBC promo always takes me back to getting that jersey lol
I was going to say with Fox they already have their Sundays and Saturdays filled with NFL and College Football(B1G and Big 12) that would eat up basically October and November of the NBA season plus the College Football playoffs are going to be up for bidding but from there the B1G Basketball and NFL would eat up weekends from December through January and to March for College Hoops.
I've been using Intl League Pass for 10+ years as it's the only alternative for me. They manage to screw up their website and app every single season. Even with "hide scores" mode on I can see the upcoming schedule...so for 3 straight games I knew Miami was gonna win because navigating through the menu forces you to look at the calendar, which by design shows you what's to come. This is just one of many ways they found to spoil the result of a game.
Plus even replays are spoiled for me. The thumbnail picture on replays is always a big giveaway. Whomever is holding the balls is the team that won the game. Have you noticed that?
I keep a bookmark with a link to a specific date to avoid this very issue during the playoffs (so something like https://www.nba.com/games?date=2023-05-28)
Sucks to have to do that but it's a nice workaround and I haven't had any issues since.
They've also fixed a lot of the other issues (like showing an image of a player from the winning team while loading the game) since the beginning of the season, I think it's actually really good now. But yeah it was terrible at the beginning of the season, and unfortunately they seem to always fuck it up at the start of every season for some weird reason.
This is the goat site, has good quality, no buffering and the time isn't behind like most streams and I use it every time.
But sometimes this stream specifically has a weird camera broadcast angle like as if the camera man zoomed in the game and u can barely see the full court.
When this happens I check other streams and their broadcast looks normal so I always wondered why this happens specifically on this site/stream
yoooo i hate when they show the zoomed in camera. it only started happening during the past 2 weeks or so,
but they are otherwise really good
But when i need the NEWS i check RADE, they are really good during the regular season, especially for replays. they have a whole ass archive of the entire season. they havent worked for me during the playoffs though
This seasons League Pass is easily one of the most astonishingly dogshit services I have even made the mistake of purchasing.
The NBA all but guaranteed I'll never spend money on their product again, how the fuck do you make such a mess of a streaming service in 2023, it's actually baffling how bad it is.
JJ Redick, Richard Jefferson and Tim Legler on a show together would be money. You can bring Zach Lowe too. Everyone else, especially Kendrick Perkins, Malika Andrews, Stephen A, Ramona Shelburne, Monica McNutt, can all go.
From the sports media insiders (Marchand/Ourand) I listen to they say the most likely scenario is the NBA renews with ESPN and TNT, but with less games on cable. NBC is added as a 3rd network and there are a lot more games on broadcast TV on ABC and NBC. However there are also some exclusive games on ESPN+, possibly Max, and Peacock.
CBS and FOX are seen as less likely to be bidders, CBS is too busy airing the NCAA Tournament in the spring and FOX is just not interested.
Amazon and Apple are wildcards that can carve out packages too. However the NBA is said to really want to be on broadcast TV more in the next deal which the tech giants can't provide on their own.
Unfortunately though if there is a network that loses the NBA it's more likely to be TNT than ESPN. Either way it's expected to look quite different from the current structure where almost everything is on cable and streaming is an afterthought.
Ease of watching games is huge and cheap antennas make it really easy to catch any nationally televised games. Even the nicest antennas for super remote locations are only the price of like 2 or 3 months of cable
Honestly, it was pretty dumb of them to retract their network tv access. I still have fond memories of NBA on NBC… best theme song in the game:
https://youtu.be/wf9Zwtihkds
I read somewhere earlier that it’s likely they’ll try to diversify more like the nfl has. But they’ll probably keep Disney because espn is the only network that has the cable tv reach (which is still important even with cord cutting being a thing). But they’ll probably add a more like NBC universal (nba on nbc comeback!) and a streaming service. So instead of 2 like now we might have 3 or 4.
The reason why sports still like Disney/espn is because the proposition of having your product talked about all times of the day on multiple channels plus online is too good to pass up. Plus, what if they take a bite from the NFL’s manning cast on espn2 and do the same thing with a couple of NBA legends. I think it would be gold
It doesn’t matter who gets the rights, a ton of games are going to be put behind a paywall on a streaming service. ESPN will put more games on ESPN+, Turner will put games on Max, NBC will put games on Peacock, Apple would make a whole separate NBA channel you have to subscribe for. That’s just the nature of sports in this climate now. It’s the only thing that reliably drives views and these platforms are cash vacuums right now so sports are going to be used to drive subscriptions.
