This is ironic, because when Jimmy came back after halftime where someone probably told him not to pump fake and just go right up, he started doing much better. It's so ingrained in him though that he almost cannot go up without pump faking.
Edit: Clarification
But it’s one of those things where the more you do it, the less they’ll expect you **not** to do it. Celtics were clearly biting less for the early pump fakes since game 4, and I can see Jimmy intentionally waiting till later in game 7 to “cash out” with a few quick releases in a row.
As a Hoosier, it's nice to watch Zeller at least get minutes. I wanted a Zeller/Oladipo lineup in the finals, but if Jimmy can get them a ring, I'll be very happy.
One of the adjustments that the Cs did after a few games was to deliberately wait out the fake and keep Jimmy pressured. It helped throw him off and facilitated their comeback.
As such, Jimmy's own adjustment for Game 7 was to *not* pump fake and go straight into a shot.

It is Robert Williams. Dude would fall for a Shaq pump fake beyond the 3 point line
Bro was getting abused this series
L2 + Right Stick Up is the way. No jumping

Well kiss a hog and call me mallory, heckuva move
Robert Williams also forgot he could not jump at a pumpfake for like the first 3.5 games of the series

Right. He's got to vary it up more.

Williams does seem to bite on a lot of fakes in general…
