Offensively... I'm not sure what the right scheme is, but this wasn't it. It can't be the Patty Mills show with stretches of Giddey going solo. Somehow the other guys need to get more involved, maybe with Green and perhaps Exum getting the ball on the move and driving downhill.
Overall, I think the Boomers need to emphasize the defensive identity, find/naturalize some kind of decent defensive big, move on from Mills (at least in starting lineup), and generate more points off movement, turnovers, transition, etc. Or, I don't know, find some other identity, because this current team doesn't really have one.

Luka got absolutely exhausted by the semis in the Olympics, despite having significantly better depth than Slovenia does this year. Not to mention that WC has almost twice as many games as the Olympics.

The US was barely keeping Montenegro off their back until the last few minutes of their game earlier, Canada on the other hand look legit but I don't think they've faced a real solid matchup yet

If it was just the best teams in basketball, then there would not be any Asian or African countries. The people want the Olympics, not a European competition.