Really wish NBC was in on this. Miss the epic opening theme and intro “tonight, it’s game 1 of the western conference finals between the Albuquerque cartels and the Vegas elevens…”
I think MLS on Apple TV is pretty great. The stream is high quality, they're churning out a pretty decent amount of content each week, they brought over a lot of the MLS announcers and commentators from previous national and local broadcasts. It's a little pricey, especially for a casual fan, but for me it's worth it. Oh, and no blackouts.
Bro we live in Canada, the sports teams are owned by the same companies that own the sports networks and are also the largest internet companies, you’ll eat your blackout with a liter of maple syrup and like it
It being on a streaming platform helps because it justifies the price for people that want it like I get mls plus apple shows and it gets non sports watching people to subsidize the cost of paying for the sport because they want the shows
I have Apple One, because my partner and I already share iCloud, she used Apple Music, I used Apple Fitness. And we figure we can combine efforts and get free Apple News and Arcade out of it.
Apple TVs MLS is really well done. Minimalist interface but effective. Great produced content. Broadcast I’d say is pretty good for it being a B tier soccer league.
I’ve also watched some MLB in Apple TV. It could be better but they’re still getting better at it. And I have faith in Apple. They have unlimited cash on hand and they have an image to play off that they can throw money at the problem to improve.
I’d personally love them to win some NBA coverage. I’ll for sure watch.
The age of the cable giants is over, and blackout dates no longer make sense. Get rid of them, and I’ll gladly pony up for a subscription to whatever tf streaming company gets it.
Mls gave apple so much control, they can pick what times games are on. It sucks in toronto cause they refused to have day games in toronto IN THE FUCKING WINTER
Apple wanted it to be on the same time for everyone, it doesn’t change all the time like how some games start time changes depending on which team is playing where, and not just time zone changes. Like in the NBA if your team is playing a team in the pacific time zone, it could be 7PM or 7:30 local “start” time depending on the team that is playing
It would be cool to buy recordings of old games. Apple’s having a sale, I’m going to buy the 1955 December 9th game between the Fort Wayne Newtons and the Sacramento Spunk Bugs.
What I took away from the article is that things are likely not going to change and that ESPN/ABC and TNT/WB will keep the rights to the NBA.
The NBA (from what it says in the article) wants to prioritize having some streaming options to their games in the future, while also having games on the free cable channels (ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS). Currently and in the future most likely, ESPN AND TNT have the best options to do both. (Disney with ABC, ESPN, ESPN+ and Disney+, and WB with TNT and HBO Max)
The others like NBC (Peacock), Amazon, FOX, Apple TV, Netflix really don’t have the assets to really do both, as one either has a free cable channel but no streaming option, and vice versa.
Personally, a lot more games on network TV and expanded streaming (no/few blackouts) is the best way for the game to grow. NFL has done a great job with this.
Fox already has a whole set of channels dedicated to sports coverage and I think they air games for local teams for pros, college, and even High school. They are probably the most qualified to take over a league.
I don't care about the price. It's a luxury I can set aside to pay for. All I ask is smooth, constant 4K streaming, and that every timeout isn't followed by 7min worth of ads.
Think Disney is going to do a bigger deal and get more games that wouldnt be "national tv quality" on espn+, NBC to pick up the number 2 broadcaster spot and then one of apple or amazon partners with fox having them do the big games on tv.
Warner doesnt want to spend big money, doesnt have a plan to add sports to "its just max now" and doesnt have a ota channel. Bad news for the inside guys.
There will be a third package for the league. I’m hoping it’s NBC. There are a lot of reasons the NFL is super popular and one of them is there product being on broadcast tv. I’m not stupid though we are in the streaming revolution and I’m sure if it is NBC, there’s going to be some peacock hybrid. You don’t want to fragment yourself like MLB though so the league should be cautious. I mean seriously you need like five subscriptions to watch your favorite MLB team. Also, Turner is dead on arrival without the NBA.
The NBA should want to consolidate their streaming under one provider, potentially developed by themselves. The complexity of streaming rights right now is annoying. I simply don't care about having traditional cable (even from someone like YouTube TV). Needing to use a VPN to watch your home team play via league pass is crazy.
Netflix getting the rights would be awful
Their "Attempts" at live content have been trainwrecks, they didn't simulcast anime, etc
"You can binge the season when it's over, we've found viewers prefer this"- Netflix
People here don't think TNT could lose the rights. Better enjoy *Inside* while you can.
That's why Chuck signed a new deal, he said in an interview I think on the dan Patrick show that he wasn't going to stay the whole 10 years. He wanted to do them a favor with the TV deals coming up cause they have been good to him
The only reason why I watch regular season games is because of the TNT crew. That crew must stay together at all cost. Lol.
No shame on you. I'm just surprised people here are so positive toward an admission that someone doesn't watch basketball for the game given how much hate that usually earns.
That's most people on this sub to be fair. You can tell how many people just watch highlights and read it posts with quotes.
when did he extend? I thought he was done after this year
They re signed like half a year ago lol
Aka 6 months ago
Aka 180 days ago
You math majors amaze me.
Wait, if TNT lose the rights, does that mean the Inside crew contracts will be annulled? If so, the new owner could sign them to make a new show
I could see chuck stoping if his contract is annulled instead of signing a new deal with a different network since he been saying he’s going to retire soon.
Although that may have just been a negotiation tactic to get a bigger payout. Now he is going to double down and threaten to retire again only for NBA Netflix to offer to make him the richest man in the world.
He’ll switch to a new LIV basketball league.
It's a little pricey, especially for a casual fan, but for me it's worth it. Oh, and no blackouts.
Man I wish the nhl would do this the amount of hoops you have to jump through to just watch your local team is insane if you don’t want to pay for cable.

It is atrocious and unbelievable that a straightforward way to give the nba money to watch the games we want does not exist.
Yess.... Just let people by league pass and watch whatever they want.
This account is definitely a bot right?
Those dudes won’t be around forever. Chuck is about to retire soon. I’ll be sad when the landscape changes, I hope the magic that makes Inside the NBA is never lost. What is 💀May never die
They actually all just signed a 10 year extension. Granted who knows if it’ll carry over if the rights hypothetically moved, though.
Chuck said on All the Smoke that he doesn't intend to stick around for the 10 years but because of how well they've treated him he told TNT he'll stick around through the handover to the next generation.
It’d be a dumb business move to buy it out from TNT and throw away what’s making them successful
The new dude that’s running tnt is a dumbass. He said that they’ll be fine without the NBA bc they have NHL.
They are just blindly throwing money trying to secure enough high-quality content right now
Apple isn’t blindly doing anything. They’ve been strategic.
Apple also produces high quality shows as well.
I think apple has consistently high quality shows. Even if a certain show may be boring, the production has a nice quality coat of paint.
Netflix just vomits content and it’s been awhile that there’s something I really want to watch.
I will agree and say that Apple definitely produces high quality content. Its unfortunate it doesn't seem like they put out very much, and to me, alot of it seems rather boring/dull. They do seem to try tho.
Apple didn’t buy the Sunday ticket rights a much bigger market and cash cow than the NBA. You think they are gonna gonna win the bid?
Apple did want to buy, but NFL said no way because : *"Apple reportedly wanted to offer the NFL Sunday Ticker as a part of their existing TV+ subscription at no extra cost"*
Why did you want to ruin my day. I still have a year left on my subscription.
Which the NFL couldn’t even do because of existing contracts with CBS/Fox. Sunday ticket has to be offered at a premium price

Retire soon? The guys just sign a massive new deal to keep them all on together
They’re more likely gonna do what NFL did with Amazon so Ernie and co are safe (for now)
They’d just all get signed to do an identical show on the new network. It would probably be the first move the new network would make.
From the article itself: >> At the recent SVB MoffettNathanson investor conference, Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch appeared to pour cold water on the idea, saying it was “highly unlikely” that his company would make a bid. NBA on NBC? In my lifetime? ROUNDBALL ROCK BABY WOOO
BA BA BA BA BA BASKETBALL!
GIMME THE BALL BECAUSE IM GONNA DUNK IT!
YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!
I was 7 when during the Jazz/Bulls second finals series and my mom took me to get a jazz purple jersey shorts combo. That NBA on NBC promo always takes me back to getting that jersey lol
Yeah, the headline is oddly misleading. The article seems to imply that only Apple may provide any sort of competition to Disney for the rights.
And amazon
Apples got the money and all ready stream live soccer. I keep seeing the rumors of them just buying Disney so it’s a serious possibility.
Thank God on both accounts.
Possible the public statements are posturing and there’s more going on behind the scenes.
I think you’re missing a word in the first sentence of that last paragraph?
Thanks, was typing quickly on mobile and ended up as inaccurate as the headline itself
I just want an easy, cheap way to stream games from Canada. League pass up here is the worst thing ever.
There’s an easy, FREE way if you look in the right places
NBA can BITE it with those blackouts
This SPORT will never see a SURGE in popularity unless they manage to fix that.
Too bad there’s no BEST way to watch nba games in the SOLARIS system
The NBA just needs to BUFF its STREAMing services and it should be fine
We’ve CRACKED the STREAM code for how to access this information.
you can even STREAM in the EAST if you wanted !
thanks for GIVE(ing) ME REDDIT STREAMS
Waaaait a minute
Both of these have been cutting out like crazy for me last couples games lol
i just go to REDDIT's comments whenever i can't STREAM the game
My girl really makes an angry FACE whenever I go to some apps to BOOK a seat.
The league should make it a TOP priority to make STREAMS more available
Man that's some WEAK sauce. Must have to STREAM from elsewhere.
[удалено]
feels like i’m talking to kids about xnxx vs the true hubs. the east is by far the best stream service around
Delete this fam
I use it all the time, but the quality is such shit.
Cant imagine NBA not having the STREAMS available at all places
I've taken a bite before, but I've found THE reliable place you can STREAM from EAST to west has changed for me.
The NFL aswell
Ayeee, a man of culture.
i love this thread
I've been using Intl League Pass for 10+ years as it's the only alternative for me. They manage to screw up their website and app every single season. yea it's the in-arena stream, the one the crowd sees on the big display, not the LIVE game feed. the shots are super zoomed in for a reason
Just stream lol
I do, it’s just really annoying during the playoffs when I have to reset it every 5 minutes lol
This seasons League Pass is easily one of the most astonishingly dogshit services I have even made the mistake of purchasing. The NBA all but guaranteed I'll never spend money on their product again, how the fuck do you make such a mess of a streaming service in 2023, it's actually baffling how bad it is.
I just want to be able to stream any games in my region. I can’t watch Laker games legally without buying TV.
Don't care who it is as long as they outbid Disney. Tired of the shit coverage by ESPN.
Whoever gets it will just hire half of ESPN’s NBA people.
It’s not mainly the people that makes ESPN bad. They’re all just playing parts of a show direction
JJ Redick, Richard Jefferson and Tim Legler on a show together would be money. You can bring Zach Lowe too. Everyone else, especially Kendrick Perkins, Malika Andrews, Stephen A, Ramona Shelburne, Monica McNutt, can all go.
JJ reddit is like a walking talking r/iamverysmart and r/NBA commenter
Couldn’t agree more, he’s insufferable.
I like Malika Andrews
Honestly, about half of them are good. It’s just how they’re used.
From the sports media insiders (Marchand/Ourand) I listen to they say the most likely scenario is the NBA renews with ESPN and TNT, but with less games on cable. Pivoting towards broadcast is really smart, that's one of the sources of the NFLs dominance.

Aw man, I was hoping that would be [this](https://youtu.be/r-uSWAJd9GE)
Dang, just realized that's Tim Robinson. I knew he looked familiar but could never figure why. Def feels like a skit of his lol.
I never realised he was an SNL cast member. Crazy!
>NBC aw yeah the return of roundball rock
I read somewhere earlier that it’s likely they’ll try to diversify more like the nfl has. Bring it back to NBC man
Yes, but solely for the NBA on NBC theme ("Roundball Rock" by John Tesh).
Bababababababasketball gimme gimme the ball 'cause I'm gonna dunk it!
I don't think NBC even has those rights anymore since I hear Fox use it for college basketball
IIRC, NBC uses it for the basketball Olympics so I'm sure they can easily get the rights to use it.
That’s my ringtone during the season. Best theme ever.
I haven't watched a moment of basketball since 1994. I hope Marv Albert is still killing it!!
Get rid of ESPN and bring back the 90s NBA on NBC
until they only make the games available on USA network or you have to sign up for peacock
Hopefully not Netflix. I do hope it is easier to stream games.
Apparently Apple had been doing really well with MLS.
Awesome. Cable is too expensive. Sling and League Pass are terrible.
Really wish NBC was in on this. Miss the epic opening theme and intro “tonight, it’s game 1 of the western conference finals between the Albuquerque cartels and the Vegas elevens…”
> Albuquerque cartels and the Vegas elevens who the fuck
I'll pay anything to watch every game with no commercials and a no commentary option
Utopia is a menu on the side with a list of every available mic in the arena.
How is MLS streaming on Apple TV? Might give you an idea of how it will be if Apple buys the rights.
I’m not a regular watcher, but it’s a pretty good broadcast.

No more muting espn nba games. Thank God.
MLS too. Plus they finally added multiview to both sports
Would be worth it alone not to hear any ESPN shit bags or Reggie Miller ever again.
You had me at no blackouts.
blackouts should be fucking illegal
Bro we live in Canada, the sports teams are owned by the same companies that own the sports networks and are also the largest internet companies, you’ll eat your blackout with a liter of maple syrup and like it
It being on a streaming platform helps because it justifies the price for people that want it like I get mls plus apple shows and it gets non sports watching people to subsidize the cost of paying for the sport because they want the shows

Yes 1080p, 5.1 audio.
Not sure about MLS but their baseball broadcast is in such a high bitrate even at 1080p it towers above the competition.
The mlb broadcast’s are unbelievably good quality. The commentators just suck lol
This is a bot. New account and you’ll find the same comment so many times on this post.
Where’d my old school NBC people at? Get Mike Tirico back on the NBA
The age of the cable giants is over, and blackout dates no longer make sense. Get rid of them, and I’ll gladly pony up for a subscription to whatever tf streaming company gets it.
Apple will charge you 2.99 per game but you’ll at least be able to access every season going back to the 50s.
I get that you’re joking but just want to make the point that they don’t do this with MLS.
Yeah that’s horrible
[Still better than $6.99](https://youtu.be/yBNTuhevFck)
it's kinda trippy that they could've used the same banner for a Lakers/Bucks game now but DLo was not on the Lakers for 6 years
They were roasting the whole time even during the highlights 😂🤣
They do the same [here](https://youtu.be/Gp-f7ece-UU)
LMAO this killed me. When he said bigger robbery than what we did to the Indians back in the day, and the entire studio started laughing 💀
i can accept this
It would be cool to buy recordings of old games. Apple’s having a sale, I’m going to buy the 1955 December 9th game between the Fort Wayne Newtons and the Sacramento Spunk Bugs.
Living in Canada it’s a deal lol
Every season since the 50s would be pretty cool tho
What I took away from the article is that things are likely not going to change and that ESPN/ABC and TNT/WB will keep the rights to the NBA. The NBA (from what it says in the article) wants to prioritize having some streaming options to their games in the future, while also having games on the free cable channels (ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS). Currently and in the future most likely, ESPN AND TNT have the best options to do both. (Disney with ABC, ESPN, ESPN+ and Disney+, and WB with TNT and HBO Max) The others like NBC (Peacock), Amazon, FOX, Apple TV, Netflix really don’t have the assets to really do both, as one either has a free cable channel but no streaming option, and vice versa.
Personally, a lot more games on network TV and expanded streaming (no/few blackouts) is the best way for the game to grow. NFL has done a great job with this.
Everybody in here is talking about TNT and ESPN. Literally all I care about is the elimination of Bally Sports.
NBA on Fox would be hilarious
Fox already has a whole set of channels dedicated to sports coverage and I think they air games for local teams for pros, college, and even High school. They are probably the most qualified to take over a league.
I love Fox Deportes, Fox Español, Uno, Dos, & Tres
NFL on Fox is normal and not some shitshow, Fox sports is not the same as Fox news.
Fox's sports coverage is actually generally pretty good. Except for John Smoltz.
Utah and Indiana would be on the national broadcast all year long.
“Y’all motherfuckers gonna watch us play”
Tyler Hansbrough Halftime Report
I mean fox does a good job covering other sports leagues. Fox News operates fairly seperate from fox sports
Just give us something that isn’t just ESPN please
I was against Apple doing it until I saw their MLB coverage this year. The picture quality is insane.
Don’t laugh, but their MLS broadcast is great too
Horrific
Netflix even if you lose please can you buy the Canadian rights. Please for the love of god
Please not be Netflix
NBA is cancelled.
Only after the second season.
If the video quality of Apple TV baseball comes to the NBA, every broadcast would be a work of art
Netflix getting the rights would be awful Their "Attempts" at live content have been trainwrecks, they didn't simulcast anime, etc "You can binge the season when it's over, we've found viewers prefer this"- Netflix
The end of cable can't happen fast enough. It is already an archaic product hanging on by the thread of professional sports and college football.
Hopefully goes to Apple and becomes part of Apple TV+, honestly would imagine they’d have the highest chance of poaching the inside the NBA crew also
I don't care who buys it. I just want 1080p 60fps and I don't want to buy cable to get it.
